The Zoro scene in the trailer could be a after setting sail scene, where they're in the Merry going after Nami and the unity of the crew is really in the lowest point and Zoro says that to reinforce his loyalty to Luffy in a dire moment. The "I will never lose again" could be in another scene

12:05 you did it again Liam. Thank you for shutting down Manu's expectation of the little things/nitpicks he found in the trailer. That's one. I'm expecting more.
I’m way more ok with people like crocodile or Doflamingo being normal sized than I am with Arlong. Just because the whole point of Arlong is how much more physically dominant fishmen are supposed to be than humans. It’s a central piece of his character. Heck, I’d rather Whitebeard just be like, NBA player sized, than Arlong be the size he is. Not to be TOO negative, cause I don’t think he looks terrible and if his performance is good enough I can probably look past it, but Arlong is one of the most important characters to emphasize the size difference for.
@@Mohamad-m7md figured you may have just been talking from a character perspective or something. I’m willing to see how it goes though. He doesn’t look great (or even good), but I’m not gonna completely discount him before the show even comes out. Nearly everything else in the show looks great or at least good enough, so maybe they’ll pull it off. Who knows?
That serves the idea that Fishman are tougher _better_ . Arlong's not a particularly big dude, but then when he takes hits better than anybody else Luffy's fought (save Buggy for Devil Fruit related reasons) it sells that any Fishman would be more formidable than a human. And I honestly never found manga/anime Arlong visually intimidating anyway.
As for Zoro being cool and stoic, of course being stoic is his baseline characteristic, but he should still laugh and joke with Luffy, thats really important, especially to emphasize his getting more serious later. But the point you're making if he's not in tears at his oath, agreed, that's a bad move. His breaking down into tears, both for his promise to Luffy and to Kuina, shows how that moment, those promises, were more important than his pride.
we haven't seen anything from the teasers but on interviews and other stuff, Mackenyu and Iñaki's relationship is so Zoro and Luffy coded lol hopefully they portray it on the series, Mackenyu is still stoic but more playful and joyful when looking at Iñaki
I think they need to take the gamble with a more "normally" proportioned Arlong. They can't keep up with source-accurate proportions as the show progresses - they need to bank on strong performances creating the necessary gravitas. Forced perspective can work when you don't have to do action scenes between the big and small folk. They would be severely limited in what they could do for the fight scenes going that route
Yeah, imagine Whitebeard and Katakuri in live action. Forced perspective can only do so much. It would make way more sense if all of the characters are human sized or just slightly larger.
I think he could act it just fine. But he's too famous so it'll ruin immersion. Jack black with all his acting skill BUT magically no one knows he existed would prob be able to do find with the right costume
@@Zalied Jack Black’s acting skill isn’t the problem, it’s height and body type. With all the insane amount of talent and charisma he has, he’s still short and somewhere between dad bod and overweight.
@jaredskintges5245 that's going to be a major issue with the shoenin general as is. Everyone's HUGE in one piece and luffy is smaller than all of them. Yet as we see with arlong he's tiny. The casting for like the admirals white beard kaido and stuff if it ever got that far is going to be hard
With some scenes like Mihawk vs Zorro having no crowds sort of bothers me. Maybe its different in the actual scene but like no one was there to witness it takes away one of the story telling ways Oda sells a scene with I think. The reactions of the bystanders are part of it what makes it fun for me. I hope they included it in.
Shanks looks amazing! I really hope he says the "put your life on the line" line. For those of you who have never heard of Peter Gadiot who is playing Shanks, he was in Queen of the South. I highly recommend it. He is fantastic in it. And Buggy looks great too. The dude playing him was in Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. I don’t know who is playing Roger but he might as well be Johnny Depp. You can even see Dragon in his green cloak on the right in that shot looking up at the execution platform at the trailer's 7 second mark. And I think we see Bellemere too. I think she is the female Marine in dark blue we see running at 26 seconds into the trailer. I do hope we get references to characters we know were there. Like I hope we see a cigar in an alleyway, referencing Crocodile. It looks like Arlong is at Buggy's big top and Baratie. I'm going to guess that he is tracking Nami and he catches up to them at Baratie. Nami saying “You’ll have the excuse them, they're idiots" is to Arlong and she is trying to spare their lives as she betrays them. I was wondering if there were going to reference to things that aren't referenced in the original East Blue manga like the other supernovas & it looked like I was right because we see a reference to Foxy, Bellamy & Cavendish. They weren’t referenced in the original East Blue Saga. My only complaints are that I’m not sure if I'm a fan of Luffy naming the crew himself. He doesn’t think that far ahead. Unless they give him a line where he makes it clear he came up with it on the spot. The other thing that we are two trailers in and all Usopp has said “hit the deck”. It’s probably not on purpose but he’s a main character.
