I was reading the novel and it was quite interesting, until the moment MC started forgiving all the girl's misdeeds. That was when I stopped reading. BULLSH*T!!! There is another novel, which is almost identical to this one, seriously, the story is too identical to be considered a mere coincidence, even the title is kinda similar, maybe they are from the same author? The title is: "No One Believed Me. If You Say You Believe Me Now, It’s Too Late" I found this one better cuz here, MC doesn't simple forgive the girls, he just forget them cuz he find one who experienced the same kind of sh*t he did and they decide to help each other by being loyal friends.
Yeah that one was better because he actually has a better reason to be the way he is. One was betrayed and had his reputation and relationships with other people ruined. While this one he just gets betrayed by a girl and cries about it but is never in a situation where his classmates are looking at him like he's a predator.
@@404Kiwi My main complaint with that other novel, which is also a prevalent problem on this one, is the fact that EVERYTHING could have been solved if the characters talked with each other, but no, every single one of them doesn't to talk when they need to talk, be it to give or to ask for an explanation, they just stay silent making the misuderstandings piling up. And what makes this behavior so annoying is the fact that it is not a natural behavior, but something the author is forcing the characters to do, so he can keep building the drama. I can understand these type of situations happening a few times, but the way the author abuses of its use, makes it completely artificial and unbelievable. Well, I know this is a hugely common trope in japanese drama writing, but is still annoying, nonetheless.

