    Thanks for watching! Let me know below if you’ve tried this epoxy or something similar before.

    First, Thank You for your service! Second, glad it has worked out after a year. I am restoring one for my use and was thinking of the epoxy route. I will do it now.

    Thanks for your video. I just finished my new trailer floor 7x16. I started with a 1 car garage kit but ran out. You need the 2.5 kit and I opted for the clear coat on top to make it thicker and more durable. If you want it to be perfect you should do a first coat hold the chips then do a second coat with heavy chips then hit it with a top coat with the anti-skid. Cheers

      That's awesome. Sounds like yours turned our really nice. Thanks for those tips. The clear coat sounds like the way to go

      The one car kit won’t finish a 7x16 floor? How? Did you spill some?

      1 car garage kit wasn’t enough?

    I’ve just purchased a new 6x12’ trailer to haul 2 x motorcycles and 2 bicycles behind our RV. I wasn’t going to coat the floor, but seeing your original and now the 1 year update, I’ll going to apply the epoxy paint to gather floor and off white paint on the walls. Your video’s are awesome.

      Congrats on the new trailer! I'm always glad I coated it. I'm glad the video could help!

    It does look incredible. I love trailers. I mean, I really do. They are so useful. And simple. And they don't break down randomly like a motor vehicle. Glad the floor has not cracked as previous video commenters lamented. When I read those, my heart sank. If your motorbike is not cracking the center, then it should be good. Maybe the success lies in your excellent and careful preparation. Like most successful projects. : )

    Thanks for the 1-year update! I always was wondering how that stuff holds up!

    Watching your first video inspired me to use the epoxy on my conversion as well. This one year update confirms I made the right choice. I’m a few weeks from painting, but I have the cans of paint ready to go! Thanks for the tip!

      What do you guys think about epoxy on the walls? I’m thinking white marble fancy one over xps, they do those for bathrooms. I’m thinking would it crack? Or not. While moving from it around

    Not bad for one year. I'm thinking about doing my trailer in the future after I get some more things built. I'm slowly but surely making an urban stealth camper (7x14 ft). I've considered using the Rustoleum epoxy floor in Mocha color with few flakes and then probably follow it up with the rock solid clear coat

      It might be a good move for you. It's relatively cheap to do. Most of the expense is time in prep work but it's lasting pretty well so far. Hope your stealth camper comes out the way you want it!

    This looks great - thanks for making an update video. Getting ready to do a similar project and this is helpful.

    This looks great! Anything to help prolong the life of these "small" investments we make. We all want them to last forever, right?! Agreed, if you had it up another few inches it'd just make cleaning it out that much easier. Pressure washed? Any fumes/off gases on hot summer days?

    Quick Question. did one set or on gallon do what you wanted and did you have much left over?

    • @Markofalltrades
      @Markofalltrades  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I laid it on pretty thick and did another coat after that and still had about 1/4 left over.

    Just recently bought a 12x24 storage shed. Wanting to do something like this to the floor in there. You think it would hold up?

    • @Markofalltrades

      Mine is holding up pretty well. I don't regret it at all.

    Did you use the clear coat too?

    • @Markofalltrades
      @Markofalltrades  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't. It's holding up well without one so far.
