not bad, i subscribed. you don't have the annoying overbearing movie soundtrack blasting over the content, thanks. this factory is exceptional. all the automatic equipment, the specialized equipment, it's obvious they've spent a lot of time and money optimizing the production. very little manual labor except transportation. Pakistan, this is how you do it Gentlemen.

The oil is also sometimes called "mold release".

In English, the "oil" would be called "a release agent." That's anything that helps whatever you're molding (concrete, resin, metal, etc) to release from its mold!

The 'oil' at 2:23 could be anything from fancy & proprietary mold release to simply diesel or kerosene
Regardless of the specific formulation of the oil, it's being used as a release agent.
Can anyone explain to me how does the concrete dry immediately without requiring to stay in the mould? How does the wet concrete retain its shape through the drying process?
The concrete isn't dry straight away, it maintains its shape because it's very thick and the internal rod with the spinning disks shaped the inside smooth and straight, that is what helps.

when a rigid structure forms an internal lattice to make something like concrete more solid, it is called a skeleton, not bones. just like how a skeleton makes the human body rigid & capable of standing upright. the oil that prevents concrete adhesion is likely mineral oil, or some similar clear oil.
I wonder how many tonnes that culvert can hold in vertical position before it will crack?
heh "sneak into factories" I was going to say you usually do not have to, they are more than happy to show people around as long as you are following their safety rules and generally not being a nuisance
