Looks like July's Full Moon Party in Kendwa Rocks, Zanzibar. If so, I was there last month, too😂. I got packed later on that morning. Karibu to Tanzania. Your comment about accessing resorts from the beach at night had me tripping. Security ain't having it🤣✌🏽
I actually tried to go to my new resort in the morning 🌄. They made me go back and catch a taxi all the way around. Lol 😆
Let me know if you're ever interested in going to the Serengenti for a safari. Maybe you've already been. If not, I will connect you with my family in Arusha. I'm sure you've heard of the city. It's smaller than Dar but it's lit, if you're connected with the right people. I'm based in the ATL but I go home to TZ all the time.

I’m also going on Tuesday but I’m staying around dar es salam the main land and there’s also islands to visit in dar es salama but Zanzibar is strictly no party during Ramadan !!!!! I spent a lot of time in Dar in the 90’s. Bought a house on Mbezi beach and got married in the embassy there.

Don't come up with these tribalism thing here in T'zee which we been lucky not to fall into. You probably love your Chaga woman and it seems you don't know much about Tanzanian women, culture and society as whole. All Tanzanian women from over 120 tribals are beautiful

My late wife’s father is Dr Husein Mongi, once featured on your 100 shilling for being one of 13 college graduates in the whole country in 1965 when Tz gained independence from the Germans. He is one of the founders of the University of Dar pictured in the background on said currency now converted to a coin. The bill also featured the late President Nyere(I’m sure I didn’t spell it right), who was only the country’s 2nd president at the time.
When I first came to Tz, I built the network for Dahaco at the airport in Dar as well as Arusha as part of bringing the Internet to remote parts of the country in ‘96.
I may not know a shitload about the culture, but this kid from the Bronx put in work on the ground throughout that country while representing one of the more affluent families from the country. From Zanzibar to 19,900 feet up to the top of Kilimanjaro 5 days up and 3 days down, I saw it.

We are over 120 tribes in Tz but we an't griped with tribalism,we all speak one language neither you can't define an individual by his/her tribe here in Tz. Just a correction, we gained independence from british and not germans as germans lost Tz after world war 1.

Is zanzibar still full of people in most nightclubs or is it almost empty? I‘m thinking of maybe going. And do the nightclubs still play african music or westernly adjusted disco music?, i want the real african experience.

What nights is Club Havoc at its dopest?
All the clubs are at their peak on the weekends from what I noticed. But there may be a certain night that they have an event so that's something else to watch out for
