I don't go to Church on a regular basis. I sin. I work in my Financial Career wayyyy too much. I cuss too much. I have horrible habits. I'm often consumed by money and success. I watch things that I shouldn't. I don't read the Bible. Then, I heard about "The Chosen". I can't quit watching it! Jesus Christ was a REAL human who laughed, cried, danced, performed REAL and tangible miracles, led and taught people, who treated sinners and those less worthy with kindness and compassion. Because of Christ, I'm on a mission to lead a MUCH better life (for a thousand reasons). This series is REALLY helping me on my journey!!! 🙏
I have seen seasons 1-3 three times and every time I get more, I can hardly speak after each time, I am so renewed in spirit and moved by the goodness of God. God is worthy!
I two can identify with Simon. From his not understanding why Jesus didn't help Eden his anger. Also at especially when he's crying and apologizing and saying Please don't let me go. I'm sorry. Please don't let me go. 😔😪😒😪

Yo when Simon made up in his mind to "step out on faith" even his friends were telling him not to. That part spoke big time, because we have friends that see you making a decision to follow Christ, but will do the exact same thing to us. I've seen this happen to so many people. Once you make a decision and post it for the world to see, you'll definitely get people (even friends) calling you crazy. STEP OUT ON FAITH, HE'LL GIVE YOU REST!!!!!

Including the friends counselling against stepping out on faith as Daniel pointed out. To a still-troubled Simon, who doesn't yet have it all worked out, hasn't yet fully surrendered. That Jesus would and could bear him up, knowing that was not his problem. And yet, even stepping out on faith, Simon's faith was not quite where it needed to be. He had the power of Jesus down pat. But he still had a ways to go concerning Jesus' wisdom and love. And Simon still got distracted by the wind and the waves and began to sink. And in this stumbling, which paralleled Simon's disagreement with Jesus' decisions and priorities, and in Jesus' response, we see a great example and lesson about why God allows suffering in the lives of His people. To strengthen us. Because He loves us. Yes, not all the parts of this scene, its backstories, its subtext, its emotion -- not all of this is in the Bible. It is a fiction, based on the Bible. It is not inspired, as the Bible is. Doesn't make it any less inspiring....

I like it. 👍😍… Inspired by what was written in the Holy Bible… The Holy Scriptures which was written for our instructions… originated, from those who were there to experience, witness, during those times… with the purpose of spreading the ‘WORD’, ‘ THE GOOD NEWS ‘… All about ‘God’ … His wonders and might. 🙏❤️🤩… Why ‘He ( Jesus, our Lord, God and saviour )’ came, showing us the way towards him, leaving a promise of eternity in His heavenly kingdom, in time, as He wills. Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but he died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things: 1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin) 2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you 3. Confess that Jesus is Lord. I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. This series has touched and mirrored my faith way in so many ways. That cry of Peter "do not let me go" that cry I cried out in prayer when I was 13. I did leave the faith 10 years later. BUT he did bring me back 30 years after that prayer. I was allowed to meet Him. He said " fear not", just as he said to Mary in season 1. And I did not say but felt leave me I am sinfull. Just like Peter said. And He took that feeling away and filled me with love and awe. I am awed by this series totally blown away.
This was a very touching sceen. Let's remember it is not in the Bible. A lot of The Chosen is not according to the Bible, but it has helped many people to READ the Bible.
I loved this episode. The scene of the cleansing of Eden, and at the same time, Jesus stills the storm and Simon walks on the water to Jesus, and how the interaction of Eden reaching down in the water to save Simon. Wow, awesome !
I'm sitting here watching with my husband who is in the last stages of his life and when it shows Jesus walking on water with the lightning flashing behind him I think that's how he will be coming for my husband. Of course I start squalling. It hurts tremendously but is also a comfort.
Also tonight WAS first time since last SEPTEMBER that ive listened to ISAIAH and saw THE CHOSEN! I recently moved from Oklahoma to Oregon back in October 2023 AND with ALL enemies attacks, this is MY first chance to watch/listen! Ive SO missed The Chosen and Isaiah channel! I can imagine actually? Most of us would treat him the same way the people treated him then. Sometimes I wonder if I would have been religious like the pharisees, or A disciple like Mary.... Even today, a lot of us treat Jesus like many did when He was physically present with us.
The compassion of Jesus comforting Simon really hit home for me. My wife and I lost our child in the same manner that Eden did. We were so grieved all day and night. I didn't know what to say to our 5yr daughter without crying. I didn't want her to feel the sorrow and pain we were going thru so we waited a few days before telling our daughter and attempted to explain what happened to her sister or brother. She wanted a sister to play with and to be bunked up together in her bedroom. It was very difficult because she was so excited about having a brother or sister and would talk about everyday. We decided not to know if it was going to be a boy or girl. before the birth, she clearly wanted a sister. The night it happened I asked God to please please don't let me go, I'm sorry, don't leave us, don't let me go. And he didn't. He blessed us the following year with a beautiful son. God revealed signs and messages for us. To let us know everything will be fine and that our daughter was with him. On the second night after it happened, my wife said she had a dream of an elderly women holding a baby in her arms and gently rocking the baby. She said the women told her in a language she did not know but understood what she was saying. The women told my wife that the baby is there in heaven and that she will be waiting for her mommy and daddy and sister. I was looking at some older pictures in a family album and my wife gasped and said "stop that's her" she identified my grandmother to be the women in her dream. My wife did not know my grandmother nor had she ever met her. She died 10yrs before we were married. Strange but true. Many other things happened as well during that week. Thank you Lord

