Thank you so much! I’m a children’s pastor and I’m going to make my own puppets soon. You are very talented and your instructions are very clear. God Bless!
I would love to see a video of all of your puppets or maybe ranking them! I love the esthetic of your builds so much! I absolutely love you puppets! Thanks for all of your help!
For poking holes in the fabric, instead of an awl or knife, I keep a cheap soldering iron on hand. Not only does it make a hole nicely, but it also melts the edges to stop it fraying. It works beautifully on nylon fleece, although I haven’t tried it on fur. Yet. Big hat tip to B.J. Guyer for showing me that trick!
Great video as usual. Thank you for sharing your talents. Question... Would you recommend using the plastic lid as you do with the mouth-plate to make the brackets?
Hey! I would not recommend the plastic lid for the eye-brackets. I wouldn’t trust them long term given the stress they would encounter that isn’t present when used as a mouthplate.
(with the fan going and the door shut), i have been able to use pure hot water in my bathub to shape pvc. but if heating up any type of plastic. esp PVC. do it outside or in a very well ventilated area. AND using some kind of respirator that is rated for protecting from vapours/fumes. not a paper or cloth mask. please, fellow makers. I use a mask rated for pest control chemicals/vapours. cant recall the terms the poisons that come off heated PVC are toxic. for the size Adam is working with in his shop, it can be ok. But I work with so many paints, sealants and pvc sometimes the same day. i dont want to risk it. same with the rubber cement really? but those jars/bottles are covered with warnings already
what about plexiglass? My plan is to cut a few copies. In chip board and glue them together to be thick enough, make a silicon mold and cast in resin. The pipe thing seems complicated.
@@PuppetNerd they come in at different thicknesses. You also have to watch because some are made out of cheap plastic but there are some that are better plastic that a scroll saw passes through them like butter. Lol I use them also for some mechs depending on the part.

because I plan on building my own fraggle puppet.
Please show us all of your puppets like do a puppet review or like tell us why you built them
I wonder if 3d printing could be a good resource for doing some parts like this
That’s very nice I love your videos Mr. Kreutinger

What if you *want* them to wiggle for a more crazy type character

Where on earth are you finding schedule 20 PVC? I can’t come up with anything under schedule 40 around here because it isn’t up to code.

Question: do you sell those brackets that you made for puppet builders? And maybe you could as that would be really helpful. Thanks.
I don’t think he sells them but I know a few people who do
@@rorymcghie5254 Cool, do you have a website or something?

Could you Teach us to make an alien puppet!!!
Can you do tutorial on puppet hats
Hi adam!
Hello
Instead of PVC you can get a plastic cutting board at a Dollar Store and using a scroll saw or hand saw you can cut the size you need.
I think the cutting boards are kinda thick aren’t they?

One suggestion. If you or a friend have a cat, Tidy Cat Litter plastic buckets.
say Adam can you make a Alligator Puppet with Blinky Eyes
Do a video on sack puppets not a 2 hour live stream
