Hey y'all, I haven't made a video in a while because I've been so busy with university! But I enjoyed making the last video about Buffy, and apparently you guys did too, so I made another because I wanted to talk about what I like/dislike about the seasons. I'm also re-watching Buffy for the millionth time with my dad, and it's his first time watching, so I kinda have some fresh opinions I need to get off my chest lol. Of course, all of these are my own opinions, so please don't argue with me lmao, I like seeing everyone's dislikes and likes too!

I had mixed feelings about Angel when he was on Buffy, but I loved him on "Angel". His brooding is revealed to be more of a difficulty socialising and it became quite funny and endearing when he's being teased about it. He also had a lot of character growth. In Buffy, he was more of an extension of Buffy. In Angel, he gets to be a much more tridimensional character. The show in itself is great (sometimes, I think it's even better than Buffy). Not gonna spoil but there's an ongoing ennemy (and theme) during the whole series. It's also, like Buffy, an ensemble show. So, if you don't like Angel as a character, even in his show, there're other great characters you might come to love. Bonus: if you love Spike, there're flashbacks of The Fang Gang (Darla, Angel, Drusilla and Spike) before Angel got his soul back.
Pro trick: watch series on instaflixxer. Been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

Ive rewatched Buffy so many times. Season 3 has so many really fun episodes that it slowly climbed up in my rankings during my rewatches. It’s the most consistent series in regards to quality throughout. It has slowly become my favorite series to rewatch despite the fact Spike is my favorite character in Buffy and he barely shows up in Season 3. Funny how your opinions change over time.
I don’t agree with your rankings but you did a great job of explaining why you ranked them where you did. This is your opinion and you did a great job. I subscribed to your channel today because of that. Great job!

My Buffy season ranking is:
1. Season 5 (Glory is the best villain, the key storyline and spike is amazing)
2. Season 2 (Spike & Drusilla, and Angelus)
3. Season 3 (Faith!)
4. Season 1 (high school, campy monsters)
5. Season 6 (Don't like the geeks but Once More With Feeling is amazing)
6. Season 7
7. Season 4 (I hate this season so much! I like a couple of episodes (Hush, Something Blue) and Tara and Spike but thats about all I can say. Riley = no. Adam is stupid).
Can't believe you haven't seen Angel. In many episodes it surpasses BTVS. Season 5 of Angel is without doubt the best of all the seasons combined. Season 3 was the strongest Season of BTVS can't believe you had that last. Best overall Season of BTVS was Season 3, best episode of BTVS was The Gift in Season 5. Best episode of both shows combined was Not Fade Away, the Season 5 finale of Angel.
They’re just my opinions, sorry! 🤷🏻♀️ Still haven’t watched Angel because I don’t have the time; I don’t think BTVS fans should be penalised for not watching it… despite the crossovers it’s a completely different series to me.
Season 3 is my number 1. After Season 5 they lost something, 6 is probably my least favourite and Season 7 is good but there's something missing. After a few episodes, I didn't mind Dawn in Season 5, but she was one of many weak links in Season 6.

1. Season 3 (FAITH!!!)
2. Season 5 (EMOTIONAL!!!)
3. Season 2 (TEARJERKER!!)
4. Season 1 (Great start)
5. Season 7 (A lot of fans dislike the season most likely because of the potential slayers, but it was SOOOOOO EPIC!!!!)
6. Season 6 (Too dark and depressing! Made me stop watching it for a while. That musical episode is a blast!)
7. Season 4 (Oh my god, I do not like this season! Adam is a headscraching villain, Riley is a trainwreck of a boyfriend to Buffy, The Initiative subplot was lame and random, and it all felt like a BIG ripoff of The Matrix and The Terminator! Oh and that finale? BIZARRE!! Felt like a David Lynch film. Hush and Who Are You? are amazing episodes!)
Good though I disagree with your ranking and some of your opinions on the series. I love Angel and adore Season 3. I really like most of the characters including more bland ones though I have a soft spot for Willow and Spike.

Rated from highest to lowest from 1-5 what I like about it and 6 and. 7 what I don’t like
1. Season 6 ( Tara , Spuffy , Musical episode, Dark Willow)
2: Season 7 ( Spuffy, the first )
3: Season 3 ( Faith)
4: Season 5 ( Glory , Dawnie, Start of Spuffy, end of Captain Cardboard)
5: Season 2 ( Drusilla , intro of Spike, Buffy grows as a character )
6: Season 1 ( Characters are growing, one normal vamp is treated like a huge huge huge big bad, the relationships for season 2 were starting out weird)
7: Season 4 ( Adam sucks , Captain Cardboard, only thing that was good was Spike’s humor, Angel’s appearances unnoticed were just wrong)
OMG How is Season 3 not the best just with the introduction of Faith alone!
I do love the introduction of Faith, she's one of my favourite Buffyverse characters! But for me, the big bad and the depth of episodes of season 3 just weren't as good as the other seasons 🤷🏻♀️

Where did the hate for Kennedy come from? I've seen so much Kennedy hate and I just don't understand. She barely exists long enough to know her name, let alone like or dislike her, yet I continuously see her ranked as the worst Buffy character. I'm not saying I like her, but do we really hate as much as people hate Dawn? Do we really hate her as much as Warren? Do we REALLY hate her as much as CONNER?!?
Hello again, I've been watching Buffy since June thanks to All 4 for putting it all on there, I've just finished Season 3 and I feel there's a lot to top after that season
ah that’s awesome! personally season 3 isn’t as good as the others for me, but it’s still pretty good because I love Faith and there’s some classic episodes. But my favourites are seasons 4 and 5 😊👌🏻
@@extremelycosmic I Loved Faith, her story line was really good. I loved all episodes from ep 3 onwards, thought the first 2 were ok and I didn't like Gingerbread

season 6 and 5 are my favssss. keep going after 4 bcs 5-7 are all really good.

