In my younger years i always wanted the Bloody Nose deck from playing THPS, and as an adult, i got back into skating and bought that deck. been like a childhood dream come true! Brandon is an animal. One of the greatest, doin shit like that. I remember seeing him grind some crazy ass rail with a huge gap to the street in a homie video, had to be a decade ago it seems. Wish I knew which one it was but I knew he was destined for great things. Reggie rules too, love his style. I still have Thrill of it All, Misled Youth and Dying to Live on VHS in my closet. ZERO has been kicking ass in the industry since the beginning! Thrill Of It All and Misled Youth have been getting me pumped up before skate sessions for over 20 years! 🤜🏽🤛🏽
I used to try to do this sport, but too many falls and I had to stop. Those who stick with it have achieved something that few other people ever could. Watching these falls brings back memories of pain.
This isn't the only style of skating. Look at how good Sewa is. He doesn't do anything crazy but he's super tech and can still handle stairs and rails. You don't have to do big shit. Rodney mullen and daewon are more examples. How many people in the world can skate like them? Remember deawon was doing hesh shit too. He did the 18 wheeler to 18 wheeler gap, the roof top gap and more but his main shit was tech.
That long crook Brandon did at the berrics was one of the best looking tricks ever. I'd say probably 7 or 8 of my first dozen boards were ZERO before I got really into AWS and the local shop boards. Always gonna have a soft spot for them

I’m really diggin’ how this video shows progression. It doesn’t have skaters that already have every trick in the bag looking perfect. This is what reminds me of the “good ol days” of skating. Fuck yeah guys, tear it up 🤘🏼
0:20 is undoubtedly the goofiest fall I’ve ever seen. He falls like the NPC’s in GTA 4 when they get hit by a car and he just gets up and walks away in the same fashion.
not to hate on all the youtube skaters out there but man when i watch skating like this i realize how much better dudes like reggie are than these very popular youtube skaters of today.
Skateboarding is my favorite sport of all time. This sport eats up and spits out the quilters. This sport taught me so much about dedication and not giving up. Then when all seem lost and it seems impossible you land that trick and it keeps you craving more.
Skateboarding is one of the most brutal rewarding sports created. You literally gotta take that pain but the payoff for 2-3 seconds of a perfectly landed trick is always the best.
I love rough cuts. I never like seeing the hard slams (the one at 0:19 is the thing of nightmares). Thank you to all those who keep killing it. Obviously they do it because they love it, not for us. But still appreciated. 🙌
3:45 smart fall! I see so many people break arms trying to stop themselves from falling. I learned in close quarters combat training in the military to never straighten your arm out when you go down. I curl up or take it on the elbows.
I am pushing 60 and think of skateboarding and painkillers every single day. Skated locally in my teens and for 2 local park teams during the 70s/80s era. The sport that keeps on giving haha.. Got knocked out 2x but wore a helmet. Kids wear a helmet.
ZERO stays gnarly. 10:06 brought me back to Chris Cole's part in New Blood. Same yell right at the opening of his part (when he kicks his board back up Wallenberg and the drums from Joan Jett kicks in, screen turns black and white, and the bloody text appears). So sick.