Roger turned himself in because he was dying, i think when they show him in flashbacks he'll look and act like we picture him. I won't judge him until i see him away from death's door.
I think people expect the characters to act the way you do now 1,000 episodes in as opposed to how they were in the East Blue, Zoro is a lot more standoffish and stoic in the beginning, and they could lean into that as a way to show him open up little by little throughout the season to give him a character arc to progress through, plus we've seen maybe 1 minute all together of Mackenyu's Zoro, reserve judgement
@@Mohamad-m7md look at his interactions with Nami, throughout the East Blue, he never fully trusted her, there was this wall he put up that crumbled after the Mihawk fight, there's a noticeable difference in his character and his interactions with luffy and the crew after that moment, for this live action there has to be a clear arc for the character to take and arrive at by the end of the season, they could up the stoicism for the early season and make his opening up into an arc
@@MEtALCoRE452 His interactions with Nami isn’t all of his screen time he still laughed a lot more than post time skip just rewatch the series before you make claims next time
@@Mohamad-m7md yes he did laugh way more than post timeskip, but pre timeskip is way more than just East Blue, and we've seen footage of Zoro smiling and laughing in this season so that will be there but you attempt to pick apart every part of argument except for the 1 part that I've had there from the beginning which is the possibility that they lean into the stoicism aspect of Zoro more to provide him with a more pronounced character arc this season
@@MEtALCoRE452 I know what you’re saying but I’m just correcting you on what you said You said “ zoro in the beginning was a lot more stoic “ and that’s false most montages of zoro laughing in the anime are from east blue just search it But he actually becomes more stoic post time skip And a side note I think post time skip zoro is really boring Pre time skip was peak zoro
When you look up Arlong's actor, he doesn't have a super small build, the head is just super big. Also he DOES smile in the trailer against Luffy but it's super brief.
22:35 no Liam. We don't get what he mean. Manu knows that the Arlong park is a reference to the Sabaody Archipelago's park yet he still thinks it's shouldn't be. Lol
Arlong is indeed not that great but on the other side I guess they have to make him "simple" bc of how many fishmen they have to replicate in the future. Imagine how many costums etc.
In the anime there are moments where characters bulk up when they fight (Zoro's technique - Twin Gorillas?). Hopefully Arlong has a fighting form where he bulks in battle?
As a Sanji stan I'm pretty satisfied with the actor playing Sanji (so far). He seems pretty perfect and he did a really good job showing how smitten he was with Nami in the trailer. It was quick but I felt pretty reassured by it. The actor playing Luffy is doing a pretty good job so far. Definitely nailing the energy. Same with Nami, so far, she seems fine. Ussop's barely in the trailer so who knows if he's any good or not lol. As for Zoro, at first, I was disappointed in who they cast as Zoro, just because his face felt too pretty lol, but he seems ok so far. It'll be interesting to see what changes will be made to how they portray the characters if they get a second season.
The actor playing Zoro also played Kenshin in the live action movie for Rurouin Kenshin, and he did super well there to me. I don't see him not being great as Zoro, but I'm hopeful and escatic
Take this with a grain of salt someone watched it early and said Ussop tries to act more cool than what we see in the anime of him being a coward at times.
9:30 that's cap. Manu, stop trying to say that you're positive when you have a shitload of nitpicks from the trailer. Maybe try to watch your own video, I don't think you know what you said in your "breakdown/analysis/reaction" video of the official trailer.
I love the idea of arlong coming to baratie to take nami and beating the straw hats in rd 1. I really hope its the route of sophies point where the straw hats are all exhausted after fighting krieg. Either way, i really hope we still get the sanji vs gin friendship/showdown.

