Love watching these dogs. I had pitt she was so sweet and loving. She was my ex husband baby. She weighed 60lbs but she would lay on his lap all day she loved me too. But she really was a daddy's girl. Well guess who would give her some food every time he out. She was spoiled a little bit lol but we only had her 9 months due to cancer. I still miss her. But she is in doggie heaven I will see her again. Amen

It's such a pittie thing. My girl is a total goof ball and just lives in the moment, every single moment. There is no personal space and that's the best. She is the most loving dog we have.
There is no personal space when you don't demand it and train the dog.
Lol yes pitties are like kids, when they are in a safe healthy happy environment, they are the best dogs and cuddle bugs ever! Lol

Proud grandmother to my daughter’s sweet pittie Isadora. She’ll be staying with me while my daughter is away and I look forward to her visit as would any grandmother look forward to a visit from their grandchild.

Right...pit bulls are "just like kids". Sure.
When he saw the other dogs happily greet him at the door he knew instantly that "This is a loving home". Prince is so, so, sooo cute.
They were like, "Hey man, what's happening?"
I couldn't believe it when I saw the word "Grandma" pop up under this lady's face. She looks so damn youthful 😯
I've owned 3 red nose pitbulls. The Sweet girl I have now will be 15 years old in August. They're everything she says about Prince.

Hello 👋 dear, how are you doing?
I use to rescue them and have also had a few. Very goofy and loving. Even my grandmother gave in after thinking they were vicious for so long.
Sad thing is though she is 15.
Give her all the love you can with what time she has left.
Don't mean to be a downer, I'm in the same boat.
My sweet girl although not a pittie, (mostly black lab) is going on 14.
I can tell she is starting to age and slow down much faster. (Diabetes, arthritis, going blind etc.) While she is a happy dog and relatively pain free, I can tell her time is approaching. When the time does come, I would rather she went peacefully at home.
I am dreading having to make the decision to take her to the vet to be "Taken care of".
But one thing I will not do is have her live a pain addled depressed existence for however long just to keep me from having to make that call.
It would be painful and break my heart, but I will not selfishly keep her around in that state.
I am sorry about writing this and bringing this up, but I think in a way it is therapeutic for me put these words down.
I guess it's a way for me to face what is coming instead of keeping myself in denial.
I hope you and your sweet baby girl have many more happy years together ahead of you!
@@tylerwilliams6022 so true. I have had to make that decision a few times. Honestly I'm not sure I can hold it together if it happened at home. I was no good at the vets office.
@@tylerwilliams6022 Amen. She has a bump on her shoulder but is pain free. Took her to the vet to have it looked at and sat in my car and cried thinking about the day we have to say goodbye. I'm not having the bump removed or biopsied at this point. She seems healthy and happy but it was wake up time for me to get ready, if that's even possible. God Bless you and your furry kid.

When you said he's your Grandbaby I was like WTF there's NO way you're old enough , I want what you're on , you look fantastic , loved this story and he's such a sweet doggy.
Prince has the imagination and energy of a toddler. A stick could be a sword and he is a knight. A shoe might be a burglar and he protects the family. And everything you do, even tedious activities like housework, is an ADVENTURE. Oh, to see the world through the eyes of a dog!

He's sweet but needs to be taught some discipline also. Insist that he try to do any exercise moves you do beside you but not interrupt YOU working out! And let you do things you need to do by leaning in to your legs for a quick pet here & there while you're doing things other than working out. If you're firm when explaining a particular thing it will cause you to visualize with emotion what behavior you'd like him to do in those cases, and that's what they can understand is our visualization and emotions. They will usually comply right away.
My pittie had a similar obsession with sticks. 😊

Puppy Love
My mom's dog high pitch cries and pees herself when she sees me lol (like she'll come running to me crying, flop onto her back on my feet, and sometimes she'll pee a little from being so excited) Apparently I'm the only one she does that for. She's so happy it just puts me in such a good mood to see her. Gotta introduce her to my rescue soon. Hope they get along even half as good as these dogs do!

We have 3 Pits & JRT/Long Haired Chihuahua Mix. She literally looks like a stuffed animal... My mother has always considered every dog I've had her GrandDogs. She loves them all equally, buys them gifts at Christmas. She's upset if they're ill. She just loves them... It's really nice.
I have a JRT/ Shih Tzu mix. She is absolutely adorable.
I am a senior & feel the same way about my daughter’s pit bull& German Shorthaired Pointer. I get more love from those dogs in 5 mins than I will probably for the rest of my life from people. I always look forward to my visits there & count the days down. So glad these sweet souls are a part of my life
This is great seeing how this woman didn't have a dog growing up but when her son had brought Prince home he had came out of his shell and started to open up and started to show how he was like a child who loved everything thing like sticks, stealing socks, bras, underwear ect.

The dog's personality reminds me of Bo, we had him for a few years and our circumstances changed and we had to find a home for him. Thankfully, some friends were able to take him and we can visit him regularly. He's so sweet and derpy.

I wish people who hate or are afraid of pit bulls would watch this. These are some of the most loving and family oriented animals by far! My favorite breed!🥰
Yes they are!!! The fact that the Dodo features them often is such a blessing for the breed. Such sweet babies when they are loved and not abused. Even when they are abused, then taken out of that environment, they resort back to being a puppy when they feel all that love!
I did watch it. The fact that there are lovable and friendly ones doesn't negate the fact that some can maul other animals and people to death. I'm in California and still remember the case of that woman being mauled to death by the neighbor's pit bulls. I've seen videos of people who have toddlers around these dogs, and I hope it's always with supervision. Toddlers pull tails, ears, etc., and can be mean.

They have a son. He's the dog's daddy, so naturally his parents became the dog's grandparents. It's that simple.
What a beautiful boy! Both physically & personality. Buy, you need to start training him like, yesterday. I also have a pittie that I adopted when he was one year old. He was soooo energetic, silly and hard to control but I began immediately with discipline followed by love. It still amazes me how easy it was. It’s like he needed to know who the alpha was & once I took control he understood that I was the one he had to listen to. I’ve had him for almost nine years now & he is still silly, funny & soooo loving, but he’s also well trained. Just sayin’, get started with giving him perimeters & letting him know what is OK & what isn’t.
Great point. Although it's super fun to watch these vids featuring total goofball dogs, I hope Prince knows how to respect a real "No" when he hears it? Even as a total non dog owner, I can still tell good training is key for having happy and healthy dogs, esp. when you're dealing with strong, active animals who can accidentally injure themselves or others if they aren't trained to respond properly to instruction. Many of the popular husky vids on YT really worry me for that same reason, as they clearly show bad habits being encouraged...? That's usually a much more stubborn and argumentative breed in general too & can get really unruly if not given good, continuous and consistent training.
