I’ve bought out entire estate sales; however, it was always done the day of, during or after. For fairness. Some may think they are being “clever” by calling ahead of time but that’s not how it used to be.

I understand that resellers will buy out estate sales you have to find product to sell and vintage Barbie’s can’t be ordered lol what was unfair was her treatment of a potential customer there was no reason to be rude and to presale items advertised for the estate sale before it began that was unprofessional
Church flea market Bahama House and found the 35t anniversary vintage Barbie doll with brown hair! For $40.00 Sophia Maria I also have a bubble cut Barbie doll off of Amazon prime to ! They have the blonde hair one left at the church flea market ! She is also $40

Sooo happy to see you purchase the 57 Chevy!🙌 I have such wonderful memories of my parents giving me the same car as a child! I would have been around 10 years old, from a rather famous store in New England called Spags! The Barbie wall in this store was just amazing, all throughout the 80s and early 90s! I still have my beautiful Chevy, too! With my first 4 barbies still seat belted in it! Thank you for sharing your find! This car is an irreplaceable treasure to me! And the memories of such love from my parents! 💞

The 57 Chevy is awesome! I still have mine from childhood. I got it as a Christmas present in 1989-90??? The only thing missing is the seat belts. The trunk is tricky to open. Brings back good memories and it’s part of my collection now. I had a whole binder of those trading cards but I got rid of those. You got a good haul. I don’t understand why those people would have even laid out those dolls of they were already sold??? Sounds fishy.

Great condition washed the doll and dress I got to add conditioner to her hair a second time and comb it while wet her hair is a mess I own 2 Cher Dolls now woohoo

I have the 57 chevy too and love it! The trunk is tricky. I think i have to pull very gently out just a very little before lifting up and it makes a thunk noise lol. Unfortunately as you well know, the down side to barbie hunting at estate sales ect… is dealing with crazy people. The one you went to that already had everything sold sounds really weird and their place looked like something out of a scary movie. 😂 yikes
Thanks for the info on the trunk. I haven't tried since I made the video yesterday. A woman had lived there for 30 years alone. The Estate Sale people are holding out for special people. But it's ok cause I got the 57 Chevy!!💕

i love that car Ive only seen pink barbie cars but a turquoise and pink and it has seat belts!? i love it. the car reminds me of a comedy i saw years ago. i can't remember the name but four girls who just graduated high school want to have one last summer vacation fun before looking into colleges. one had a grandpa who owned a vintage turquoise car that he proposed to her grandmother in when they were in their teens. she decides to take it for a joy ride. it gets messy and they take it to the car wash to hide the evidence they took it for a joy ride, but the top of the car malfunctions and the hood begins to lower right when the car wash door closes and all you can hear is the girls scream and when they come out their covered in soap suds and a ruin interior to an old car. and that girl has to figure out how to fix that car before her grandparents get back and summer ends. i think ive heard of the trading cards and only seen photos of them but never saw any in person or knew how big they were. I do remember the sleeping beauty barbie. there were two versions. one with sleep eyes, the other with painted on. and i think the sleepy eye barbie that's eyes opened and closed they used the same head from the vintage open and close eye barbie that came with wigs. or it was inspired by that doll. i cant remember which it was but still a cool doll.

I use a wad of gum 😂 these days a little smidge of nail glue will probably keep it on or a translucent hair tie.

I comfort myself with the knowledge that those particular dolls you had your lazer eye on were not choices of a lifetime and you will soon forget all about them and recover! That automobile is quite nice - reminicent of the original dream car with the windshield, I would prefer, however, if Mattel could have stepped up to the plate with more sophistication making the interior any other color but pink. That crazy survey Mattel took after the original vintage years where they discovered little girls only want pink, pink, pink. Who believes that? Its amazing how the company could have been so misguided in the fist decade with all those real life palettes and subtlety.
It's their business so I guess they can do what they want. But I think it is not a good business model to advertise something and have it sold when everyone arrives. do you take your cellphone with you because its really helps to not get bamboozled, like I can commit to memory certain dolls but prices fluacate alot especially when talking about condition. personally I go to people just selling their stuff not because their avid collectors of dolls but because they want to get rid of things, it gives me the advantage of talking down pricing because at the end of the day they want to get their stuff sold not cling to it.
The Estate sales here don't take offers the first day. The 2nd or third day they mark things down. You can get the best prices the last day, if there is anything you want still left.
hey sue i'm still watching but that estate sale in the first story, needs a bad review. i don't know if estate sales has reviews but i think others need to be warned because that is 100 percent cheating you, and other people. No estate sale reserves stuff for buyers. i wouldn't be surprised if that woman just took a bribe she was probably given a large price offer and took it just to be greedy. will comment more as i watch. but i think you were cheated and if possible if they do reviews i' thinking warning others would be a good idea that way they don't get treated like you were.

Dispite myself I kind of like the tartish real life Barbie stepping out of her mules to retain her high heel feet just like the real Barbie. That automobile is quite nice - reminicent of the original dream car with the windshield, I would prefer, however, if Mattel could have stepped up to the plate with more sophistication making the interior any other color but pink. That crazy survey Mattel took after the original vintage years where they discovered little girls only want pink, pink, pink. Who believes that? Its amazing how the company could have been so misguided in the fist decade with all those real life palettes and subtlety.
It's their business so I guess they can do what they want. But I think it is not a good business model to advertise something and have it sold when everyone arrives. Apparently, some people have special buying rights. But yes I am over it!! love the car. I so agree with the pink. It isn't so special when everything is pink. Pink overload!!!

do you take your cellphone with you because its really helps to not get bamboozled, like I can commit to memory certain dolls but prices fluacate alot especially when talking about condition. personally I go to people just selling their stuff not because their avid collectors of dolls but because they want to get rid of things, it gives me the advantage of talking down pricing because at the end of the day they want to get their stuff sold not cling to it.
The Estate sales here don't take offers the first day. The 2nd or third day they mark things down. You can get the best prices the last day, if there is anything you want still left.
hey sue i'm still watching but that estate sale in the first story, needs a bad review. i don't know if estate sales has reviews but i think others need to be warned because that is 100 percent cheating you, and other people. No estate sale reserves stuff for buyers. i wouldn't be surprised if that woman just took a bribe she was probably given a large price offer and took it just to be greedy. will comment more as i watch. but i think you were cheated and if possible if they do reviews i' thinking warning others would be a good idea that way they don't get treated like you were.

Yes, Sue's BL. I will not be racing out to see the new Barbie movie. In my small mind I imagine it as something perverse. Dispite myself I kind of like the tartish real life Barbie stepping out of her mules to retain her high heel feet just like the real Barbie.
