Hi, whats your impresions about this gearbox combined with this petrol 1.5 engine? Can you tell us a bit more about kickdown response and fuel consumption?
I don’t think they designed these cars specifically for racing around all day at high speeds ( it was built for comfort) you wanna fast sports car? Well don’t buy a family sedan ( simples really )
Wirkt sehr gequält der Motor, Downsizing sei Dank... Wobei ich würde den neuen Insignia jedem Passat vorziehen, alleine schon aus dem Grund, dass Opel eine richtige 8Stufen Wandlerautomatik verbaut, und kein Drecks-DSG wie VAG.
@@musik100 Genau die Meinung vertrete ich auch. Er ist schnell genug und selbst mit 165 PS wirst du noch schneller sein als die meisten anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer. Beim Insignia gefallen mir die AGR-Sitze sehr gut und auch das HUD kann sich sehen lassen. Auch von außen sagt er mir zu. Allerdings kann ich mit dem Interieur nichts anfangen.
Der Motor läuft gequält, ist nix für den schweren Insi. Angeblich soll ja nächstes Jahr ein 2.0 mit 136 und 200 Ps kommen. Diese Motoren sollten besser passen. Der 1.5 ist doch bereits an der Grenze belastet und dürfte nicht viele km halten. Hinzu kommt die LSPI Gefahr, die jedem an der Grenze belasteten Direkteinspritzer trifft.
I have this 1.5 turbo but with manual gearbox. It is much quicker that this on video! Ok I'm usually using 98 or 100 fuel, but it definitely runs much better beyond 200 kmh. Never drove it max spd, but did 230 on gauge, it could do more! And it was flat, no downhill or something... I find it great on highways, having in mind that it's only 1.5 but 250 Nm is not so good and it isn't quick at all on B roads...

I had a rented one of these Manual , I Got 120mph out of it After some Thrashing. Not sure if I could get any more out of it my Mrs started flipping out 😆

Du vergisst , das der Vectra etwa 200kg leichter war und der 170 ps einen Liter mehr Hubraum hatte . Ausserdem sind 220 schnell genug . Nur selten kann man diese Geschwindigkeit heute noch fahren.

It is Automatic and Opel's automatic are significant slower than the manual. If you want a fast Opel - select the manual gearbox - which by the way is amazingly good...

I think it's slow for petrol my insignia grandsport 1.6td that have just 115hp!! i think, and drive over 200km deffo will do over 220km but i didn't try it to go over 200km

Mir wäre das Auto schnell genug . Wo kannst du solche Geschwindigkeiten heute noch fahren bei den völlig überfüllten Autobahnen .

Irgendwie traurig wenn man überlegt das 170 PS aus dem Vectra B 1995 für gute 250-260 reichten da dieser noch unbegrenzt war...

I had one on a rental 1.5T manual I was quiet impressed with it to be honest ,
My record is 200 km/hr(~124 mph) in a 2015 Honda Civic EX CVT Sedan which has 143 hp.

I have a 2009 Insignia 2.0 TDCI 163 HP automatic and it’s faster than this, mostly the acceleration.
Chris84Redfield he is accelerating without kick-down/sport mode of gearbox - look at the engine speed.
