When it comes to the 325is I would get one that is completely original in Calypso Red ! The same way it came from factory. Then have a 2nd one which would be fully custom! Wildberry Purple Metallic I saw on a F80 with I custom interior! E46 Csl suspension and brakes , S55 engine, Stepped Shooting star rims on Air suspension basically an OEM+ 325is but custom with different Bmw car parts from different eras that ties it together
Skhokhos build has inspired me so much, I'm not a BMW E30 fan, bit what Chicanos did to Skhokho brew my mind, Mr Moosa, you're a true inspiration, like you say, do what you love and you'll never work again 🙏keep up the good work ❤
Very interesting video, my dream bmw is an alpine white e30 325is evo2 with black original leather and a sunroof. Everything on the car should be stock as it came from the factory(original radio, speakers, full tool kit with the bmw torch, bmw cloth and the bmw service book and manual). The only modification I will do is to the exhaust system. Everyone loves how the e30 325is sings with a good exhaust system.
Chip, currently having a 325i Baur being rebuilt to original spec, your videos just inspire me more and more and just make me forget about the stress that this car has given me! Being someone that personally prefers oem, metallic silver with Uberko Cloth interior & original rims would be my choice! Now I would like a shadowlin with a worked N55 motor big turbo and auto gearbox. A weekend cruiser with all the comforts and the power to out run alot of modern cars out there.

Dream spec would be a calypso red evo 2 with a stroked 2.9 motor and custom interior/ complete overhaul of the car done at Chicanos. Simply put in ZA there is no other shop that I know of that can match the quality of work and the knowledge that Chip and Chicanos offers. Im happy for you my brother. Your growth in this industry inspires me to go after my dreams. Cant wait to see how your evo 2 turns out😊.
Dream E30 build would be the below...a super oem+ build. Has to be an original Shadowline with 4 hole suspension and M Tech kit, like the one tested by CAR magazine in 88 I think. Painted BMW Alpine white 2 from the E46 M3. I'd source all the little oem bits that our SA cars never had, like the front snow wipers and side opening windows for the rear passengers. 3.2 litre engine from an E36 M3, coupled with a Getrag dogleg box for fun. Would be on some high end KW coilovers, rolling on some original 3 piece BBS split wheels, with new Radinox dishes front and back. Has to have that tucked in look like the early 90's german tuning style. On the inside, has to have some Recaro LS seats, trimmed in black cloth and Uberkaro, with a BBS steering wheel. A period Alpine head unit with the lighting to match the original bmw colours. I'd use standard front lamps, with white indicators and full red rear lamps. I personally feel that the less is more approach works well with all german cars from this era. Hopefully after my GTI project is complete, can get into doing a full E30 build..

My best "IS" is a black 325is Evo 2 with a Henna red leather, which was my brother's first car after his release from prison in 2003, and from there he sold it 5 years down the line and later bought Grey evo1 325is and a white 325is which are currently in his ownership and not for sale, but till today he is still crying for the black "IS", so a black "IS" always does the trick. Well that's my story of how I fell in love with a 325is.

Had to come back to say what my e30is spec would be. 325is EVO2 Silver/grey OEM colour With original material/cloth seats original bbs wheels the weekend wheels would be the throwing stars converted to 3 piece deep dish 17" high polish lips. The reason I'm taking the EVO 2 is due to the rare fenders of the EVO 1 just a bid of a lean or a ball to the fender then its damaged.

If I had a 325is this how it would be ... Starting with the exterior, I would go for a brilliant red heu ,with the original body kit. On the wheels I would have the 17" Alpina rims from Auto Style. It must have nice shiny exhaust tips tilted to the side. Interior,I would keep it stock from factory. Engine wise, starting from the top ,I would get a gas flowed cylinder head and as well with bigger injectors with a bigger fuel pump. With the engine block I would slightly modify it to put bigger piston. I with as knife the crankshaft as well as the flywheel. And I would have a wire tuck. With the exhaust I would go to power pipes so that they can do their magic.
I would say a Calypso red 325is Evo 2 with sunroof and with a whiskey brown leather interior and brown Alcantara insert combo sitting on a set of oldschool 17 inch Ewing wheels 🤞OEM +
My dream 325is would have to be a replica build. Multivalve 323i dictator 60 _2..17 inch bbs rims stratch tyers, custom sound system, power pipes exhaust no branch.. 325is EVO2 Silver/grey OEM colour
With original material/cloth seats
original bbs wheels the weekend wheels would be the throwing stars converted to 3 piece deep dish 17" high polish lips.
The reason I'm taking the EVO 2 is due to the rare fenders of the EVO 1 just a bid of a lean or a ball to the fender then its damaged.

If I had a 325is this how it would be ...
Starting with the exterior, I would go for a brilliant red heu ,with the original body kit. On the wheels I would have the 17" Alpina rims from Auto Style. It must have nice shiny exhaust tips tilted to the side.
Interior,I would keep it stock from factory.
Engine wise, starting from the top ,I would get a gas flowed cylinder head and as well with bigger injectors with a bigger fuel pump.
With the engine block I would slightly modify it to put bigger piston.
I with as knife the crankshaft as well as the flywheel.
And I would have a wire tuck.
With the exhaust I would go to power pipes so that they can do their magic.
I would say a Calypso red 325is Evo 2 with sunroof and with a whiskey brown leather interior and brown Alcantara insert combo sitting on a set of oldschool 17 inch Ewing wheels 🤞OEM +

Definitely a great idea, but most shops don't want to take on work like this as they don't believe there is a huge market.