About the fact you've read the novel, can u tell me some details about the childhood friend... I've just read the few manga chapters available, because for real her behaviour in past against MChas totally no sense, I don't know if it's just bad adaption or something got cut in manga or it's the same in the novel, so can confirm me if I am right or not : -From what I understood, She knew well MC has feelings for her from a lot of times and spend a lot of their free time togheter. - Then We see her feeling jealous because MC is quite popular and has good relationship with everyone, other girls included - Then for the fact other girls have boyfriends, Suddenly she decide to date another guy different than MC LMAO - When MC declared her feelings to her, she rejected him instantly and quite the harsh way - She spent a pair of weeks with this guy going around in front of MC - Then for around 2/3 weeks, she continued the relationship with this guy going dates (and much more :3) for then ending it - After this relationship having dates and other bs, at the end she come the conclusion something was wrong and felt guilty because now she remind of maybe having break the hearth of MC - For all this time, despite from the same location, she didnt tried to clarify nothing or at least talk with MC More and less that's what happened I'm right, anway for now I can't understand at all this character it seems at bare least so selfish and retarted, but seems author doesnt want to present the character in this way , but at the same time... such a MESS, it has totally no sense 😂😂😂
@@aleger620 So, the exact reasoning behind the childhood friend bullsh*t behavior is: SPOILER ALERT. . . . . . . . . 1 - MC has some traumas from his childhood. His mother neglected him because of work. At some point, MC stoped looking for his mother's affection and directed this natural desire to his older sister, but his older sister was also an immature child (she is just one year older then MC), who couldn't deal with this responsibility. As the time passed and the weight became more and more unbereable, she snaped with her little brother, shouting she wished he disappeared and pushed him away, which made him fall and hit the head on the ground. Seeing the pool of blood forming on the ground around his brother's head, she became afraid and fled from the place where this acident happened, leaving her brother behind, alone. After their mother arrived, she told to her what happened, but they couldn't find MC on the place his sister had left him. He disappeared. Only six days after, the police found him walking alone in a place far away from his home, with his head literally cracked. Once brought back home, he asked to his sister to forgive him because he couldn't disappear as he wished. 2 - Because of these traumas, MC turned into a very cold teenager. He believed his family hated him. And here comes the reason of his childhood friend bullsh*t. Because he had this cold personality, his childhood friend thought he didn't care about her (she started to think like this because of her own her own jealousy, from seeing how handsome MC had become and how all the girls in school started to look at him), this impression of her became even more strong when she told to him that she was confessed by her senpai and he didn't react to that story at all. She did that to see if he would get jealous, which would be a signal that he liked her. As MC had the same cold reaction as ever, she became quite angry with him and decided to push this "make him jealous" idea further by accepting her senpai's confession. She thought that in doing this, he would show some reaction. Well, the result you already know. 3 - The order of events and dialogs on the manga aren't the same from the novel. In the novel, MC didn't confessed to her, it was her that called him at that place to tell him that she had decided to date the senpai (to provoke a reaction on him), but her plan backfired. Instead of becoming jealous, he wished her happiness and also told her that he was planning to confess his feelings to her in the next festival. 4 - Around two weeks after starting dating with her senpai, and seeing that her plan didn't work, she broke up with him, but he got angry with her and spread rumors on the school that he had sex with her, which made the situation even more complicated for her. From here on out, is the bullsh*t I complained about. All this sh*t could be solved if she just talked to him, telling him the truth, that it was all a lie, but no, she had hold that truth for two years, even at the cost of screwing her and mc's life.
The childhood friend, yeah, but almost everyone else is just good old "It's just a misunderstanding", there's nothing much to go for revenge, they actually get emotional damage on regret, that's already painful enough for most of what they did here. A case for revenge would be like, the ponytail girl mean to break his arm and to say those things, then yeah revenge would be on point.
MC doesn't have the mental for it as he's way too whacked in the head. He has no motivation to do it. Might want to head to Arifureta, Shield Hero (not the anime, as it botches up the revenge) or that upcoming one - Failure Frame (bit of a slow burn though, but I like the MC in that one) for that fix.
...Isn't moving on with your life, focusing on yourself and living your best life the best way you can is a form of revenge? Vengeance is not always about resorting to violence you know.
I see these and always think of the quote. The axe forgets, but the tree remembers. I forget which one that is from, but I remember it hitting hard how the mc gets isolated by mom,sis,crush then the entire school. Its sad but was good
I've read the web novel. It was decent, every girl introduced has done something hurtful to MC except that one college girl he saved. Its a complete harem where every girl tries to make amends for their past deeds. I sometimes don't get MC's thinking process, MC do says that he has forgiven them but every girl thinks that he has not. I stopped reading it around when MC's family goes to Hot springs. Warning: It has incest and oyakodon. MC's sister and Mother tried to sexually attract MC even that school teacher too.
I think you should read it again. MC already forgive them and doesn't want to do with them anymore. But the gravity of their situation makes the girls he's involved with think that they should do whatever it takes to bring back their relationship before the drama. PS. I like the girl he's with in the rooftop. Their chemistry is great.
Don't forget the Aunt who's probably close a mother figure. The 2 Elementary School Teachers. (One of them became his homeroom teacher in highschool. The other quit teaching after the incident with MC and became his next door neighbor when the story starts.) (Honestly that was heartbreaking to read) I think there was a lawyer he helped. (Helped her while she was drunk at a hotspring resort. No issue done he just helped her.) The School Council President and the one who knows the school Council President (Incident in the train) That other girl in school who speaks with. (No clue if she did anything to the MC yet. It's probably hinting it) I think that's all of them so far as I remember. (Last I read was last year. So my memory is off a bit) Besides the 3 girls, his mom and sister. Oh and that college girl who he met on the same train as the School Council president and co. (She was awesome in that moment)