Simon holding onto Jesus at the end and begging not to be let go broke me, it had me in tears. After which Jesus rebukes the storm which always blew me away when reading it. The creator taking absolute control of his creation with two words - "Be Still!". Glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. P.s The words I scream in my heart every evening..."Please don't let me go!!!".
The narrative is splendidly interwoven reflecting turbulence yet stability of life while our eyes remain fixed upon Jesus the Source of all security ….the psalms are inspiring at all times: prayer enlightening the darkness……PRAISE be to GOD for inspiring this production💝💝💝💐💐💐💐

I have been watching this show since the beginning... This last episode of season 8 made my spirit so full that it overflowed!!! ❤ I busted into tears! I also was impressed with the Psalms at the beginning of the scene. This episode was breathtaking... I am starving for more 🙏🏽

He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things:
1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin)
2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you
3. Confess that Jesus is Lord.
I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! This series has touched and mirrored my faith way in so many ways. That cry of Peter "do not let me go" that cry I cried out in prayer when I was 13. I did leave the faith 10 years later. BUT he did bring me back 30 years after that prayer. I was allowed to meet Him. He said " fear not", just as he said to Mary in season 1. And I did not say but felt leave me I am sinfull. Just like Peter said. And He took that feeling away and filled me with love and awe. I am awed by this series totally blown away.

I loved this episode. The scene of the cleansing of Eden, and at the same time, Jesus stills the storm and Simon walks on the water to Jesus, and how the interaction of Eden reaching down in the water to save Simon. Wow, awesome !
I thought my heart was being filled with more joy and faith than I could handle.
It was overwhelming Spiritually to me as well. I cried & laughed & praised God. ❤

I'm sitting here watching with my husband who is in the last stages of his life and when it shows Jesus walking on water with the lightning flashing behind him I think that's how he will be coming for my husband. Of course I start squalling. It hurts tremendously but is also a comfort.
Is your husband saved by the grace of God and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? If so, that is a comfort.
Yes he is. He rededicated his life to Christ on July 3rd of last year and was baptized by Pastor Locke.

Also tonight WAS first time since last SEPTEMBER that ive listened to ISAIAH and saw THE CHOSEN! I recently moved from Oklahoma to Oregon back in October 2023 AND with ALL enemies attacks, this is MY first chance to watch/listen! Ive SO missed The Chosen and Isaiah channel! God Bless ALL and this ENTIRE WORLD! 💗💙💕😃💜🙏🌹❤️
I cannot imagine what it would be like to physically be around and hear Jesus
I can imagine actually? Most of us would treat him the same way the people treated him then.
Sometimes I wonder if I would have been religious like the pharisees, or A disciple like Mary....
Even today, a lot of us treat Jesus like many did when He was physically present with us.
That is what this show is for and it really brings it into perspective.
The compassion of Jesus comforting Simon really hit home for me. My wife and I lost our child in the same manner that Eden did. We were so grieved all day and night. I didn't know what to say to our 5yr daughter without crying. I didn't want her to feel the sorrow and pain we were going thru so we waited a few days before telling our daughter and attempted to explain what happened to her sister or brother. She wanted a sister to play with and to be bunked up together in her bedroom.
It was very difficult because she was so excited about having a brother or sister and would talk about everyday. We decided not to know if it was going to be a boy or girl. before the birth, she clearly wanted a sister. The night it happened I asked God to please please don't let me go, I'm sorry, don't leave us, don't let me go. And he didn't.
He blessed us the following year with a beautiful son.
God revealed signs and messages for us. To let us know everything will be fine and that our daughter was with him. On the second night after it happened, my wife said she had a dream of an elderly women holding a baby in her arms and gently rocking the baby. She said the women told her in a language she did not know but understood what she was saying. The women told my wife that the baby is there in heaven and that she will be waiting for her mommy and daddy and sister.
I was looking at some older pictures in a family album and my wife gasped and said "stop that's her" she identified my grandmother to be the women in her dream. My wife did not know my grandmother nor had she ever met her. She died 10yrs before we were married. Strange but true.
Many other things happened as well during that week.

Simon holding onto Jesus at the end and begging not to be let go broke me, it had me in tears. After which Jesus rebukes the storm which always blew me away when reading it. The creator taking absolute control of his creation with two words - "Be Still!". Glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