grandline review might be thinking about the voice actor for the english dub of one piece where im sure the voice actor for sanji went for the role of zoro but got cast as sanji and made a joke rivaly between the actors as well
I think this will be One Piece but “another Universe” kind of like Marvel has … cause the Manga-Anime isn’t perfect 1-1 with how characters are or anything so it’s One Piece but if things were different like Don Kreig didn’t show up or anything … kind of giving a parallel perspective
Im hesitant on the big Zoro declaration scene too, but we haven’t even seen the actual scene yet lol we saw a 2 second clip. I’ll reserve judgment until we actually have full context and see the actual performance
I really don't know what Sophie is laughing about but you DO NOT use CHILI POWDER to make kimchi. Unless chili powder is just completely different in Aussie then Korea/America. I think she means red pepper powder aka gochugaru, which is definitely not chili powder lol
Agree it will be underwhelming if that's just how zoro scene going to be. But there still hope! Since mackenyu himself said the last time he cried when he acts as zoro
Absolutely loving this podcast. Would enjoy hearing your opinions on Spider-Man Into the Spider-verse and Across the Spider-verse. The former was outstanding and the latter was a masterclass in animation and storytelling.
I don’t think the scene that zoro talked about luffy being his captain till the end cuz he should have just got slashed y mihawk and in the scene we get he already has bandages
Never forget, that it´s a trailer. It´s quite possible, that we only get raw/first cuts or even false scenes, in a manner like marvel with their trailers. I myself didn´t like this emotionless approach Nami showed in the trailer, but yet again, perhaps some out of context taken scenes, or just a method to really show Namis real transformation from a cold mission/money driven person to post Arlong defeat where she is finally emotional
I feel like Liam's really trying to be nice by saying he gets Manu's takes. Especially the way Manu interprets Zoro. He looked cool for most of the fans who received this trailer. I don't know where he's coming from. This is a typical original source material fan who criticizes the live action down to every bit of detail. Which I understand. But there's Liam, Sophie, Tekking, BDA Law, and many more who have dedicated a good amount of their lives for One Piece, yet somehow they are more understanding and open-minded about the trailer and the live action. So now I'm confused about all of Manu's takes.
I'll share something I shared on Ohara's video, verbatim " Thanks for sharing this, as a Zoro fanboy myself, I also found it Zoro's character or the dialogues he get a bit off- 1. Zoro in the live action seems like someone who cares too much about the impression he gives and would sneer at Luffy's antics. Also He seems more tame. But in the anime/manga he receives the moniker marimo(which literally means wild grass)- that might be because of his hair, but it's also because of his wild and savage nature- the type who would be accepting for almost anything & does not care about pretenses. 2. The dailogue- 'You're my captain from now until the end'. vs (paraphrasing) "Until I challenge mihawk again, I won't be defeated, is that understood-pirate king" Are very different. The latter says atleast 4 things at once- A. That he is frustrated at his own weakness, and does not want to lose again. B. He reaffirms his own resolve for the undertaking to become the best swordsman(his dream). C. He reaffirms his loyalty to Luffy. D. He shows his unshakeable belief in Luffy's supposed outlandish dream of becoming King of the Pirates. The former only says C. and is a far inferior line than the original. Maybe it's because the trailer can't fit in anything, so it is coming out different, but if these things really are departures from the original material as I suspect them to be, they need to justify these changes. I don't mind a different Zoro, but I would mind a worse off Zoro. " Also being a long time fan does not mean they can have a commensurate level of appreciation for all characters. Most of the time, people end up having a deep understanding of certain characters and shallow understanding of others. Regardless, I think we can agree that the trailer does seem enticing. But you need to understand the deeper we love the story, the more critical we might get. It comes from a place of love. The majority of the fans(I would guess Manu as well) want the show to succeed, or atleast get a few more seasons to prove itself, since we want the non-anime/manga audience to experience something we hold near and dear to our heart. But unnecessary bastardization of cherished characters(which could have easily been prevented) is not something we want to see. But again it's just a trailer, and as let's oda sensei has said-(paraphrasing) let's 'drink some tea and wait for the show to come' before coming to conclusions.
