My favourite part about this scene is that it starts with Noah trying to hot wire Mirage and steal him, but as soon as Noah wanted out, Mirage locks him in and essentially kidnaps him. 😂

They definitely succeeded in making Mirage a new fan favorite on the same level as Bumblebee and Optimus, I especially hope we get more of him in the next movie, and he isn’t just slid into the background after giving him an entire movie to himself

@@bengilhooly3616 someone didn’t stay for the after credits scene 😂 there’s two, one of Noah getting scouted by G.I.JOE, and another of Noah fixing Mirage, he put him all back together again himself in a garage, they freak out Reek (the car thief guy) by having mirage transform in front of him. Mirage is fine, just multicolored now bc of using different car parts to fix him.

This whole sequence is one of the best character introductions ever. We know everything we need to know about Mirage before he utters a single word, so much of his personality is shown by him ripping down the streets. I love how Noah assumed right from the start that there was some kind of intelligence behind the wheel-both Anthony and Pete absolutely killed it! By far my favorite Transformers movie in a long long while.
Yeah, he kills two cops in the process, too! So heroic!

Mirage taking out 2 cops while essentially kidnapping Noah just shows how desperate he was for companionship. He was lonely in that parking garage for months! But as soon as a cute, freckled, curly haired man entered his cabin, he was ready to risk it all. I also wouldn't put it passed him to take out those cops because he was trying to protect Noah from getting arrested. After all, he was the one that got him into that mess in the first place by letting him enter his cabin and then driving off as soon as the security guard appeared. If anything, Mirage is Noah's _questionable_ guardian. 😂
I really love how the film portrays the holograms, that Mirage can individually puppeteer each holographic avatar to do whatever.

I'm convinced that Mirage said that for the sole purpose of getting a reaction out of Noah. There's no way he didn't understand the sexual implications of that line. He must have seen enough earth movies to know how sexual "inside me" sounds without proper context. 😂

Bee and Mirage are both about 10-11 feet tall. Optimus in this new rebooted world is about 17 feet tall.
Man, I'll never forget getting hyped for the transformation scenes when I first saw it in theatres. Especially Optimus prime walking on screen, Mirage was just a breath of fresh air with so much personality and heart. Whoever brought up the idea of casting Pete Davidson as Mirage hands down deserves an Oscar.

Now we need a spin off series of Transformers doing their own Mystery Science Theater at a drive-in.
What we need is a series featuring Mirage and Noah going off on their own little adventures. Mirage will be the lovable, reckless rascal and Noah will be the voice of reason that tags along because Mirage is his boy and will most likely coerce him to join him. You know that show would make bank! 😂
I love how this movie doesn't shy away from keeping the human and CGI characters consistent in the same scene.

This movie was actually the best movie I’ve seen in a longgg time bc first it doesn’t have some lustrous moments where it’s abt sexual, second they make the characters relateable as in like somebody that feels like a nobody but have certain flaws that makes them great and a personal problem that doesn’t make it their whole personality but a part of their story its made me see Optimus Prime in a whole new perspective that I never thought I would

@@legendarystudioclips6018 Actually I think there is a difference. If you look closely, bay's camera is a bit slower and in my opinion it has better inertia and gives an impression of mass. Rise of the beast camera is a bit faster so it feels a bit more CG. It was kind of the same difference between Pacific Rim 1 and 2 where in second movie, camera is much faster so it feels less grounded.

I hated The Last Knight like most people did but I highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen Rise Of The Beast to watch it as it really is a good film
ROTB & Bumblebee are prime examples of what a Transformers movie should be! No tits and ass shots, no explosion every 5 minutes, no unnecessary drama that adds absolutely nothing to the plot. Just a perfectly stitched together story filled with action, adventure, humour and heart. And I like that the human characters actually care about helping the Autobots and are kind to them. And they actually play a pivotal role in the success of the mission.

They nailed the action, cg, acting, storytelling, characterization……perfect just perfect😻Really wish they can keep the quality thriving till the very last transformers movie they could plan to produce.

One of my favorite scenes. I like way Mirage drives in this movie. Mirage makes the game Need for speed: Most wanted look like a obstacle course for beginners.

This was the best one since three in the main series. The Transformers are actual characters and it has a distinct flavour. It’s a shame Paramount spent all the good will they had with the moviegoing public by dragging an exhausted Michael Bay back for 4 and 5 and tiring general audiences out in the process. There will be an animated transformers movie next year and since animated movies are like being masterpieces nowadays, then the next movie could properly save the franchise for good, if the movie does well