Honestly the stuff the mc went through is just sad. The worst ones would be his sister trying to kill him when they were kids. The student council president accusing him of being a molester ruining his reputation and almost getting him expelled. And all the other things the girls did. And the Aunt hypnotizing the mc to lock away pretty much all his emotions basically turning him into a sociopath to "prevent him from killing himself". And the stuff the girls did to "apologize" and "make amends" would traumatize normal people too. Like 90% of the shit the girls did to apologize would give trauma to normal people but the Mc just accepts it because he is pretty much a sociopath.
This entire story actually annoyed the hell out of me and no I am not going to explain why because if I did I would only get a headache remembering all the reasons why I hate the characters that aren't the MC.
For what it's worth, there are a few that do stick up for him; such as the sick college student on the train that vouched for him. His aunt didn't really do him dirty. Plus, there's best girl: Goddess-senpai.
I actually started hating the MC when he was about to go after a dude who retaliated against one of the girls for breaking his heart and using him to make MC jealous.
spoiler and the biggest tragic background down here 👇👇 For people curious basically the MC is super popular with girls and allows gives a helping hand but at the same time he has no luck and all the girls for some reason have hurt him in some way. A lot of it are little things but they all add up in the end. Like for instance the girl he liked when he held her hand she slapped his away and then wiped it clean like he had gotten her dirty (she was actually embarassed and thought her hand was sweaty), sister was put in charge or making lunch for her + MC and got praised by Mom for doing it when in fact the MC was the one making lunches and the sister just took credit for his work. Spoilers on events Mom - She basically neglected and ignored the MC because she was busy with work and then somehow this became the norm where she doesn't care about the MC while in fact she does but she has no idea how to change things. Big sister - She is basically the starting point, basically because of the mom being busy she had to take care of him and thought it was annoying, she also thought that the Mom liked him more and then finally because of his popularity with girls when they were at a playground her friend was all over him so she got mad thinking she liked him more as well so she pushed him off the top of a playground equipment while screaming that she hated him and wanted him to dissapear. MC was confused and didn't understand why she was doing it and asked why to which she responded it was because she hated him. He got really hurt and almost died from this but was luckily found in time but he then told her he was sorry he couldn't dissapear, after this his whole demeanor changed from a happy kid to super gloomy. Neighbour - She was a teacher in training during his first few years at school, during that time a crime happened and the MC got accused of it, there was no evidence but neighbour + teacher tried to force him to confess but he refused since he didn't do it. Then everyone in class started bullying him, destroying his things and eventually the MC got into a fight with some guys while the class just watched instead of helping him, neighbour + teacher of course only turned up when he decided to fight back but then him being innocent came to light and everyone tried to make up with the MC but he refused seeing them all as enemies now. Childhood friend - Basically she + MC both loved each other and at the time she was the only support for the MC but she was very insecure and jealous of how popular the MC was with other girls. She also started to get insecure if the MC even liked her and then a random senpai confessed to her so she decided to accept and be with the senpai to make the MC jealous and care for her. She then started telling the MC about the senpai and the MC then confessed his feelings for her which shocked her and she became a bit angry saying a bunch of hurtful things while also wanting to accept and tell him she loved him too but because she first had to settle her relationship with the senpai she didn't say anything. She then went and broke it off with the senpai who got mad and spread rumours about them sleeping together. Then the two drifted apart and the MC decided to dedicate all his time to basketball. Manager - She quickly fell in love with the MC because of his dedication to basketball and then decided to confess right before their most important tournament. MC told her he had to think about it and would give her an answer after the tournament. Then she got teased by the other girls about her love for the MC and she got all embarassed and defensive screaming about how she never liked the MC and only cared about him and helped him out because he was so gloomy and a loner so she felt bad for him. Of course the MC was there and heard it all. She then went and confronted him demanding his response to her confession at this point the MC didn't believe it was real and just tried to leave down some stairs. She then got mad and tried to grab him but tripped and was about to fall down the stairs but instead the MC caught her but in turn he broke his right hand and was unable to play in the tournament or any basketball. So basically Mom was never there and neglected him - Big sis who he loved and adored tried to kill him and said a lot of hurtful things - Neighbour + teacher turned all his classmates + friends against him - Childhood friend who was his only support and love got "stolen" and "never liked him" - Manager made him believe he was given a false confession to make fun of him and then destroyed his dream and love for basketball. That's basically the major things and the background up to this point. There are some more stuff with others girls and some more stuff that will happen as the story goes on.
If i were mc, i will go to another city or even country to start a new one. Sometimes you need to find place that accept you. If he still stay in that place, it will consume him. I cant stay him being hurt by other more.
I've never heard of a situation where a guy with apparently natural rizz gets such a bull crap situations with ladies I mean dang! He and another MC whose been through similar things(even looks like this MC) has weirdly traumatic luck. -To the mom, could just apologize and take time from work to spend them with her kids. -Big sis, could admit her wrongs and let MC know he isn't hated it was jealousy(though it's no excuse but it's something) -Childhood friend, apologize and give up on getting back together. The MC has to live with his family for awhile so they can try so he at least has peace at home but she can screw off -Manager, same thing as the childhood friend.

