ian i first seen this waltzer 20yrs ago on Paignton green and it blew my mind how fast it was,,to my thoughts it hasn't changed,,has fair trade been running that long?..
Hi bud. No,it was a Maxwell Waltzer and i still consider it as such. Fairtrade first did Chris Danters waltzer around off the top of my head,2008. It's late and I've had a bottle of wine etc with friends. Fairtrade just tarted the rounding boards up
@@funfairaudits Fairtrade did the refurb onto one load following a road accident in 2000. Colin Sr had most of the ideas for it which have been incorporated into the present day Fairtrades. The only Maxwell parts left on it are the steps, cars, gratings and gates and cheesewheel drive. It is very much the prototype Fairtrade machine.
Great informative video
Cool video

@@tecnosam6 cheers,Ian.
@@funfairaudits no problem. There’s quite a bit of history in one of the Facebook groups and photos from before it had rounding boards etc
Nice video but you can tell when they convert a maxwell
Good though that they oil the track every couple of hours.
