neah, i think you are wrong. FS is arcade flying. Don't mix it up with x-plane's aerodynamics. I compared them and the flight modelling in FS is lightyears behind x-plane. but sure, i understand a kid's raised eyes in front of a candy store, before it opens. And you need to check your pricing model. X-plane costs half of FS, and the 737 seen here is freeware. thanks and sorry for the correction.
@@piloto_loco Explain why so many people mention FS2020 having great physics and aerodynamics. Also how did you "compare" them if FS2020 isn't even released yet?
@@piloto_loco Talking about FSX or even P3D which model physics a 1 point in the model, FS2020 now uses over a thousand points of the model that will react independently off weather, turbulence and other effects very similar to how XP's Blade Element Theory works. Now currently there appears to be an issue with touchdown physics particularly with the A320 Neo but word is Asobo is aware of the problem, and working on the solution. They may or may not have it fixed at launch, we'll have to wait and see. X-Plane 11.5 is a great sim, but combined with all it's other features raises Flight simming to a level we have never seen before.
The lighting in xplane is so unrealistic it’s hard to even compare them really. This looks like it’s in a room of white fluorescent lights that only make shadows on some of the objects
About the engine sound: I love the engine startup sound and the sound at takeoff, but on a longer flight I want the engines and cabin to be as quiet as possible, otherwise it gets really annoying after a couple of hours.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 lighting, clouds and weather still generational ahead from what i've seen in this video... Still it's impressive from what a small grorup of people in Laminar Researches could achieve something like this compared to multi billion dollar company that Microsoft does...
@Soko no need for the passive aggressive tone there. Either way, MFS2020 has better graphics than X-plane 11 with addons. That means that MFS2020 is better because you get the graphical improvement without having to pay more for addons that make the graphics look like this.
@@noel12397 If you say this is better you're insane, it has pretty low polygon count and the lighting is no match for MFS2020 and look and the water looks low quality
SPecOPs Well first of all is the 737, way better then any plane modelling in FS2020. Then is some of the cockpit textures. But if you look at the scenery FS2020 IS 100% BETTER. And also the textures and shadows are better in 2020. So it’s kinda hard to decide which. But vanilla MFS versus vanilla XP11 MFS wins easily lol
You just know that FS2020 will be incredible years from now when the community has matured and it has a wealth of mods available. Just look what time has done for X11!
I absolutely love loud engines, that's why in real life I enjoyed being on board of turbo probs even a little more. Although it is a beautiful video and you took a lot of effort in editing and modding your sim, for me it is not better than MSFS2020. Overall realism of 3D structures and textures for me is not as convincing as MSFS, MSFS delivers on even a higher level than XP11 right out of the box - without any mods.
@@___Puppet__Master___ Doubt the Xbox can do anything close to full pc ultra at 60fps, $4000 is silly too, you do not need to spend much more than half that.
When you consider how much $ you would have spent on addons to achieve this and still being inferior to MSFS on most levels I would say no, it's not better. Add to this also the dreadful framerate in x-plane you get with a high end system. Compare base versions of each sim without any addons and I think the answer is clear!
Yeah, there's really no comparison. People not calling it a "true sim" are delusional. I've never felt more immersed or that I'm actually flying than I do in MSFS. Add in WT's G3000 suite, or the PMDG DC-6, which is study level, there's TONS to do in the meantime while they continue to iron out the kinks.
Your not alone with wanting to hear loud engines. I’m the same. I actually am so disappointed that the newer engines are high bypass turbo fans instead of the old smaller turbo jets that had that beautiful & intoxicating turbo whine/whistle. I loved hearing those back in the day.
Right but that’s just his computer. I can currently run max settings on xplane with 50-60 FPS. And that includes the orbx photogrammetry scenery that he appears to be using in this video. Granted orbx only offers 5 states like that vs the entire world on msfs.
@Coolayyy Playz Well, the x plane has been updated to 11.50version which added Vulcan driver,it can improve FPS,but if you trying to install those addons like in this video ,your FPS definitely dropped. So it's not about you pc configurations.
FS2020 looks amazing but its still misses that feeling of a true flight sim. and yes i love the engines being loud, especially when they are in harmony
thats jus straight up scary how realistic that is cause of the small noises everything makes is so real the annoumcements inside the cabin the seatbelt sign noise and even the little beeps r all so accurate to a real cabin
The thing with x plane is you need to download a whole bunch of junk onto your computer just to make it look good. Eventually you run out of space. People who agree 👇
Bad way of thinking there. Of course, for 60$, you will get a huge and beautiful base, never reached in a vanilla sim. But, excepting the 3D modeled airports and towns, almost every place in the world is auto Gen. It means that you will never get rid of a multi hundred dollars worth sim with loads of add ons. MSFS2020has rosen the vanilla and autogen quality in an awesome way, but it won't replace a high fidelity scene, especially if it's one of your heart place.
@@Sev_Ash-amur "Good way of thinking there" but no thanks. It is too expensive when you can get a far better looking "vanilla" sim for $60. Bye X-plane....welcome FS2020.
I might have expressed myself wrong. FS2020 is the new major sim, you got a good point on that. I don't mean that x-plane is still alive (it is though), but just that you won't get rid of a multi add on sim. A lot of people will be happy with the vanilla sim, which honnestly exploded the level of details, but a lot of passionate simers will continue buying precision scenes. That's all. But yeah, as you said, it will always be cheaper and nicer than a full moded XP11. Bye XP.
Love everyone is all about the looks: MSFS as of now has terrible flight characteristics for the big jets. This is where it fails to simulate flight. It's like Forza: looks nice and shiny but is nowhere simulation.

