- Just a video to share some glitches (or alternative strats) that I know on Pikmin 3 (I didn't find them all myself). All of the glitches in the video are currently unused in runs.
The purpose of this video is to show how it is possible to mess around in the game. From here, maybe other players will find time-saving glitches or strats using things in this video! I hope it'll be useful, and if not, I hope it'll be entertaining at least! ;)
The last two glitches (sunset cloning and Formidable Oak new route) were found by Noa moa, an awesome Japanese Pikmin player. He doesn't play Pikmin 3 that much but he found a lot of glitches on Pikmin 2.

Hey ice cube.... I found some more glitches in pikmin 3 some like doing the first boss without saving Brittany from being trapped without the game crashing pretty cool I liked it nice video one of the glitches helped me accomplish this glitch it's awesome thank you

SOMEONE PUT ON THE SM64 GAME SELECT THEME AND GIVE ME NERD GLASSES
Well, it actually is possible to bring yellows back. Existing in the caves (exvluding the one Brittany fell in) can be found yellow candypop buds which can be used to power the light in the cave to give permanent access to the yellow onion. By walking up the ice slide and leaving the cave (which can be done without yellows), either 2 things could happen: 1. The yellow extinction cutscene would play, given that the day has actually started. Or 2. The yellow extinction cutscene doesn't play, resulting in a seemingly dead end, because the electric gate near the cave needs yellows to destroy it. Given situation 2, you would need to do an any% exploit to get your way to the 10 pikmin bag right outside the boss arena cave (You can do this by using the swooping snitchbug near the electric gate to get hold of you and let it drop you out of bounds atop ground you aren't supposed to stand on. Then walking through a branch and getting farther out of bounds. Find your way to a river (supposedly the river you enter in to get to the hairy longlegs arena) but stay out of bounds and drop yourself into the river. Then carefully walk through rocks and into the ground while avoiding the hit boxes that can take you into the longlegs area and simply feel your way until you fall through the ground and get teleported atop to the bag). Have Alph through 10 pikmin to you and have them pull down the bag. Simply make your way through the cave until you find a yellow candypop bud. using it will then give you yellow pikmin which can be used to light up the cave Brittany fell into, freeing the yellow onion.

Pretty cool stuff! Pikmin cloning might have some use in speedruns, don't you think?
Not sure since it costs some time to manipulate pikmin groups... But I'll try when I will redo all fruits!
+Ice cube I would love to see cloning used in speedruns. I've seen both your All Fruits and 42 pikmin/no death/no spray and I enjoyed it. Thank you for these wonderful speedruns!
P.S I also play/speedrun Pikmin 3, and I think the mission mode is the best.

at 3:50, I'm going to guess the half of the Garden of Hope with the Blue pikmin is up that ledge. So if you managed to get a captain up there how much of the game could you skip?

None, there's an invisible wall preventing access into the blue onion until after the scornet maestro Is defeated and garden of hope II is unlocked

a way to get the starfruit in the tropical wilds is that you try to get it into your camera, and with winged pikmin, aim at the starfruit and throw them. no need for the puzzle ;D

push the stick to ~-80°, 0° being the axis of the wall. Basically almost perpendicular, just a little forward, it should work.
