Intern, you could make a refueling spacestation with docking ports in low kerbin orbit! Also your apoapsis and periapsis are displayed underneath the navball, once ap is above 70km your in space, during your acend you can cut your engines once your ap reaches about 80km and wait untill you're properly in space to use the rest of your delta v, it's way more efficient that way. Love your videos!
At 11:57 while you were getting into it around "mars" your trajectory line at one point spirals inward landing on the planet, meaning, you could totally land some kerbals on Mars with that same rocket.
Quick tip: Doing interplanetary transfers you should wait until at a kerbin-duna transfer window (you can find a diagram of what this looks like online) - if you do chose to first exit kerbin as you did, but can't get a viable burn to duna from that point, simply warp until the two planets intercept towards your AP and then plan a burn - which would save thousands of delta-v as opposed to brute forcing it.
@@glitched1544 Yes, just like Mars. If you look at something like the Mun, you’ll see a hard border between the Mun, and space, whereas with Kerbin and Duna, it’s fuzzier. That fuzzy outline is the atmosphere
Intern is like my favourite youtuber in terms of playing new games. Hello Intern, the reason those additional controls parts you added didn't work was because you need to turn RCS control on to use them, you didn't need to disable them, it's on the Nav ball. Also you may want to double check what fuel they use. In KSP1 two types used either Mono propellant or fuel & oxidizer but now that there's more fuels in KSP2 idk what the second type uses.
I can’t even imagine how games like this would be like in 20 years. We already have game engines that look pretty much indistinguishable from real life. A space sim like this on one of those super powerful engines would be wild.
I saw a really close orbit come up using Ike as a gravity sling but he zoomed to fast past it, so I went and rewatched at half speed. It sounds like intern is drunk and its hilarious
hey intern! to make a maneuver to orbit around kerbin, make sure to place the maneuver right at the highest point then pull prograde until its a circle. hope this helps to get a more circle orbit. love your vids, keep it up!
Hey Intern, when doing burns for maneuver nodes, try splitting your burn so that you do half of your burn before the node and half after. That way will make your burn more accurate.
Once your apoapsis (highest point in orbit is above 70km i usually go to 80 or 100k then wait until you get about 20 seconds away from it and point almost exactly to the horizon and watch the time to apoapsis and if it gets too close to 0 then tilt up more to raise it.
So Intern made a rocket that can orbit Kerbin, which is pretty normal & basic. So Intern used the same rocket and same satellite to orbit Duna. (Around more than double the distance.) How can you perfect something so perfect !?
So you know the sun shines light against half of the rocket, so that side is visible, but the other half of the rocket is pitch black and dark and there’s no light shining on it so that’s why it disappears I don’t know if that answered your question, but I try to help
Interesting watching someone with no knowledge of orbital mechanics trying to get an interplanetary encounter. Good job on actually making it to Duna orbit.
You should watch a KSP tutorial on getting to other planets to make this less painful next time. Also, just because a planet look like one of ours, the mass, gravity, landscape and stars-system are different. So please call them what they are, Kerbin and Duna.
this rocket needs batteries and solar panels and reaction wheels as well as a SaS.........and the satelight needs batteries, reaction wheel or SaS and some manuverig trusters and a bit of fuel..
I don’t understand your question but, what I think you’re trying to say is is the process of getting the satellite to another inner planetary body, the same as getting a kerbal there yes, yes it is same thing with real life but this video isn’t the most efficient way to get there.

Yea
‘Gravity Well’ and ‘Sphere of Influence’ are both correct terms, however scientists at space agencies tend to use ‘Sphere of Influence’ more.
At 11:57 while you were getting into it around "mars" your trajectory line at one point spirals inward landing on the planet, meaning, you could totally land some kerbals on Mars with that same rocket.
Landing on some planet would be cool, maybe even better if you return rocket to Earth.
Yeah but this game is really glitchy and the kraken will most likely destroy your craft before you arrive.
@@Trexdeal its not glitchy enough to not be able to land on another planet tho lmao
@@Stormento_it is possible to land but is just hard
@@IfpR yup, i agree. although it was pretty challenging in ksp1 as well

Fun fact: My space program is under 3.5 yrs old and i already visited every planet and moon!🤴
Great job: Up next a Kerbal to the surface of Duna. You can use parachutes on duna, and probably could just put jeb in a drop pod

If you want the maneuver nodes to be more acurate you should burn at half of the burn time.
Also, use LOTS to reaction wheels or RCS with monopropellant to control your ship without wasting fuel

but if the engine doesnt provide alot of thrust, after making the maneuver, move it back if needed to make a circle.

