Joan actually flew from Texas to Ottawa and back to Texas again in a 24 hour period just to perform this one song with Michael.

When I have tremors and shaking my hands, it is very difficult something to play (I play piano). I don´t understand how MJF can handl it... I admire him for it. He must have very powerful will to play - it is a love of music... :-)

Michael J. Fox is my spirit animal and my light of day. My everyday life is still roughly the same for now, but my inner world had completely transformed thanks to him. A limitless man. It's insane to see him like this knowing he's so sick. If he can do this in his condition, who the fuck am I? Incredible.

Wow, that was great! So cool of Joan to do this special gig for her buddy Michael. Sounded great. They played brother and sister in the movie ‘Light of Day,’ with Gena Rowlands as their Mom. Good movie! Lotsa rock and roll amidst the family drama. For someone who’s a singer/musician, Joan was great and very natural and believable in that movie.

I hope it gets released when the "Born In The USA" box set eventually gets released (you know a songwriter is good when the record label releases a box set based on a single album - it's happened already with "Born To Run," "Darkness" and "The River."). It has obviously turned into one his best live songs. It was played throughout most of the 1999/2000 reunion tour.
