yes on retention ponds for storm runoff they are inspected each year. this was just an old farm irrigation pond the owner wanted to clean up a little before he pumped it full
love watching these videos, i go to a vocational school for diesel mechanics so ill probably end up fixing these things :) i get to see the kids from conservation break the backhoes alot lol.
I love watching you videos. I was wondering how or why you guys end up doing all this pond cleaning and dredging? Is the county or something going around inspecting ponds and making the owners clean them out or is it just the property owner doing it on their own? I rember in one of you vids you had said something in it about it had failed inspection and needed to be cleaned up or dredeged out.
old post but just in case your still listening..you must temporarily divert the stream around your pond if possible. This will allow it to dry out enough to get heavy equipment in there. Diverting a stream requires permits and all sorts of government red tape. If it were me, I'd probably hire someone to suction dredge it or just get a large excavator to deepen and remove silt in the areas it's arm can reach.
i just want to you have the best videos on the tube. i have the same bacground as you in construction. my grandlarents had a business for 50 years. and if you ever need a shovel operator or a epuipment operator, lemme know
Hey there, just watched your video. Was hopping you could help me with some info. I been wanting to start working in the heavie equipment field for some time, and thought maybe I could ask you. What would been the best starting point to getting into this field of work. I have seen equiment schools on line that have three week course with a CDL for one added week. But they are a lot of money. Would it be worth the investment? Or should I go a different rout? Thanks letsdig18.

Armchair quarterbacks.
how i can stop the flow of water to my pond fed by a stream, to allow me dredging it?

What are you checking when you drive the bucket teeth into the ground?
That does look like fun !!!
If you put all the mud on the shoreline its all going to go back into the pond
I'm sure they trucked it out.
ApocalypticStorms
And besides, looks good but is mostly water. Lol!
This is like me eating ice cream from the bucket
Can you please make your videos longer? Like 20 min plus? They are always so good. Thanks.
Thanks for uploading!😇
That Bee in the glass front? It is huge.
I couldn't take my eyes off the wasp on the inside of the front glass.

Sounds like you should have paid a li'l more attention in 4th grade English class!
210 or 140
the 140 would be better on the ground
the 210 has a larger track more stability
could get sketchy in there unless there's a hard bottom.
You need a 60 inch flat bucket for those jobs
there's that bucket I lost...
Looks like u need the long reach boom & stick on there
👍
hey!! Nice PEPSI :)
Just making a mess looks like to me.
My dream job...
