We are back again with another wonderful series on offbeat places of Kashmir. These videos were shot in Aug 2021.
Episode 1 : Srinagar to Gurez Valley
We had started our journey from Srinagar early in the morning and after crossing Bandipore we reached on the highest pass of this route i.e Razdan Pass.
We took around 7 hrs to reach Gurez Valley from Srinagar.

On otherside of the LOC Gurez Valley on this side its called naleem Valley is no doubt is awesome place to visit. Its different from other parts of kashmir

nice place..gurez valley..a big brown adult bear had sneaked upto my vehicle as i was doing night photography on kishanganga river banks on the outskirts of dawar few weeks ago..the bear was chased away by some stray dogs and my torch light..definitely gurez valley deserves repeat visits
oh wow... that must have been one hell of an experience i must say..
we were not outside after 7pm so can't say but the place is so raw... m sure even local people would have their own such experiences.
@@DesiWanderer ya, one local told me next day that 2 days earlier a mama bear with 2 cubs had sneaked into his apple orchard at midnight in dawar and when chased by dogs they just went though the barbed wire fencing around the orchard ..even i saw some bear hair still stuck into that barbed wire fence
Homeland of Brown bear is Deosai plains on ourside of Kashmir....besides u can also find snow leopard, musk deer in Naltar and Fairy Meadows....
