This vid randomly came up in my feed and I was thinking this looks like my neighborhood. I went to your main page and to my surprise you live in the Addicks as well. Nice video!
Great video (showed up on my feed too) the song goes exactly with your video😂😂 cracked me up as a local houstonian too, "the Holy 💩/ wooo.. " got me 😆🤣🤣😂😅 No Whimping around now.. 😅😅 & the Bird 😅😅😅 couldn't drive. 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for sharing Stan! I'm out in the North Pacific Ocean on the way to Korea. This is definitely an interesting weather phenomenon. It seemed to be raining tree branches and limbs at one point.
Floridian here. I'm glad you weren't one of the unfortunates who made the grave decision to go out in it. We have storms similar to that almost every summer afternoon.
pretty bad, but i remember that derecho in Cedar Rapids that someone caught from the window of their house back in 2020 and it looked like the neighborhood was hit with a tornado
Yes,this is exactly how it enter and exit from Houston. That pressure high wind force was strong. If people didn’t believe it was coming this strong better believe it next time. But,they didn’t say it was Derecho. They only said it was Tornado. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧 either way both were as dangerous as 1 Tornado touching down.
typical texan man, letting all the ladies/kids move the debris XDD I saw the SAME THING HAPPEN AT MY APARTMENT COMPLEX LOLL I come out to see all the ladies raking the debris from the drains to keep them unclogged and two young women moving branches to the side. Meanwhile, all the guys just conversing with one another and telling the same story everyone had. Like.. yes we all saw the storm blow over the same trees, get over it- lets get to work. 😅

Thanks for tuning in. I have many videos, most are exploring in the Houston reservoirs.
So beautiful. Reminds me of living in Miami. I live in Ohio now 🫣 and it definitely does not rain like it does down in Florida. I miss thunderstorms.
Ohio gets huge tornadoes homie, be careful what you wish for.
I just love my fellow Texans! We have thick skin and huge hearts!
Thanks for posting this, Stan.
Now I need to look up Gary Taylor also.

I loved what I saw. I like watching these to listen to the rain and wind as well, and that wasn't happening here. The bit I saw looked good, though.
I live in Pasadena and that storm got bad QUICK
Very true, cool video.
Holey Moley Stan. We are glad you survived!!!

Wow. Cool. I never heard of derecho before this.
@@stanthereservoirrat5934 To clarify, derechos occur or have occurred in the Midwest. That's so wild to see one there in Houston.
@@stanthereservoirrat5934 One hit the DC area in 2012 and it was crazy.

I was driving as that storm crossed Houston funny enough I got home quicker than I normally do on a Thursday

I'm not a wimp but my wallet is. 😢
Tornado went right over our apartment building. Power is still out 4 days later.
My power came back on yesterday. Glad you are ok! It was wild.
That is truly the worst besides dying obviously! No power or a/c from May to November is brutal! 🙏🏼