@@rishabhsahlot7481 point taken. He said that his problem are not the actors but how they portray the characters. I have seen Macken so much that I have so much respect for him as an actor. And since Manu have never seen him I don't think he has the same level of respect for Mackenyu. Which I can understand. Macken portraying Zoro to me is the level of portrayal I need him to be as Zoro. Well, as far as I have seen from the teaser and trailer. He's very assertive, doesn't give a fuck about anyone would say, obviously have trust issues, observative, and he always have his guard up. Because Zoro aside from him having a sword on his mouth his reactions, the way he interact with the strawhats and in every situation he's in, from the manga and anime is what it's like in the real world, second to Usopp. And as I have said in my other comments in this video, as well as on Manu's video, Zoro is a serious character from the moment we saw him in the manga/anime up until today. The only reason he's funny sometimes is because of the jokes, the gag, the way other people would respond to his actions and his sense of direction or lack thereof. And he's taking life seriously, not because it's not fun to live, but because they live inside a dangerous world. From the moment he lost to Mihawk, his seriousness change from 50 to 75, and when they were separated in Sabaody, when Ace died and he can't be with Luffy since his stuck on an island, and can't do anything about it, the level went to a 100. As for the dialogue, as we all have been saying, not everything from the manga can be delivered the same way in live action, because it will not work. They have to change it somehow that it's true to the character, and that will also work in live action. For that specific line that Macken delivered, if it's the same as his dialogue when Zoro lost to Mihawk, I need more, and I need to understand why he said that. If it's not, and it is a completely different line, then I have nothing to say. So let me ask you, Mackenyu's lines from the trailer, is it a complete and unnecessary bastardization of how Zoro is from the anime/manga? If it is, that's a very big reaction from a 3 minute video. I have been a fan for a long time, maybe even longer than Manu has, I'm not saying that he shouldn't be critical about it, I'm not saying that the other fans should not be critical about it, all I'm saying is that we should be more understanding, and have an open mind about this live action. Not because we don't love/like one piece, or not because these criticisms didn't come from a place of love, but because this is a different way of how they're gonna tell us what One Piece is. IT WILL BE DIFFERENT. Whether you like it or not. The dialogues will not be same, some characterization will not be the same, the way they tell us the story will not be the same. As long as the essence and the message of what One Piece is and its characters should be, then that's the only thing that matters.
@@ultimatechitoyeah Mackenyu as Zoro is so cool. If live action Zoro doesn't show any bombastic, goofy over the top or argumentative moments then the blame is all on the writing, script and direction. Not in any way Mackenyu's acting. Either way Manu takes on Taz playing Zoro is really odd.
Omg I did the deep voice thing the first time I ordered pizza! 😂 I heard the person that took the call whisper they weren't sure if I was pranking or not rotfl! Pizza came and everything turned out all right. But I realized my voice didn't sound as convincing to others as it sounded to me
Thanks for the discussion, guys. Personally, I’m usually fine with changes in adaptions, as long as they keep the spirit of the original. And because it’s more exciting to watch new takes than a 1:1 copy. And since the trailer came out, I’ve been wearing my rose-tinted glasses anyway, so I don’t agree with some of your points. Especially, I’d like to defend Zoro’s “you’re my captain” line here, because for me it was one of the highlights of the new additions. My first reaction was literally: aawww, our loyal Zoro… I don’t think the delivery was flat at all. Yes, it was quiet, but emotional stuff doesn’t always have to be loud and in your face to be impactful. As for Zoro’s real oath, yes, it absolutely should be in the show, I’m just not that worried that we didn’t see it in the trailer. The trailer is about Luffy‘s way from being a hopeful kid who recruits news coos to becoming a real captain who protects his loyal crew. The trailer’s story is exclusively about Luffy’s dream, while we don’t know anything about his crew members yet, apart from their fighting specialties (or map specialties in Nami’s case). That’s why it makes sense here that Zoro is talking about “my captain”, not about his own goals. In this case, his original oath would disrupt the trailer's storyline, plus it would only confuse all the people who don’t know One Piece yet. If the swordsman oath is still in the show but tone was changed, I wouldn't blame Mackenyu (yet). In the latter half of the Rurouni Kenshin Final movie, he has no problem going all in with the emotional breakdowns, including the ugly crying while bleeding (and sometimes puking…) all over the place. If they really toned it down, I suspect (like Liam said) they did it because otherwise it simply wouldn’t work for the live action. I mean, a real person, who was just cut half open and who’s bawling loudly and shouting things at the sky might just look too unrealistic and ridiculous. Ok, that got a bit long...
The Roger in the trailer looks very similar to what Roger looked like in the beginning of the anime. The animation made him look very very weird so it was very on point . That's my opinion
15:16 see. Liam's asking for Manu to join in for having and enjoy good things from the trailer. When he said I am positive about the trailer. And then watched his videos, you know he's lying to himself.
What if they’re keeping Arlong “getting bigger” for when he goes in berserk mode? I remember he went feral against them. What if they make his body bigger then?
