To get hard to bond pieces to bond with 99¢ superglue, just sand the surfaces that you want to bond together. Sanding increases the surface area for the glue to seep into and grab hold of and offers a kind of rough, microscopic 'puzzle piece' texture. I use it when bonding together very thin sheets of aluminum, offering a smooth, robust surface for precisely scribing details, which I then apply to scratch built cardboard models.
+Interstellar Modeler Yes sir, I follow on Facebook. It's a tease though cuz I have to wait for the vids to come out. haha. Your vids are what got me into modeling and I do appreciate you taking the time to explain especially for a noobie like myself.
You should invest in a Mr Hobby GSI Creos Scribe set. The attachable heads come in various sizes and various groove cut. V-shape, flat, and round. Reasonably priced. Tamiya scribe is nice but hard to work with in small spaces and not very useful on small model projects.
Good job blanking off the inner wing and scribing in the detail. Lighting looks terrific. Keep up the good work. Bill
meticulous work as always. A pleasure to watch. ☺
brilliant set of videos! particularly enjoy and learn from your showing the practical application.
Thank you for your kind comments and for watching.

Great tip. Polypropylene was definitely a different animal to work with and that would really help. Appreciate the advice, thanks.
@@InterstellarModeler what is the Locktite stuff you used? I cant find it...
