Hi Ian, get yourself fit and well in your own time. All your fans and subscribers will be here in the spring time when the weather's hopefully better and the Valentines and Easter fairs start. Listen I'm old school like you mate and when I travelled we pulled in after the bonfires and pulled out in early March, with that in mind my last vlog was a back end fair in 2024 and my first this year will be February Valentines fair. My channel has come leaps and bounds this year and I know my subscribers appreciate the winter down time are looking forward to new content when the fairs really get going again in the spring time. Don't feel pressured it's a seasonal hobby. Get well soon mate 😊👍

I was at the Worcester fair with my sister on a weekend break from Sheffield on Saturday 30th November absolutely loved it. The rides and stalls were first class. We loved the quirky victorian acts here and there, well done Worcester, and hats off to you for all the hard work on setting it up
Come on another night next year. Saturday is too busy. Glad you enjoyed my local
Great video! It’s fantastic to see both the classic and modern waltzers in action. Regarding the David Cox waltzer, all the information I’ve found online points to this being a Maxwell machine, specifically the W50. However, I’m a bit puzzled because I believe this was originally an ark converted into a waltzer around 1981. If I’m correct, Maxwell waltzers typically featured one large platform for the cars and a smaller one alongside it, whereas this machine appears to have uniformly sized platforms. I’m not entirely sure, though-perhaps you could shed some light on this? Keep up the great work!
Ten cyrk wygląda jak z lat 90 - tych. Takie kiedyś były cyrki w Polsce. Obecnie są nowoczesne cyrki i straciły swój urok.
@@UrbenXXX Does anyone on here speak Polish and can translate ?
@@funfairauditsmi tłumaczy translator 😊
This circus looks like it's from the 90s. This is what circuses used to be like in Poland. Nowadays there are modern circuses and they have lost their charm.
Excellent footage of the pull on and build up here, enjoyed this 👍

@@FairGround7DeLorean Thanks bud. It was tough for everyone. Such a tight venue that causes distress for all involved. It really needs a better position.

@@huwfoxhall547 Thanks Huw. The weather held us back last week. Got a couple more Midlands to look at then we'll be down there.

@@harveybray1804 Probably. But someone didn't measure properly. He's very precise. I know. Sometimes shit happens. None of us are perfect.
@@funfairaudits Glad to see the camera survived! Another great vid, thanks for posting
@adiejames416 lol, tbh it's put me off going back on Saturday. He's a top bloke but the comment was a bit hurtful when you consider I promote for free. We all have our stresses and I won't hold it against him. It was a hard pull on.
@@funfairaudits Maybe he should watch the Vlog in full, maybe then he will hear your commentary that clearly states "who said building up a funfair is easy" highlighting just how much hard work goes on behind the scenes to get the fair into town, the info on parking that you relay and the info about each ride. Gr8 work fella and don't let his comments stop you form posting
Bishtons did have a set which Bret Graham had. I think at 1 time Bishtons had 3 sets on the road. Bret's travels under Bishtons name aswell.
@@scottaustin5362 Yes, I think they did have three
@funfairaudits there easy to tell the difference. Lawrence's has a replica savage steam engine in the middle. Brets doesnt.
@scottaustin5362 yes,and they've got names on if I remember rightly. Think one was called Emily ?
@@funfairaudits sounds about right. Oh btw. Keep up the good work! Always enjoy your videos and a midlander myself keeps me up on what Im missing
@scottaustin5362 ahh thank you. I've got a couple lined up locally.
I don't understand he might be joking about putting it up your ass but why would you work on a funfair ride or own a funfair ride I don't understand why they so dumb it ses you can hire the ride what happens if I hire the ride for a party do all the people at the party have to keep it secret party
Fun fair people are funny people I am going to buy a funfair Ride for 100 thousand pounds brand new then no filming or pictures at funfairs what was the point might as well set your money on fire watch it burn why the lights music and smoke if don't want pictures or filming very funny people cheaper to get over to Germany where is much better UK funfair rubbish now
It was just one of those nights. He's one of the best showman I know. That venue is extremely tight and very stressful for pulling on and building up. Trust me, he's a good bloke and does look after his workers. .
@Edwardknowsitall It was a stressful time. I get welcomed on their grounds to film and they've asked to use my footage on a few occasions. Everybody showman or not loses their temper if things don't go smoothly.
Beautiful fair trade waltzers ❤

@@goflydrone6447 Premium event. Wilson's best earner of the year. If you go Saturday just be aware, it's rammed and you'll spend hours getting round the whole event. The stalls go up to the cathedral where there'll be a stage.
I feel this video is lacking comments, although not relevant to this fair whatsoever i wanted to share this memory with you. The shopping centre in Bournemouth i mentioned previously now demolished and rebuilt once was going to hold a Christmas funfair possibly mid 1980's it was and Jennings pulled on the car park built up never opened and pulled down and left because the local church close to the site was having none of it. I was fuming as you can imagine i very nearly had a fair right on my doorstep for Christmas, i could see the fair from my house 😮 but yes paratrooper, waltzer and dodgems all built up and pulled down without even opening, was only a youngster at the time and thought i'd dreamt it all. Again my chat with John Jennings Snr this year confirmed that it did really happen. Miserable vicar ruined it all 😠
@@CoolhandLuke552 I noticed last year how views and comments tended to drop off around now. Either people are faired out or just don't find them relevant for the time of year. It's sad for the showfolks, they've still got bills to pay .
@@funfairaudits When I was travelling with Rose's in the early 90's we had pulled in the yard by early October with the exception of the arcade and kiosk attending some events leading up to and over Christmas and New Year. Some the gaff lads went home or stayed in the yard, and many showmen took driving work or opened with various stands and markets.
I was a bit too old for Thomas The Tank Engine although my younger brother watched it. I'm sure they didn't all have the same face though 😆 Ivor the engine was my era, vague memory of Ivor always being over worked 🚂 😮💨
Lol
Enjoyed the vlog, the cold and wet weather is keeping people from venturing outside of late. Nice to see Chipperfield's Dodgems. The Ladybirds ride really has stood the test of time, my first memory of this Modern Products juvenile was when the Hamlin family i believe connected to the Jennings show family use to open at a shopping centre in Bournemouth with a Ladybird ride and a hot dog kiosk for Christmas all throughout the 1980's, i spoke with John Jennings Senior about this memory when i met him at Easter and he also remembered this. We chatted for ages about the old days between my filming the pull down at Redhill Park Bournemouth last Easter. Always enjoy the history about the places you visit, very interesting 👍
@@CoolhandLuke552 Thanks Luke. When I first started doing the longer Vlogs I did give a brief history of where I visited. It maybe something I need to do again.
@@funfairaudits Always interesting to hear and learn of the history 👍
