blue weekend is definitely the album of the year for me!! since you liked smile and play the greatest hits, a lot of their older songs and their previous two albums (my love is cool and visions of a ilfe) are much more alt rock like those tracks. you should check them out!

Wolf Alice (WA) is far and away my favorite band. I got turned on to them when I first heard Moaning Lisa Smile. All of their albums are great with Blue Weekend being spectacular. My favorite song on Blue Weekend is How can I make it OK. I saw them live in Dallas this year...such a great group !
I think Last Man on Earth is just straight up the Indie Song of the Year? Like I'm sitting here on all the react channels I know, reading the news I know, and nothing comes clooooose bro. The whispers at the end... and the performance on Jools Holland too - straight KILLER. It's so well produced. It's so well written. It's just fuckin chefs kiss!
