Wheatley and her Conservative governments were very the period 2010 to 2024 have taken great delight in ‘being tough’ on benefit and especially disability and sickness benefits system claimants…. Implementing reforms making the assessments system even more punitive and mean spirited. All in the name of getting them back to work. The result? Inflicting great pain and harm upon vulnerable claimants already struggling to manage their disability/ disabilities and/ or chronic illnesses, and far from supporting them to move closer to securing paid work, pushing them further and further away from work as more obstacles are placed in their way.
I cannot believe that Whately has the audacity to chide Labour for a lengthy consultation of disabled and long term sick benefit claimants and the charities and support organisations that help them. This is more than long overdue as disabled and long term sickness benefits claimants have for far too long been ignored, disregarded and abused by atrocious, punitive, mean spirited, and serially failed Conservative benefits policies and reforms.
Wasn't she the one couldn't do math's!!
There are a few kind bad at that. Victoria Atkins for one. Takes money away from dentists. Gives a bit back. Then says more has been put in!
Totally out of her depth
When are people going to point out they drive down unemployment by opening up and promoting 0 hour contracts to get people off the unemployment count, whilst making employment really unsecure
The party of work & aspiration?!
Yeah & my name is Jack freakin Sparrow.
Is that the best the Tories have got? They are still moaning about the "mess they inherited in 2010", what about the mess the labour Government has inherited after this bunch of incompetent clowns.
Get a grip & go away
Yes disband the Tories lol. Oh wait! Reform in the wings with the same old rubbish anyway. Just get a decent party as opposition with decent people in it. Seems that cannot be viable.
Whoever said "your welcome". I think politicians are overpaid but give them a raise 🤣
Great reply from gov minister..😊
This expectation of Economic growth year on year is demented whether Labour or Tory parties expect it, unsustainability issues aside this desire for more will end badly, sooner rather than later. Endless back and forth between feckless politicians, now that there is an endless supply of, can we find some way of hooking them up to the National grid, get them really working for us.
These people serve no real purpose and are merely s burden to a dying country. They must go. All 600 of them. And their lifetime index linked pensions and perks.
No wonder Labour laughed their a party of clowns.
Previous health minister, says everything
No wonder NHS is in a state then.
I didn't realise Vince was still around, I see they're still suffering from Random Pavarotti Disease, poor Vince.
First order of business for the tories has got to be:
#1: How to attract members who don't have resting landed-gentry face
Honestly are they for real?
Having caused more unemployment with their economic policies they now hammer the unemployed having got rid of any chance to work. Labour joined up thinking
Heckling Comrades 😂😂😂, God help our kids.
Let’s say someone has all the symptoms of cancer and they don’t need a diagnosis.
This is dangerous rhetoric.
What about tue austerity under government cuts to youth worker schemes
Voting people who like to fill in petitions believe this rubbish
To be fair, most of those signatories were recruited from abroad, by Musk and Putin
Let’s see how the Labour Budget helps to get the non working people in the UK into jobs! The business community doesn’t seem to be convinced.
Give it year or two and she'll be leader of the opposition
State of these fools.
Can someone explain to me how Whatley gets a job,?
She has been absoluty useless in every one.
its quite simple really, theres more jobs available than mps in the party. you then have 2 thirds of the party not wanting to be in the shadow cabinet under kemi. so jobs went to whoever was left, sometimes more than one job.
You’ve had fourteen years in opposition to fix this, 🤣🤣🤣
This Tory is delusional and utterly clueless.
