obviously these vids are not 100% up to date, but if you watch them and kinda just explain to yourself "you actually need two washcloths, etc etc" you remind yourself that and it helps you learn

This is not the way i learned it. It is suppose to be a barrier on the table. You don't use the same washcloth to bathe her arm as you did to wash her face. You are suppose to use 1 washcloth for face. And one washcloth for the arm. 1 big towel to pat the face dry. And 1 big towel to dry the arm. She did not wash her hands before she started working on the patient. And she did not raise the bed up to the highest level. Nor did she drop the bed back down to the lower level.

Every time you lift a washcloth or towel away from the skin, you have to use a new area of the washcloth or towel.

Where do you put the soap?I didn't see her move it and she didn't say where to put it.

    • @squgl

You just put some on the washcloth. The amount and actual coverage doesn't matter much, just that you put it on at the right time and keep track of the correct washcloth for washing and rinsing.

Sterling King I'm talking about after she's done, where do you place the soap?.I know how to do the skill.

Oh, I think just put it with the basin in the dirty supply area. Best to double check with your instructor but I don't think it's too specific.

Don't you use two different towels to wash and rinse

    • @Bernacide

Netta Boss I could def be wrong, BUT I think you ALWAYS use a separate cloth to wash and rinse.