My favourite seasons from 1-7
1.season 6 - is my favourite because although it may be dark I’m a SPUFFY shipper so them being together was just (I can’t put it into words) but I didn’t like seeing red but there were soo many episodes that I love from that season like once more with feeling and tabula rasa
2.season 1 - I don’t know really why I love season 1 soo much I think it’s because it’s the start of all of it and I loved how young looking they were and I loved the episodes like the pack and it just gives me and awesome vibe altogether but I hated bangle
3.season 7 - I loved season 7 because I got to see that buffy and spike still loved each other and I loved the scene where spike and buffy were lying on the bed and when buffy told spike she loved him ,then two scenes broke my heart but I hated the potentials and the whole willow and Kennedy and when buffy was thrown out but I don’t know why I just really loved this season and I hated robin wood for attempting to kill spike
4.season 4- I loved when buffy went to collage I got to see a different part of sunnydale rather than the old school but I hated Riley
5.season 2.this season was really good when spike and druisilla make they’re enterance and I loved seeing the start of that but I hated buffy and angel , I feel like Season 2 wouldn’t be very good and it would be boring if spike and dru didn’t come into it .and I loved when buffy killed angel i was soo happy ( no offence to angel 😂)
6.season 5. I loved glory,I thought she was awesome but I didn’t like dawn I personally think she was really bratty and annoying and don’t get me started on riley he was soo selfish, I was soo glad that buffy broke up with him and I loved when we found out that spike was in love with buffy, it was soo cute
7.season 3- I hated angel soo much like I just wanted him to leave he was soo annoying but I loved faith I felt like she was a breath of fresh air coming onto the show and she was really interesting,personally I didn’t like the mayor as a big bad he just didn’t seem interesting enough I felt like if they didn’t bring faith to this season it would have been a complete fail

Omg! I think we are buffy twins! Cuz I whole heartedly agreed with EVERYTHING you said! My least favorite season was 3! Aside from lovers walk and faith. I felt like season 1 was lacking but I gave it the benefit cuz it was just starting and it had some good episodes! (Mostly the ones you stated!) So I guess my line up would be from greatest to least:
1- season 5 glory, spuffy moments!
2- season 6 spuffy, everyday life is big bad, OMWF, ect!
3- season 4 faith body switch, beginning of spuffy, Something blue! (Ew Riley)
4- season 2 I love the introduction of spike and dru. I would rather Angelus over Angel.
5- season 7 ugh! I dont hate this season. But, I don't love it either. Mostly was living for the spike monologs, and spuffy growth. An he saves the word but I hate to see him go!
6- season 1 reasons stated above!
7- season 3 reasons stated above!
I could go on forever. I won't. I feel like you'd be a awesome person to watch Buffy with!

Omg look, same i really don't like angel buttt I watched angle the series cuz cordelia was there and other charters r nice. There r a few eps in first seaons where Buffy comes 👌

Oh my gosh, you say Buffy is like your favorite show ever and yet you have never watched Angel the series ???? You are missing on so much ! So much so that I think you can't even be a "proper" Buffy fan and have a comprehensive understanding of the whole Buffyverse if you haven't watched Angel (also you should read the comics). Try and force yourself to watch it, or even better, (and easier if you don't like the character), treat yourself to a full rerun of Buffy and Angel at the same time (there are guides on the internet giving you the order you should watch all episodes of both shows - they interlock). This might even change your ranking of Buffy's favorite seasons ;)
lol alright ... I’m pretty sure I can have a good understanding of the Buffyverse without watching Angel - considering I’ve read online everything that happens in it. I’m trying to hold myself back from going crazy over your statement about me not being a ‘proper’ fan... although it’s very hurtful and you don’t have any idea how much this show means to me. Also, I did mention that I’m planning to watch angel later this year, after we finish the series we’re currently watching. It’s hard to get your hands on the comics, but I have a couple of issues, and I’d love to read them! I’m a very busy person though. Anyways, thanks for giving me something to reply to.

It’s just that as a fan of Buffy you are missing on such much and would enjoy yourself a lot if you’d watch Angel!
Ok you might not appreciate Angel hImself, but there are other great new characters such a Locke or most importantly Fred / Illyria, which is totally one of the best (dual) character(s) of the whole Buffyverse!
There are also tons of heartbreaking moments, very cool character developments for Cordelia, Darla, Drusilla, Spike, Wesley and Faith, and nice cameos from Oz, Willow and Buffy herself...
It’s just a great show overall, and I insist, the whole Buffyverse experience is such an even better road trip on rewatch if you watch both shows simultaneously from Buffy’s season 4 on ^^

People are allowed opinions. Everyone likes different characters for different reasons, and that shouldn’t affect how much of a ‘fan’ they are.