Funny thing is he really good at gathering attention of important people, that he get the interest of former minister of education when they talk with each other at the beach during school suspension arc or something
You see I remember reading this a long time ago and the story always just irked me. It's like a lot of stories nowadays are trying to say that a guy should just forgive people who screw him over like nothing ever happened. I was like yes I can forgive someone for the things that they have done in the past. However that does not mean I should trust them to the same extent nor does it mean they shouldn't be punished for their deeds toward me.
I wouldn't say it's misunderstandings per say. With the Crush she thought he'd get jealous and confess if she told him she was dating the Senpai he did but he also accepted her decision to date Senpai and left, senpai also tried to force himself on her afterwards since she was telling people they were dating and all. His sister almost killed him and left him for dead when they were kids and while be never told their mother what happened his sister isn't sure how to deal with him so she became overprotective and lashing out at other girls thinking they might try to hurt him like she did
Oh yes, this one. MC is too fucked up in the head so all his negative self comments and denseness can be forgiven, unlike most harem MCs. Most girls that are introduced have hurt him in one way or another, miscommunication being a big part of it so you'll hate most of them. And it would all be better if they just left him alone and stopped trying to "make it better" just to satisfy their own guilty conscience. His healing can first start at his home and then branch out but these girls trying so hard are more annoying than anything else. Also, Goddess Senpai best girl
Yep, the MC is almost me in someway. I do have people who hurts me emotionally, and I’ll remember that and hates those people for life time and never forgive them. Even they have a descendent. I used to be kind towards other people and just being nice to them. But sadly people always take the advantages of a kind person. So I fed up with it. Then suddenly they complain to me I’m being cold despite it’s their fault to cause me to be like that.
I read a few chapters, it annoyed me, TBH. MC is pretty wishywashy. He does not want the girls in his life, yet never rejects them fully. Sometimes helping them, other times hurting them by throwing their misdeeds in their face. He keeps them around, but is cold towards them. Is he punishing them? Why does he help them then? Give them false hope or something? I feel like the author doesn't really know which direction to go in.
He also never bothers to make a platonic relationship or a friendship with another male. The author kinda made it seem like he can only see a women as a romantic interest and never just a normal friend. Ffs he even wrote it so his mother and aunt were on his D.
If you read later on, you begin to realize that you can't really blame him (SPOILERS) He was pretty much taught he had no one to turn to. - Family? Not his mom who;'s basically neglected him. Not to mention he believes his sister and mom (his only two direct family) actively hate him or think of him as a nuisance. - Friends? Not from the elementary school bullying incident. - Teachers or reliable adults? See above. - His childhood friend who served as the one lifeline out of this madness? Left him. - A hope for a new start? Such as a hobby that he could put all his effort into or maybe a new girlfriend? Crushed by Kamishiro (the basketball manager) The whole pull of the novel is SUPPOSED to be: - He's a ticking timer. If he reaches graduation (by the way, Japanese high school is 3 years, not 4), he'll leave every single one of them and of course they don't want that - Even though leaving actually IS the best thing for him, he has no resources, no support network, nothing. Leaving would be mentally healthy, but he has a VERY steep hill to climb. - Closure for all of the girls' story arcs - Somehow, some way, the MC finds a way out of this whole nightmare - Biggest problem is that he has seriously terrible luck with meeting new acquaintances because it's like 1 in every 4 or 5 people do NOT end up hurting him or giving him a mess to deal with in some way. ...sadly, there is a lot of harem hijinks (with incest thrown in), distractions, and bullshit thrown his way.

