The other day my partner and I were sitting in the lounge reading when my alexa just came in and said "this is a life threatening emergency call the authorities" we were freaked out so I asked why and she replied there is a zombie apocalypse followed by horrific noises!! Has any one else had anything like this happen? I'm so glad my partner heard it as he would of thought I was going mad!
Can you help me? I did a factory reset and now my alexa keeps telling me it can't find amazon music. It wont stop playing iheart family and i diasbled that
I have my Alexa App open on my Samsung and it responded when you asked Alexa, how many subscribers…..!!! Lol, now if I could get my echo dot 5th Generation speaker to respond! Stuck on purple!
Could NOT set the clock on my Gen 5 Echo Dot. Tried updating version, asking Alexa, Nothing it was set on Easter time I live in Pacific time?? I returned it, ordered a new one.
my friend has one but i think its previous generation and i have google speaker might think of getting that too but do you need to get prime to get more out of it i have an amazon account for shopping do i need another

Is it my specific TH-cam account or any account? I didn't honestly know the answer but googled it and found this: On Android, visit Settings > Connected devices again and tap your Echo's name to connect. You may need to tap See all if you have many devices paired. On an iPhone, visit Settings > Bluetooth and tap your Echo's name to connect to it. Hope this helps 🙂

I always thought that voice controlled speakers were pretty useless and a privacy hazard. Now, come to think of it, they can help me keep the phone outside my bedroom at night, which is a bigger privacy hazard.

Pretty much any of the Alexa devices with the clock on the front should be able to do this. Can take a bit of setting up though

Please what setting do I go to without having my app open to talk to Alexa
You will just talk to the speaker, but any settings will be altered through the alexa app on your phone or tablet
