It's quite the opposite of rare. There are 1600 of them around the world, which makes it the most produced single engine flying boat ever. Which doesn't make it any less amazing, I love this aircraft

Ya, sorta, this one is one of the later one which has 6 seats and a crazy long endurance...so, ya, it's kinda rare. I too love this plane. I wish they never stopped making them. Markets can be fickle.

The price of Renegades usually speaks to their production date...unfortunately. 200k usd difference isn't unusual
