    Absolutely agree with the two points by Steph: 1. Americans don't have that much grasp of what's happening in other countries, as they think they are the world and everything revolves around them...2. Generally, Indians would only like to speak in front of a camera if they have atleast some degree of knowledge/context about the topic

But we have trust issues with American government and even Canadian government because they are responsible for terrorism issue India is facing today in Kashmir and Khalistan problem outside India . • @vamshis1756
      @vamshis1756 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      the one thing Americans cant take is criticism, the obese people of America couldn't take people calling them obese and created a term fat shaming and body positivity for being obese. Indian usually can't take criticism because not a lot of criticism is unbiased, the criticism is motivated by financial or political gain, or because of differences in culture.
      genuine criticism is usually accepted, for example, every Indian agrees that the caste system is bad, one might explain how it started but no one denies the negative aspects of the present-day caste system.

    I visted US once, went to LA and few sight seeings. What I feel India needs is its traffic system. If driving from point A to point B takes 1 hr in India, it will take hardly 10 mins there. If traffic condition improves Indians can save lots of time on daily basis. Also they mat not reqd to move to city from native place as now its too time consuming to reach office. This will reduce population explosion in major cities in India. Also other surrounding towns nearby any major cities will get the chance of development leading to new jobs. So, I desperately wish India's roads and traffic conditions improves like that in US.

    As someone who was born in India and living abroad (NOT USA) for more than a decade now, I realized that:
    The US is HIGHLY diverse just like India.
    The US ALSO has homelessness, poverty and other problems. These problems are at a higher rate than other wealthy industrialized countries (such as Singapore or Norway).
    Yes Indian immigrants are very successful because they are self-selected and The USA does NOT allow stupid or lazy people to immigrate and live legally.
    Oh British accents are waaay more hotter and I LOVE living in England!!
    The US is nowhere near the most racist country. India is the most racist country on the planet with our obsession with skin whitening creams. Racism in The US, as Jaby and Steph point out, varies widely. In big cities it’s very very low.
    It’s not JUST Indians who believe that US is a utopia of some sort but also people from other developing economies such as Indonesia or Kenya or Nigeria.
    The gun violence statistics, again. There’s little correlation between gun laws and violence. There are examples where you have loose laws and very low rates of violence and the other way around.
    There are examples of tight laws and high violence and the other way around. This is because, again, The US is HIGHLY diverse.
