NGN was not difficult, it felt like a collective of all I've learned over my time in nursing school. Using your ABCs , knowing your priority of stable vs unstable snd acute vs chronic, and always safety and infection prevention. Blew it out of the water. Good luck yall.
Hey guys, I worked with Dr Luther, and I passed my Nclex RN in my 3rd attempt he has got all the material and study plan to take pass the nclex be it RN or PN. I advise everybody preparing for the nclex to contact him 🎉
So for me if the question asked about 1 patient I used ABCs… if the question had multiple patients I used stable vs unstable. A lot of people think you have to study a ton but really you just have learn how to break down these questions. NCLEX is a safety test. They want to throw different stuff at you to see if you can recognize to show that you be a safe nurse.Pay super close to when a question says “best” or “first”. Remember guys take your time.I passed in 85! Congrats bro and us male nurses are taking over slowly🙏🏾💪🏾

@@LG-ow5vo when something says best think of as “only”.The best means if I do this one thing, it will help my patient the most. Best is most important and first is first.
I don’t know if NCLEX is Worth spending all my life time for because i have tried youtube l associates and some others and still failed 4 attempt. I feel so frustrated don't know what to do anymore don’t even have time for my own kids any more 💔💔💔😔😔.
You’re welcome! Yes exactly, the question may have fluff, something’s that are just in the question to distract you almost. Take your time and read each question thoroughly, practice questions will help :)
A lot of scenarios about common disease processes, I’d recommend reviewing common diseases:DKA&HHS, DI&SIADH, chrons&ulcerative colitis, appendicitis&peritonitis, etc. those ngn questions try and test how well you can spot the cue of the disease
Great thought process, but what if the patient self-extubates (under high distress), a better action in this situation would be to act quick rather than assessing first
@@gabetorres800that in and of itself is the assessment. Patient extubation, distress, in need of airway, sedation, restraints, etc etc. it’s just happening much quicker in your head and not a long and drawn out process due to the situation. You’ve already planned your route of action with that sequence imo then BAM! You’re at Interventions

I've always believed Nclex is not all about studying, you need God's grace to pass
People keep talking about miss Amelia all over TH-cam, she must be a very awesome help
@Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help

But if the patient IS under distress , why are we not assessing .. should that give us cues into what’s going on . ?

Assess unless in distress, in short, intervene when in distress
