That sandwich maker is like the old school pie irons that you use over the fire. Fluffernutters are the best if you want to go the sweet route. Peanut butter and fluff, yummy! But pizza pockets were always a favorite for sure.

The trees that you showed with the pokey things on it, is called a hawthorn tree, I know this because we have them here in (Delaware County) Ohio.
Tree is a locust. The thorns are bad to get nailed by. Try burrito tortilla wrap for your pizza pockets.

I'm from northern Wisconsin originally, moved to Omaha 12 years ago just moved back to Wisco. You look, sound, and act like a friend of mine named Nick from Omaha! Lots of things you say..he said them too...snacky cakes made me laugh my but off! Love your channel and adventures! Nebraska's a great state with great people! Loved camping here- but my hearts in Wisco!
Great little pizza pockets. I have a quesadilla maker done something similar. Have a little sandwich thing like that for using on a campfire. Use the cheap square bread cut the crust off fill it with pie filling cherry or apple or whatever you like take them out and dust them with powdered sugar they're great The kids love them, so do I. Another nice getaway.

I did the same thing that you did at a camp ground & the ground was full. The other glampers looked at me like I was a bum & thought I was living out of my truck. I told them "No I live in Fla., I CAMP out of my truck." You could see their brain go tilt & it did not compute.

Two Hearted Ale is a pretty good find from a gas station (at least here). It's one of America's best IPAs.
You had me laughing making those little pizzas ozzin out the side but they sure looked good. Man that tree was nasty looking. We have lots of pokey things here in the AZ desert but nothing as deadly looking as that!

I believe that was a honey locust tree but I could be wrong. Great job making that pizza thing (calzone?) I'm gonna have to try that. I think throwing mozzarella and parmesan and ricotta cheese in there would be epic!

Hey Quady... you ever plan on filming a motorcycle camp trip? That would be fun to watch. I've done a couple camping trips on the bike but always had a support vehicle to bring the gear. Going to do a few solo bike trips this year on the old shovelhead. ✌
I plan on it, prior to 2015 when I put the shell on this truck all I did was motorcycle camp. I have some fun trips planned for this year.

I did a review of the half Hearted Ale which is the low calorie version of that. It wasn't great. The two Hearted isn't bad I enjoyed it. Plus a tall boy of anything above 7% is great lol
