- This arrangement took me a little longer to make than the Gym Leaders arrangement. I wanted it to be dynamic and impactful. Also, the original music is difficult to arrange because it is very fast and the bass line is very present. To make the theme a little more "wild", I had to improvise.
To make the sound a little more traditional, I used samples of Chinese Erhu wich is an incredible instrument. I know it's not Japanese but I love the sound haha.
In order to make it orchestral, I relied on the brass instruments that make the theme shine.

If someone told me this was the actual lake trio theme in the game, I would've believed it. It's a fantastic arrangement fitting for both the lake trio themselves and the setting of the new game, and that erhu was an unexpected but perfect addition. You've really done one of my favorite themes justice! After checking out your other arrangements as well it's an easy sub. Keep it up!
