- Learn how to graph horizontal ellipse centered at the origin. A horizontal ellipse is an ellipse which major axis is horizontal. To graph a horizontal ellipse, we first identify some of the properties of the ellipse including the major radius (a) and the minor radius (b) and the center. These properties enables us to graph the ellipse.

I am so sorry your experience with math has been like that. I had a similar experience and my goal is to prevent as many students from feeling that they cannot learn math. Math is hard and not something that clicks with everyone instantly. It will click for those that stay with it and don't quit. Keep up the hard work and I hope my videos help you out.
I'm passing tests because of you (pre-cal). Thank You
i'm understand the lesson thank you i follow you from Egypt
again thank you very much
Thank you po, somehow I understand my PRE-CAL subject.😊
it took 7 minutes for me to love conics again, my teacher made this so hard, doesn't do videos, minimizes her tutoring times, and nags when you manage to come in without appointment and makes you feel embarrassed to ask qs from past sections. TEACHERS like you make peoples lives better because they passed math. my teacher is the kind that fails you and makes you feel bad by saying its your fault because you are not intelligent enough to understand her instead her teaching it bad. I love math.
I cannot appreciate you enough! I have been having you help me with math, whether I did not learn it by my teacher, or just need a better understanding of the topic. You are able to teach me in 10 minutes when it takes the teachers I have days! I have been watching your videos for 3 years now! You are one heck of a teacher and I wish I could be a student for you in-person, and not over TH-cam!
THANK YOU! Your students are very lucky to have you as a teacher :) Ellipses make so much more sense now! My math teacher thinks squishing conics into 3 days was a good idea.... but she doesnt know I have a secret weapon.. YOU!
cheer Salem! three days is fast for sure so happy my videos could be there for you
my teacher squished it into 1 😭 i’m dying
You are honestly a life saver. Thank you for all of these videos you post.
Thank you so much. Covids during this section makes learning this so hard
Brian is a lifesaver even 7 years later lol
It’s so weird seeing 1 year old comments talking about covid, I feel like it just started a week ago

Best teacher there is for math, thank you so much for explaining the concepts very well in your videos.
I wish you were my teacher D: !!!!!
My professor told my class, "STEM isn't for everyone" then scolded the class for asking for extra help and references for exams and homeworks. Lol. I've pulled 10+ all nighters this summer semester and solely learning from YT to pass this class that I paid $$$ for :D fml.
On the bright side, I actually am coming to love math (Computer Science major), the abundance of formulas are just tricky to remember and many math professors are no good and they hate people (:
TLDR, thank you for this video
yeah!! I really hate the narrative "STEM isn't for everyone" like yes but what are we supposed to do? do we just have to solely rely on our skills and your "teachings" for it to be for us? Like that's the prof's job to make us cope with STEM. STEM may not be for everyone but so is teaching sir.
This helps me a lot since I'm self-studying.
you are the best!! without this tutorials of yours my grade will be a failure, thank you so much sir
Thank you…you just answered all of my pre calculus activities
ugh, thank you so goddamn much. I think you just saved my life
you are very welcome Sophia!!
Thank you so much!!! This helped a bit more, I'm doing online learning, and my website doesn't do a great job explaining what you have to do, or having examples for questions that they end up asking on the exams
Its 2020 and im here. Thank you so much, Sir!
Thank you for helping me before my test!
hey king you drop this 👑
So glad I found your channel 2 years ago

Way better than my teacher
This is why TH-cam can be called a learning system
#DennMilez here
I just like your haircut sir...
haha thanks!
you are so smart
Thank you
How do you get major axis and minor axis? Is major axis the same with vertices? Thanks
Wouldn't the equation be a^2+b^2=c^2; I'm a little confused.
Thank you sir! Notice me please 😀
You are very welcome! :)
When Saitama is teaching 😅😅😁
Is it possible if the Value of a=2squareroot of two? Or what I mean is The square root of 8.
How to find the volume of it along x axis ?
Please answer as soon as possible
sorry I do not have any videos on that
Brian McLogan can you please upload it's answer on your website on anywhere I can see ... Please sir it's urgent.
I'm confused. I watched yours first and you said if the a is bigger than b then it'll be horizontal but when I watched another vid it said it'll be vertical. Imma very very confused right now.
Thanks ................infinite
happy to help
Danke Schon
