This work is impressive...But totally unnecessary. There are so many things that could be done to make this process faster and easier on the workers involved. This is just work to make work. Plus there is absolutely zero safety measures in place for anyone involved, no shoes, giant spinning forms with no guards, no covers over belts or chains...It's thinking like this that will keep these people working like they did 100 years ago...what a pity.

Pity it didn't show the whole process - were the assemblies submerged in the pond to aid curing before the molds were removed?
Molds are removed after a day. Pipes are cured in the pond after the casts are removed.
See this video of another factory in India that makes smaller dia cement pipes. This one involves more manual labour as it doesn't even have a hoist/crane for moving the casts.

Oh my goodness! It doesn't matter what words are all typed out describing jobs. As soon as Concrete enters the forming of a job. Concrete tiles production. That just made the job much harder. We have OSHA here to protect us. They give us crazy rules and they even call ahead so the business will already have their osha money ready to. We wear boots if we came into any job shoeless they would fire us. I guess going shoeless you know what not to do. Where I feel most likely the people here would have every single toe knocked off.