Hey Intern, when doing burns for maneuver nodes, try splitting your burn so that you do half of your burn before the node and half after. That way will make your burn more accurate.

This is definitely your game, loving this!
"normal" is a way of saying an object/vector/surface is perpendicular to a reference vector/surface/plane
What a feat, thank god I found your channel too intern
Humans of Mars
Leave a kerbal stranded on an alien planet and then launch a rescue mission to bring them home.
Ain’t gonna lie I had to do that and they also died on reentry 😐
Make a rocket to Neptune and make it return back to earth
delta v is correct 😊i’m so proud you’ve come so far
That was freakin awesome
Good job intern 🎉
This was fun. Bread loves space stuff too.
Space is crazy sometimes
Intern, you're the first TH-camr to put a WiFi satellite around Mars in KSP 2! 👏 🎉
Amazing vids and thank you for uploading so frequently
Cool love your videos
firing your engine will surge your power back to full thats one reason you gain control when you thrust, cant wait to see you try docking lol
Only works with certain engines btw

Putting a big space station in Earths orbit
Yay the man uploaded and its a follow on yaaay
Seen you for a while on, Blitz's channel. I like your content. Speaking of which... Nice nod to, Um Actually. I recently came across it myself.
Awesome video.
make a space station to refuel and dock different rockets to use in later missons
Nice orbit😄
there is no friction in space
Can hou put a lander on mars (or duna)
How do you set maneuver point?
Space flight simulator: it is spere of influence
0:03 it is NOT earth it IS kerbin!
You should set one up on EVERY planet

You need to explore the MoHole
Also make a fuel spacestation
can you chang the icon of the satilight in the tracking station to a satilight icon?
No
Hello mr intern
ayo you orbit smoothly, I AM OLD I GO UP TURN AND GO AGAIN ITS BETTER
you could put satellites around all planets and the sun and all moons
Make an extremely large space station
You need to beat blitz in the land speed record
This guy doesnt know crap about orbital mechanics but still get farther than most players.
Intern, You are great at ksp 2 but how to I use the encounter system?
this rocket needs batteries and solar panels and reaction wheels as well as a SaS.........and the satelight needs batteries, reaction wheel or SaS and some manuverig trusters and a bit of fuel..
he should try and launch a ISS into orbit
You should land a river on pluto
You should try making an Eve rover while re-entry heating still isn't a thing. Just attach parachutes and you'll land fine!
Watch the devs add it right now so this wont work...
Wait, heating during re-entry isn't in the game yet?
I got 36 satellites into orbit around Duna.
Whoa 😮
Do quicksaves exist this early in early access? If so then try it
quicksaves exist yes.
but regular saving is messed up.
so when you return to your campaign, it might be corrupt

Won't you attain an orbit quicker if you burned on exact apogee at 8-9000 metres? Just suggesting and possibly asking😅
could you try to land on eeloo please
can you please put the playlist in order. im good but for the future viewers please

Very agreeable
Go to I.O. !
Hi
Make a satellite around the SUN
Are those functional satellites?
Yep
It is game, but satellites are still used for the same thing.
why does ur maneuver planner look so different is that a mod
First, by the way how are you doing Intern?
You can try and land on the moon
Hi @InternDotGif and everyone else!
Go to planet Jupiter
What do satellite’s even do
You should land a rover
Do you have infinite fuel on because when you burn to approach duna your fuel meter is 0 tuns but you still burn 🤨
locate pyramid
Now land on da moon (mun) and make something orbit the mun (i don't care what what you will put on a mun orbit
Could you go to another solar system intern
interstellar is not in the game yet