I felt like the plastic rocks Manu is talking about are a purposeful choice because Arlong Park is supposed to be a cheap imitation of Sabaody. I feel like it's just supposed to be hollow and empty like Arlong's morals
The Gol D. Roger in the trailer looks straight up like Roger from Rogersbase to me no question lmao just give him that mustache and clothes then bam plus I think the full trailer had way more hits than misses to me but we'll see later this month 😮
28:22 so are we still going to hear Liam's point? It's all Manu now. Manu's going to say that Zoro looks serious. Lol He is a serious character to begin with. In the original source, he was just associated with Luffy that's why he's part of tye comedic moments. But if you strip down the goofiness, Zoro is a serious character with a serious goal.
Manu, I am not sure you have understood how Oda portrays Straw Hats in contrast to the 'Pirates'. Straw Hats feels more like adventurers than pirates and that's what makes them protagonists that we love to follow. So, the scene where Straw Hats are supposed to be clean is because they are the only clean part of the entire One Piece World. Pirates are dirty, the World government is also dirty and even the Navy to some extent is dirty. To be more specific, Straw Hats are the theme that represents the positivity of this world. If they are portrayed as dirty, isn't it just another Pirates of the Caribbean?

That serves the idea that Fishman are tougher _better_ . Arlong's not a particularly big dude, but then when he takes hits better than anybody else Luffy's fought (save Buggy for Devil Fruit related reasons) it sells that any Fishman would be more formidable than a human.
And I honestly never found manga/anime Arlong visually intimidating anyway.
I love sophies reaction when manu is asking about chiliflakes in kimchi
Would love to see the three of you do live reactions to episodes 1070 and 1071 one of these weeks
Yess
That's really a great idea
Manu’s description of the physical appearance of kimchi is disturbingly accurate. Love it.
@@cottoncandylover666 yeah. Hopefully these concerns are unfounded. I love the way the cast seems to mesh, so I hope these scenes are done justice
Thank you for saying this, the size argument baffles me. These are real actors with real life bodies
@@yosos2 yeah, and nobody wanted them that way, another moronic argument to justify an unnecessary change that will only annoy the hardcore fans
@@TonyTonyChainsaw wow imagine being this sensitive lol cry about it
Some of y’all have some weird nitpicks but to each his own. 😂 Arlong is my biggest gripe but really looking forward to it.
Zoro is horrible to me
Jack Black would have been a terrible Rodger
Anime Buggy voice has a Squeal often. I felt the "Chop Chop" was very good adaptation. Since Buggy thinks hes intimidating
Arlong does smile in the trailer and i think it look pretty good in that shot. Its when hes confronting luffy at the end
They might be on the roof of the Baratie watching the fight which I believe it was like that in the anime.
Not true east blue Zoro was a goofball post time skip zoro is way more stoic
@@Mohamad-m7md look at his interactions with Nami, throughout the East Blue, he never fully trusted her, there was this wall he put up that crumbled after the Mihawk fight, there's a noticeable difference in his character and his interactions with luffy and the crew after that moment, for this live action there has to be a clear arc for the character to take and arrive at by the end of the season, they could up the stoicism for the early season and make his opening up into an arc
@@MEtALCoRE452
His interactions with Nami isn’t all of his screen time he still laughed a lot more than post time skip just rewatch the series before you make claims next time
@@Mohamad-m7md yes he did laugh way more than post timeskip, but pre timeskip is way more than just East Blue, and we've seen footage of Zoro smiling and laughing in this season so that will be there but you attempt to pick apart every part of argument except for the 1 part that I've had there from the beginning which is the possibility that they lean into the stoicism aspect of Zoro more to provide him with a more pronounced character arc this season
@@MEtALCoRE452
I know what you’re saying but I’m just correcting you on what you said
You said “ zoro in the beginning was a lot more stoic “ and that’s false most montages of zoro laughing in the anime are from east blue just search it
But he actually becomes more stoic post time skip
And a side note I think post time skip zoro is really boring
Pre time skip was peak zoro
When you look up Arlong's actor, he doesn't have a super small build, the head is just super big. Also he DOES smile in the trailer against Luffy but it's super brief.
I fell in love with one piece after the conclusion of the Captain Morgan fight.
When/if the opla comes out and is good Sophie needs to take a victory lap over her pessimistic co hosts.
And if it’s bad you pessimists can say “told you so” and nobody really wins. I’ll take Sophie’s optimism any day.
