Excellent! I had the same issue and fixed it. My model number was EY201D but tightening the nut was also the solution. Thanks a lot!

Tried this as nut fell out and once I put the nut back over the thread it worked a treat...
Thank you timug just saved me buying a new fryer...

No need to open top part just put the airfryier up side down and tighten the nut