Max your videos are special to me. As a filmmaker and aviation enthusiast, I sincerely appreciate the effort and quality you put into your vids. They are always a pleasure to watch and I especially enjoy the way you make fun of bugs in sims even though you’re going for the most realistic look. Fantastic work, keep it up!
I love the sensation of the loud engines. My phone is vibrating and it feels sooooo good
The diference is the thousand of dolars you have to pay for addons, and the little ammount of money you have to pay for MFS 2020
Don't worry they'll be plenty of airport scenery developers, and aircraft developers all lined up to separate you from your money, give it time! Area scenery like Orbx FTX is pretty much out of business. At least Orbx still has their Airports they can sell.
Not sure you can compare it. Xplane is amazing....don’t get me wrong....but MS2020 is in a league of its own. And it’s still in beta!
neah, i think you are wrong.
5:37 i love that sound as well is feeling of holiday and i really really love it.
I literally can pass out in minutes listening to an engines roar

I absolutely love loud jet engines too man! Great work on the video!
Modded xplan looks amazing, but msfs2020 looks way better and nedd no mods
Oh, you have msfs2020, please show me your Video of your flight
@Dirk Marburg I don’t know if this is a joke, but there is a lot of footage of MFS. Just look it up
@@dirkmarburg4332 Just watch some videos from the preview edition. There are thousands
The lighting in xplane is so unrealistic it’s hard to even compare them really. This looks like it’s in a room of white fluorescent lights that only make shadows on some of the objects
Eye candy is nice but, FS2020 only has default aircraft for a while. I'll wait for bit.
About the engine sound: I love the engine startup sound and the sound at takeoff, but on a longer flight I want the engines and cabin to be as quiet as possible, otherwise it gets really annoying after a couple of hours.
It only sounds that loud like at takeoff power. The blade tips are going supersonic.
@@RunesLegacy the blade tips in a turbofan do not go supersonic, that would damage the blades.
@@FlightSimulatorEnthousiast The blade tips on takeoff are at about Mach 1.4.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 lighting, clouds and weather still generational ahead from what i've seen in this video... Still it's impressive from what a small grorup of people in Laminar Researches could achieve something like this compared to multi billion dollar company that Microsoft does...
Remember that most of what you see are addons. Lighting, Scenery, even the aircraft is an addon.
@@Parker-hy6ux Indeed
@Soko no need for the passive aggressive tone there. Either way, MFS2020 has better graphics than X-plane 11 with addons. That means that MFS2020 is better because you get the graphical improvement without having to pay more for addons that make the graphics look like this.
The Game is made by asobo, microsoft just supports them with funds, their data, servers and name.
@@fl0ri4n81 I know.... But like i said, without microsoft funds, data and the servers, MSFS20 woulnd't be a thing...
Lovely crispy engines sound , made my day !!!
I love the effort u put into this
Engine sounds were excellent! I am old enough to remember flying in the 707. Those were truly loud.
Even with all the editing it’s not even close 😂😂😂
SimRaceHQ It is close, it’s better
@@noel12397 If you say this is better you're insane, it has pretty low polygon count and the lighting is no match for MFS2020 and look and the water looks low quality
SPecOPs Bro, this is better by far
@@noel12397 LMAO how is that? Can you explain? I don't see anything that is better then MFS2020
😂the Pushbackdriver, what a beautiful video!
Great job editing. Your 6 working days worth of it are appreciated. You got yourself a new subscriber
this is an amazing video, also 4:56 has a floating truck.

