Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧 Love your channel. My Chatty Cathy had brunette hair. I think the eyes were brown but I cant remember. Her dress was blue with white lace overlay and I remember her lovely black shoes and white socks. The phrases I remember were, "I don't want to go to bed." "I'm hungry." "I love you Mummy." My brother had a bear called Bruno that talked. His phrases were about climbing trees to get honey. I had my chatty cathy in 1973. It lasted until it cracked and the plastic in her chest crumbled. She was played with by many children over the years. A beautiful doll. My brother still had Bruno bear but he doesnt talk anymore. It was a lovely Christmas. Thanks for sharing your doll collection with us. Do you remember a walky doll called Sindy? My auntie bought me that doll. You moved her arms to move her legs. Love your channel, subscribed x

Number 3 barbie ponytails came out in early 1960. The number 1 & 2 ponytails came out in 1959. And the # 4 PTs came out late 1960. # 5 PTs -1961 maybe even into 1962. Then the #6 & #7 PTs all came out between 1963 and 1964 & the swirl PT only came out in 1964. I've been collecting & refurbishing vintage barbies & ken dolls since 2007.

I collect 80's Barbie's from 1980-1986 after that she got those white spots on her legs, so i don't want to collect those Barbie's and i find those early 80's Barbie;s very well dressed as if they came rigtht of Dallas or Dynasty or even from a day time soap opera tv-show with their bog gowns and fur coats.. And that's what i love about 80's Barbie's 😉😃

First!

I have all four Malibu dolls, three reproduction Barbie, Christie and PJ plus one vintage Malibu Francie.

The head on that #4 body is not a #4 head - it looks like a #6 or #7 PT head. I'm 100% positive. I've been working with vintage barbies since 2007. The 1-5 Barbie PTs lip paint always seemed to last but anything after #5 the lip paint usually faded or mostly gone. And her eyebrows is definitely #6 or #7 shape.

Dreamtime Barbie is from 1984 not from 1988 because i have her in my collection.

Thank you for the vinegar idea. I did not know you could use it for clothing not to bleed. (How do I use it for human clothing?). Did you not rinse the conditioner on the dolls hair? , did you let her hair dry with it on. Did you comb out her hair?

Yay!! You go Little Slay Queen!!! I love all of your beautiful Silkstones!! They are such a wonderful thing to have in a great Barbie collection. You and Sue mentioned the head turning. Especially on that Ken..finding his head not turning. Just want to let you know that you should be very careful with turning those Silkstone heads. The reason is, like all porcelain dolls, they are STRUNG. ...meaning that their heads and arms are held on to the body from the inside by strings or rubberbands or elasticbands.They are strung that means that they have the elasticbands inside her body. They are famous for having broken bands once someone starts to turn their heads. So. that is something to know so that your beautiful dolls do not break. I know how to restring dolls but have no idea yet how to restring a Silkstone. I am sure it can be done, but it might be a challenge! You two did such a great video and I can't wait to see more of you two! I loved it!! Thanks so much for showing g your beautiful dolls...old and new..they are beautiful! I hope my tip helped.
