Fells Point for me IS home. Born there, raised there and my father still lives in the house I grew up. When he finally passes, I'm moving back home as well.
Love this!! Baltimore gets such a bad rep this is so refreshing to see! Thinking of moving out there soon and fells point just catch’s my soul for some reason
Fell's Point is THE place for tourists and locals alike. Leave suburbia for a truly authentic experience of historic architecture, amazing restaurants, and even better people.
That's awesome... our 3 year old and all his friends love Fells Point/canton... so much to do. Parks, playgrounds, Du Burns Arena (soccer, gymnastics) and many great school choices.
We fell in love with Fells Point when we moved there for a job!! Had to leave to go to Boston for another job but now moving back in April to Fells Point after having bought a row-house there. I consider Fells Point the best kept secret in a city that has otherwise developed an unfairly bad reputation. We are looking forward to getting know other residents there (and visiting Su Kasa).
Give me a shout when you move back! we have a few parties coming up at our waterfront office in Fells Point, will be a great place to meet some neighbors!
Thank you for this video. Im planning to move to Fells Point within a year. Reason being is because i want to buy a sailboat and liveaboard. From my research Maryland is one of the few states on the east coast that allow year long living on a marina. Plus has been my dream to learn how to sail and be close to the water. I will be relocating from NYC. The charm of your city really calls to me. I want a more laid back lifestyle and Baltimore fills the yearning. Perfect little city on the waterfront. Thank you, i can't wait. I'll be leaving everything behind, my friends, family, and Baltimore is not too far away from them. Im a bit scared because i won't know anybody. But some how i feel i will be welcomed. ❤
Fells Point is great & very welcoming, id bet you will love it! Some marinas allow live aboard, and some do not, I would check with the marina you are interested in!
@@movingtomarylandchannel thank you for the advice. Yes I have researched them and called several. One in particular is called Henderson's Warf Marina, it's right in Fells Point. They allow, year long liveaboards.

A great day trip!
I lived in Fells Point, on the waterfront, from 1981 to 1989. Not a day goes by that I don't miss it. (Not sure about raising kids there, TBH)