42:53 actually during the "I'm gonna kick your ass" scene he does the smiling
42:53 He does Actually Gives a Grin when Luffy is talking back to him ** Nobody Misses with my crew**
you can see it
22:35 no Liam. We don't get what he mean. Manu knows that the Arlong park is a reference to the Sabaody Archipelago's park yet he still thinks it's shouldn't be. Lol
"YOU BELIEVE IN THE FUCKING SKY ISLAND?" I spit out my coffee during that. 🤣
Arlong is indeed not that great but on the other side I guess they have to make him "simple" bc of how many fishmen they have to replicate in the future. Imagine how many costums etc.
Great video as always
I don't see him not being great as Zoro, but I'm hopeful and escatic
zoro has always been the prettiest and I will FIGHT for that lol
@@cottoncandylover666 I've always found him ore handsome than pretty lol
Take this with a grain of salt someone watched it early and said Ussop tries to act more cool than what we see in the anime of him being a coward at times.
Yeah I agree with zoro expect for the fact that I still don’t like him
9:30 that's cap.

Front of Shanks looks like Dad. Back of Shanks, facing down the Sea King, looked Daddy af tho
waiting to see what the do with dory and broggy 😂😂
Jack black as roger is definitely worst so glad that wasn’t true I feel the actor they have is just fine
do you think they'll add bartolomeo in the crowd at luffy's execution in loguetown?
I really don't know what Sophie is laughing about but you DO NOT use CHILI POWDER to make kimchi. Unless chili powder is just completely different in Aussie then Korea/America. I think she means red pepper powder aka gochugaru, which is definitely not chili powder lol
22:06 ? where did you saw LogueTown ? on some pictures?
Agree it will be underwhelming if that's just how zoro scene going to be. But there still hope! Since mackenyu himself said the last time he cried when he acts as zoro
just curious if you guys are planning on putting your podcast on google podcasts
Liam as Bellamy would be kool XD
Absolutely loving this podcast. Would enjoy hearing your opinions on Spider-Man Into the Spider-verse and Across the Spider-verse. The former was outstanding and the latter was a masterclass in animation and storytelling.
Common Bluenana W
I'll share something I shared on Ohara's video, verbatim
"
Thanks for sharing this, as a Zoro fanboy myself, I also found it Zoro's character or the dialogues he get a bit off-
2. The dailogue-
'You're my captain from now until the end'.
vs (paraphrasing) "Until I challenge mihawk again, I won't be defeated, is that understood-pirate king"
Are very different.
The latter says atleast 4 things at once-
"
Also being a long time fan does not mean they can have a commensurate level of appreciation for all characters.
Either way Manu takes on Taz playing Zoro is really odd.
so the music thing after the episode of 1070 the sound is very similar to the drums of liberation.

Look at a real saw tooth sharks nose and then look at arlong. Perfect. He just needs… bigness… 😅
Oof I can't unsee the arlong comparison now. And there's not enough time to change that in post...
The News Coo scene is in the anime.
Oh I saw this just posted and I had to click this IMMEDIATELY
I feel like the only thing that’s throwing off the way roger looks is that his mustache just isn’t big enough 😂
What if they’re keeping Arlong “getting bigger” for when he goes in berserk mode? I remember he went feral against them. What if they make his body bigger then?

I’m excited for season 7 of the live action in 10 years where Coby’s actor comes back buff Taylor Lautner style
Another thing off about Mihawks sword Yoru is that it isn't a black blade
I felt like the plastic rocks Manu is talking about are a purposeful choice because Arlong Park is supposed to be a cheap imitation of Sabaody. I feel like it's just supposed to be hollow and empty like Arlong's morals
“If only there was a submarine team available” 💀💀💀😂
Here we go again. Liam's gonna slap Manu's face for expecting a 1:1 remake of One Piece Live Action. Oh I can't wait.

Arlong does have a smile in the trailer
28:22 so are we still going to hear Liam's point? It's all Manu now.
Manu's going to say that Zoro looks serious. Lol
He is a serious character to begin with. In the original source, he was just associated with Luffy that's why he's part of tye comedic moments. But if you strip down the goofiness, Zoro is a serious character with a serious goal.
Red banana has decided Tiam should be a thing lmao
I bet that VFX and colour grading is not finished yet

Oh, so the difference in either something is One Piece or the Pirates of the Caribbean is the dirt.
I think the swords, especially mihawks, were designed and made for the show by Nerf.
