fire as fuck, i just started my diy journey today, sewed and painted my first patch. Ngl it was a lot harder than i thought but i enjoyed it way more than i thought too. Thanks for the inspiration homie i hope my collection can b as big as urs one day. Heavily fuck with ur acab patches
I'm so glad to hear that, that's super awesome! A few of my acab/1312 patches came from punk with a cameras website if you wanna cop something like that.
I love the black bleached shirt, it works so well! Definitely gonna try to do something like that, im a metal head so newer to the punk scene but man this gives me so much inspiration
youtube videos like these are always really cool. I've been working on a battle jacket recently and intend to do more general diy clothes after I finish working on it. Thanks for the inspiration!
i'm on my way to making my first jacket, i've never sewed anything in my life, but i love this idea of customizing one's own clothes and accessories. My financial condition doesn't help much in buying clothes to cut, customize and do other fun little things, but I'm saving to be able to do it too; Collecting many practical customization ideas.
If you can even spare one shirt to cut up and some paint you can make a ton of patches that way! Even if you're not super great at painting (trust me I'm not either) there's a bunch of simple logos for things you like or even just text you could put!
these are really cool. ive just got into doing my own patches and my first jacket is coming along nicely so hopefully itll look decent enough by the time it gets cold again.
dude that collection is sick. i just started working on my jacket as of a month ago, made the mistake of using leather so its alot of extra work. got alot of inspo material for future referance here!
I suddenly found your video while I was scrolling youtube to find something that will inspire me. You have such a cool collection! I really like your crust pants!
Diy cloths and the punk subculture seem pritty cool. Nice colection. I've made a few patches and sew them on a jean jaket i dont wear and some lace on the pokets and rose accessories, now i love it. Ive done some stuff on other things but I Think I'll try more diy.
Nice video!!! I'm a goth, and lately I've been getting really into punk rock, I thrifted a jacket last week and I intend to paint over and put some patches in it. Loved to see your stuff, very inspiring!!!
Yeahhh I don't think TH-cam allows links in the comments but my bands are Vanity First, Agnosticism, and HA!LS and if ya follow me on instagram @iaminfactatoaster there's links to stuff
i love it! do you live in a warm climate? cause i can't wait for jacket-weather. Also, I like the sewing and the patches, ur making me want to make a video like this
I live in Canada but quite south so it's still too hot for jackets and crust pants from like early spring until October during the days. You definitely should!
I've been told if you use fabric paint your patches should be fine in the wash not sure about the dryer. I have washed my crust pants once in the wash when they got puke on them lmao. I turned them inside out and the machine was on like delicate or whatever it's called and then I dried them outside. I do know machines can totally destroy your floss if they're not on that setting though. Your best bet if you aren't sure is generally not washing them until you really have to and then doing it by letting it soak in a tub and hand washing (you can find videos of that online that will show you how)
Definitely in the bathtub soaking them in cool water. Then hand wash. And let air dry I usually use dry shampoo and I just murder my pants with a hole can when they smell real bad
