That was so sad and totally unnecessary. You have to have some really bad issues to be jealous of a child and to lie about expecting a baby. So wrong of her to do that. There are some men who are jealous of the mom's child too. That's their child their flesh and blood and you just happen to come into their lives. I’ve had friends that acted similar ways. Not towards the child, but towards the child’s mother. I’ve never understood dating somebody if you’re gonna have an issue that they have a baby mama/kids. If you’re not mature enough to be with a father & realize that his child(ren) come first, you shouldn’t even be with him. I tell everybody, once you have a kid you’ll understand.

You can't separate someone from their child; however, you can decide to NOT be involved with someone with a child to avoid certain situations. Some people prefer to date someone knowing there is no child, baby momma, etc . In all fairness, as a partner you have to consider that child and the fact he / she has obligations to that child. I personally know people who have mentioned they refuse to date men or women with a child due to potential baggage, drama, finances and much more. It's a personal choice. If you don't, you shouldn't be bashed and if you do then you do.