I read the novel and honestly it really hard for me to follow it. The mc like to go into this unrelated monologue about philoasphy in one dialogue and then suddenly other character just jump into dialogue that make me feel like "wait, did i skip a page or chapter?". Reading this novel is like if you tried to follow a tour guide so you don't get lost and the you blink one second and suddenly you in a different place than before (at least for me).
To be fair, the MC in Nyanta and Pomeko was in a position to forgive them (mostly the step mom and sister) eventually. In this one he just mentally disassociates from them entirely to the point of where he barely holds a grudge (if at all) against them.

Have you heard about people saying thing like “ a son deserve any mother but a mother doesn't deserve any son ”? If you have, then you know that everything his so called mother did to him which is neglecting SHOULD NOT be tolerated and forgiven. Reminder: The mother is the first to cause all of this problem by pushing him to his limit then after going through with the other girls, he became who he is.
This is one of the edgiest angstiest manga I have ever seen. MC has the most generic Kirito face protagonist that Japan seems to love so much. He is excessively self-loathing and assumes the worst intentions from other people who actually think normally. I actually cringed at his introduction, yet others around him somewhat praise him. Based on that last part, it seems like none of the girls that traumatized him genuinely hate him, which adds more to the frustration. I know it's hard but dude just stop angsting and TALK with them. At the very least, make up with your sis. Yet despite all I said, I kinda wanna see more just to know what happens to this supposed dumpster fire of teen angst. Edit: From the looks of it, MC kun is Pityfishing with the readers (Thanks Urbandictionary, can't find the right word for what he's doing in my original post). His problems are really not as bad as what others go through, but he treats his "woman problem" like it's the worst thing ever that he can't move on from it.

I stopped reading this when I found out that his sister (someone confirm if she is his stepsister, please) tried to kill him but he survived with his skull fracture and walked for hours until people from another town helped him. His mother didn't know he was missing. the whole thing disgusted me

So just from this preview, his childhood friend coldly rejected him, the friend from the basketball team pushed him down a flight of stairs and his sister... did something? No idea. Don't like it. I'm not a fan of abusive women changing their minds and deciding the MC is good enough just cause his quirky or handsome now.

The friend from the basketball club, when teased by her friend about their relationship. she, because she was shy, denied that she liked him (just before that, she actually asking him out) not knowing that he was standing behind her. His mom was never there for him and his sister. Everything starts from the mom. Because of his mom, he starts having pessimistic point of view.

This manga is depressing. The MC is a Jackass. He thinks his classmates and sister are turning against him when they're only trying to help him since he got dumped by his GF. I read comments saying he should get revenge on his classmates. What does vengeance have to do with this? The MC needed help but he's being a Jackass. The MC getting vengeance will only make it worse turning him into a sociopath and ending up getting executed.
Couple of problems with that: - His life before the start of the manga is a trauma conga line and cannot be solved with something as simple as "Just meet more people" - His luck is actually so bad that let's say 4/5 times meeting new people, something terrible happens to him.
Changing owners does not make you free. If you truly make your life 100% dependent on others, than shit like this is bound to happen when is lucrative to other people. Gotta remember that 5000 b.C Egyptians where already using forced labour to build giant piramids for no concrete reasons beside religion. That means human beings are super tribalist and until you are accepted as one of their own, you have high changes of not knowing people well enough and get used. The mother neglected him, regret and try to fix that mistake. The sister act like the master of a pet to the point his own brother develop a mind of slave and regret and try to fix that mistake. The childhood friend lie to him to the point he has trust issues that can't be fix in any sorts of way and had the audacity to fix his mistake. The girl who hurt him to the point his happiness disoriented with Delusional cause him to lose the meaning of his life and regret and thought she can fix her mistake. The Mc become so broken, depressed, stress, hurt and SUICIDAL. He genuinely doesn't really care about his own life anymore to the point he rather got arrested or killed by anything. He live in his delusion to spend some life so that people don't think his different and broken. If this happens to someone, Your statement would completely be irrelevant. You basically telling me that suicidal thoughts never took a human life. My guy MC is not a moron or an idiot and maybe dumb. No he's not. Reason i heavily disliked this one is because the MC never bothers trying to have a normal platonic relationship or just a friendship with another dude. He only went after giels and continues to make friendships and associate with women after being burnt so many times. The thing the aunt did to him is stupid and the flashback to his elementary school was too cringe. He's borderline mary sue.