And with MSFS2020 on Xbox Serie X you can play 4K 60fps on Very High and Ultra Setting without have to pay a 4000$ NASA computer. ;)
@@___Puppet__Master___ Doubt the Xbox can do anything close to full pc ultra at 60fps, $4000 is silly too, you do not need to spend much more than half that.
I love the engines as loud as possible
The shape and sound of those engines is what got me into this world of flying. Remarkable machine.
You will be amazed with the performance of FS2020 considering its insane graphics, Run soo much better than x plane.
They should finish the Vulkan Engine. :/ I hope it won't take too long.
Nice edit, I laughed a few times :)
When you consider how much $ you would have spent on addons to achieve this and still being inferior to MSFS on most levels I would say no, it's not better. Add to this also the dreadful framerate in x-plane you get with a high end system. Compare base versions of each sim without any addons and I think the answer is clear!
Xplane 11 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>msfs2020
Yeah, there's really no comparison. People not calling it a "true sim" are delusional. I've never felt more immersed or that I'm actually flying than I do in MSFS. Add in WT's G3000 suite, or the PMDG DC-6, which is study level, there's TONS to do in the meantime while they continue to iron out the kinks.
@@BTSIMULATIONISBEST In your dreams, maybe.
@@BTSIMULATIONISBEST Wrong
Man that sound was amazing
Your not alone with wanting to hear loud engines. I’m the same. I actually am so disappointed that the newer engines are high bypass turbo fans instead of the old smaller turbo jets that had that beautiful & intoxicating turbo whine/whistle. I loved hearing those back in the day.
"Better than FS2020 ??"
"10-15 fps"
lol nope!
Right but that’s just his computer. I can currently run max settings on xplane with 50-60 FPS. And that includes the orbx photogrammetry scenery that he appears to be using in this video. Granted orbx only offers 5 states like that vs the entire world on msfs.
@Coolayyy Playz
Well, the x plane has been updated to 11.50version which added Vulcan driver,it can improve FPS,but if you trying to install those addons like in this video ,your FPS definitely dropped. So it's not about you pc configurations.

FS2020 looks amazing but its still misses that feeling of a true flight sim. and yes i love the engines being loud, especially when they are in harmony
Nice movie, great editing skills!!!! Wondering about how many add-ons were needed to get that....
Thanks! I listed most of addons in the description
thats jus straight up scary how realistic that is cause of the small noises everything makes is so real the annoumcements inside the cabin the seatbelt sign noise and even the little beeps r all so accurate to a real cabin
Yes same I like the sounds that the plane makes especially like with its shaking from taking off and u can hear that clatter it's kinda satisfying
Fun fact I flew on this exact plane in real life a week ago from Dallas to Seattle. same tail number and everything
4:53 i love that sound
My pc on x plane with add-ons: wow 60 fps
Me playing mfs2020 on my pc: bruh 1 fps
1hour later of me playing mfs2020
My pc: im burning!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
I ALWAYS pick a seat next to the engine. Love the brute power and sound! Thanks for the great content.
It sounds so real and looks so real.
I know its mods and editing but still.
as always, NASA pc is active
THAT'S INSANE but fs 20 don't need mods To be awesome you see ?
Just remember guys, more good stuff is to come for fs2020.
these edits are actual beauty
At landing the houses look beautiful
The thing with x plane is you need to download a whole bunch of junk onto your computer just to make it look good. Eventually you run out of space.
People who agree 👇
the thing is with mfs2020 is that you’d never be able to run it on ultra without a god tier pc
D3rpy the same with x plane though you need a really strong computer to run x plane at decent quality

@@RealPyro88 are you an alpha or a beta tester? from what I've read it performs excellent even on mediocre hardware.
But it’s not as realistic as FS 2020 because as you were taking off on the wing view I Saw a floating service truck!?

Amazing vid! Great job. And yes I love the take off loud sound!
the engine sound puts me to sleep like a baby
All that for more than $200, no thank you. FS 2020 is only $60. I vote for FS 2020.
Bye XP.
Better then fs2020 and then at 4:55 you can see a truck flying in the air. Yeah better for sure hahah
"BETTER THAN FS2020 ??" ...In a word: ...no.

congratulations!!!!! very very nice!!! I enjoyed watching this video a lot,I love X-Plane!!!! greetings from Uruguay
Love everyone is all about the looks: MSFS as of now has terrible flight characteristics for the big jets. This is where it fails to simulate flight. It's like Forza: looks nice and shiny but is nowhere simulation.

Gosh! And this is X-plane? The graphics looks so awesome that it makes it look like as if you were actually onboard that exact plane, other than the awesome sound of the engines. Awesome video! I feel like as if I was actually onboard that flight, just by watching this video in full screen view. Keep up the good work!
