    Super into this! Love the idea of visiting different cities and checking out their cocktail scene. Philadelphia has really been coming alive with it’s cocktail bar scene lately and has a lot to check out. Would be awesome to see you visit!

    Love these city bar tours Leandro! Especially love when you can talk through a drink and get some specs like when you visited Billy Sunday. I realize though that's not possible everywhere though.
    Let me know when you and Marius swing back up to SF to do the Bay Area bar circuit again.

    Did you check out Clavel right across the street from WC Harlan? Real nice Mexican restaurant with some really nice mezcal cocktails.

    Love that you came to Baltimore! You need to come back and try the bluebird cocktail room and Baltimore spirit company’s cocktail gallery (they distill their own rye and gin) and a new speakeasy style tropical bar that opened called the Coral Wig !

    I felt a little bad for the airport bartender... like a chef cooking for a nicer version of Gordon Ramsey....

    2:38 I'm Sure a talented Artist painted this painting. But it kind of looks like when you type Martini into one of those AI Art Generators.

    I don't want to be the "You missed ____! You missed ___!" But based on what your channel is all about and what you liked of what you saw, Idle Hour in the Federal Hill area would be a good stop. Neighborhood dive for sure, but the unique thing is their chartreuse focused cocktail program. It is Baltimore, so if you go during peak hours, no promises that there won't be a DJ or something going on, and if you go on a Sunday afternoon, you'll probably find the regulars grilling on the sidewalk and bringing the cookout vibe inside with a small dog or something that everybody except you knows. The cocktails were on point and the atmosphere is generally subdued. I feel like i read somewhere that they were selling so much green chartreuse that the big wigs at the distillery made a special trip just to see what was going on and what they were doing to sell so much. (Shots... people are doing chartreuse shots in there).
    Not the craziest place, but definition worth a visit if that's what you're looking for.

    Thank you for highlighting our fair city - she's had a few (such an operative word, few) challenges as of late, but there's still the history and architecture and the culture. Pity, though, that you managed to find one of the worst dives in all of Baltimore (such a miserable tourist trap and hang out for the recently-turned-twenty-one crowd), especially with the help of locals, made even more painful when one considers that a number of far better bars were within stone-throwing distance. Did someone say: The Canon Room at Sagamore Pendry...? You missed out on all The Wire references which could have been made while imbibing a cocktail made from their very own proprietary liquor. Such a missed opportunity. Such a pity. Sigh...

      Yeah we were hoping the last drop would be a cool litttle spot and it was horrible. We did find some of the best bars in the city though with great cocktail programs and talented bartenders. Would love to visit again!

    The Horse you came in on used to be much more laid back they would have a band but not the lights and all. We would go early in the evening though. It’s been a few years since I’ve been downtown. Things have changed so much in the past 5 years unfortunately I can’t say it’s been for the better but there are some impressive bars and restaurants in Baltimore. The historical aspect of the city is amazing as well.

    It would be super duper cool to see you visit Pittsburgh someday, since there are a metric ass load of bars in Pittsburgh, by some figures the most bars per square mile. So many even me as a native the area I cannot even imagine getting to them all.

    I like the channel a lot and been watching from when it was named the freepour. One thing I've noticed is that after the rebranding I don't watch the videos many times because the new logo wasn't wired in my brain with your channel, looked alien. Don't know if others have the same problems

    • @freepour
      @freepour  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it’s been the same across the board. Rebranding is always a little tough

    • @Mark723
      @Mark723 ปีที่แล้ว

      The best antidote for this conundrum: subscribe, and one need not think about rebranding and/or brain freeze...

      @@Mark723 I am subscribed. But I am also subscribed in many many channels which upload daily. There are 4-5 channels I check weekly for uploads but other than that when I browse from my phone most of the times I look for the icons and if I see an update from a channel I'm in the mood to watch I go for it. And I believe it's the same for a lot of people