I was reading the novel and it was quite interesting, until the moment MC started forgiving all the girl's misdeeds. That was when I stopped reading. BULLSH*T!!!
There is another novel, which is almost identical to this one, seriously, the story is too identical to be considered a mere coincidence, even the title is kinda similar, maybe they are from the same author? The title is: "No One Believed Me. If You Say You Believe Me Now, It’s Too Late"
I found this one better cuz here, MC doesn't simple forgive the girls, he just forget them cuz he find one who experienced the same kind of sh*t he did and they decide to help each other by being loyal friends.
Yeah that one was better because he actually has a better reason to be the way he is. One was betrayed and had his reputation and relationships with other people ruined. While this one he just gets betrayed by a girl and cries about it but is never in a situation where his classmates are looking at him like he's a predator.
@@404Kiwi My main complaint with that other novel, which is also a prevalent problem on this one, is the fact that EVERYTHING could have been solved if the characters talked with each other, but no, every single one of them doesn't to talk when they need to talk, be it to give or to ask for an explanation, they just stay silent making the misuderstandings piling up. And what makes this behavior so annoying is the fact that it is not a natural behavior, but something the author is forcing the characters to do, so he can keep building the drama. I can understand these type of situations happening a few times, but the way the author abuses of its use, makes it completely artificial and unbelievable. Well, I know this is a hugely common trope in japanese drama writing, but is still annoying, nonetheless.

About the fact you've read the novel, can u tell me some details about the childhood friend... I've just read the few manga chapters available, because for real her behaviour in past against MChas totally no sense, I don't know if it's just bad adaption or something got cut in manga or it's the same in the novel, so can confirm me if I am right or not :
-From what I understood, She knew well MC has feelings for her from a lot of times and spend a lot of their free time togheter.
- Then We see her feeling jealous because MC is quite popular and has good relationship with everyone, other girls included
- Then for the fact other girls have boyfriends, Suddenly she decide to date another guy different than MC LMAO
- When MC declared her feelings to her, she rejected him instantly and quite the harsh way
- She spent a pair of weeks with this guy going around in front of MC
- Then for around 2/3 weeks, she continued the relationship with this guy going dates (and much more :3) for then ending it
- After this relationship having dates and other bs, at the end she come the conclusion something was wrong and felt guilty because now she remind of maybe having break the hearth of MC
- For all this time, despite from the same location, she didnt tried to clarify nothing or at least talk with MC

1 - MC has some traumas from his childhood. His mother neglected him because of work. At some point, MC stoped looking for his mother's affection and directed this natural desire to his older sister, but his older sister was also an immature child (she is just one year older then MC), who couldn't deal with this responsibility. As the time passed and the weight became more and more unbereable, she snaped with her little brother, shouting she wished he disappeared and pushed him away, which made him fall and hit the head on the ground. Seeing the pool of blood forming on the ground around his brother's head, she became afraid and fled from the place where this acident happened, leaving her brother behind, alone. After their mother arrived, she told to her what happened, but they couldn't find MC on the place his sister had left him. He disappeared. Only six days after, the police found him walking alone in a place far away from his home, with his head literally cracked. Once brought back home, he asked to his sister to forgive him because he couldn't disappear as he wished.
2 - Because of these traumas, MC turned into a very cold teenager. He believed his family hated him. And here comes the reason of his childhood friend bullsh*t. Because he had this cold personality, his childhood friend thought he didn't care about her (she started to think like this because of her own her own jealousy, from seeing how handsome MC had become and how all the girls in school started to look at him), this impression of her became even more strong when she told to him that she was confessed by her senpai and he didn't react to that story at all. She did that to see if he would get jealous, which would be a signal that he liked her. As MC had the same cold reaction as ever, she became quite angry with him and decided to push this "make him jealous" idea further by accepting her senpai's confession. She thought that in doing this, he would show some reaction. Well, the result you already know.
3 - The order of events and dialogs on the manga aren't the same from the novel. In the novel, MC didn't confessed to her, it was her that called him at that place to tell him that she had decided to date the senpai (to provoke a reaction on him), but her plan backfired. Instead of becoming jealous, he wished her happiness and also told her that he was planning to confess his feelings to her in the next festival.
4 - Around two weeks after starting dating with her senpai, and seeing that her plan didn't work, she broke up with him, but he got angry with her and spread rumors on the school that he had sex with her, which made the situation even more complicated for her.
From here on out, is the bullsh*t I complained about. All this sh*t could be solved if she just talked to him, telling him the truth, that it was all a lie, but no, she had hold that truth for two years, even at the cost of screwing her and mc's life.
Worst manga ever, first they crush him for no reason and then they want from him to act like nothing happaned, WHERE IS THE REVENGE?!?!?!
The childhood friend, yeah, but almost everyone else is just good old "It's just a misunderstanding", there's nothing much to go for revenge, they actually get emotional damage on regret, that's already painful enough for most of what they did here.
A case for revenge would be like, the ponytail girl mean to break his arm and to say those things, then yeah revenge would be on point.
MC doesn't have the mental for it as he's way too whacked in the head. He has no motivation to do it.
Might want to head to Arifureta, Shield Hero (not the anime, as it botches up the revenge) or that upcoming one - Failure Frame (bit of a slow burn though, but I like the MC in that one) for that fix.

I've read the web novel. It was decent, every girl introduced has done something hurtful to MC except that one college girl he saved. Its a complete harem where every girl tries to make amends for their past deeds. I sometimes don't get MC's thinking process, MC do says that he has forgiven them but every girl thinks that he has not. I stopped reading it around when MC's family goes to Hot springs.
Warning: It has incest and oyakodon. MC's sister and Mother tried to sexually attract MC even that school teacher too.
I think you should read it again. MC already forgive them and doesn't want to do with them anymore. But the gravity of their situation makes the girls he's involved with think that they should do whatever it takes to bring back their relationship before the drama.
PS. I like the girl he's with in the rooftop. Their chemistry is great.

And the Aunt hypnotizing the mc to lock away pretty much all his emotions basically turning him into a sociopath to "prevent him from killing himself". And the stuff the girls did to "apologize" and "make amends" would traumatize normal people too. Like 90% of the shit the girls did to apologize would give trauma to normal people but the Mc just accepts it because he is pretty much a sociopath.

This entire story actually annoyed the hell out of me and no I am not going to explain why because if I did I would only get a headache remembering all the reasons why I hate the characters that aren't the MC.

For people curious basically the MC is super popular with girls and allows gives a helping hand but at the same time he has no luck and all the girls for some reason have hurt him in some way. A lot of it are little things but they all add up in the end. Like for instance the girl he liked when he held her hand she slapped his away and then wiped it clean like he had gotten her dirty (she was actually embarassed and thought her hand was sweaty), sister was put in charge or making lunch for her + MC and got praised by Mom for doing it when in fact the MC was the one making lunches and the sister just took credit for his work.
Spoilers on events
Mom - She basically neglected and ignored the MC because she was busy with work and then somehow this became the norm where she doesn't care about the MC while in fact she does but she has no idea how to change things.
Big sister - She is basically the starting point, basically because of the mom being busy she had to take care of him and thought it was annoying, she also thought that the Mom liked him more and then finally because of his popularity with girls when they were at a playground her friend was all over him so she got mad thinking she liked him more as well so she pushed him off the top of a playground equipment while screaming that she hated him and wanted him to dissapear. MC was confused and didn't understand why she was doing it and asked why to which she responded it was because she hated him. He got really hurt and almost died from this but was luckily found in time but he then told her he was sorry he couldn't dissapear, after this his whole demeanor changed from a happy kid to super gloomy.
Neighbour - She was a teacher in training during his first few years at school, during that time a crime happened and the MC got accused of it, there was no evidence but neighbour + teacher tried to force him to confess but he refused since he didn't do it. Then everyone in class started bullying him, destroying his things and eventually the MC got into a fight with some guys while the class just watched instead of helping him, neighbour + teacher of course only turned up when he decided to fight back but then him being innocent came to light and everyone tried to make up with the MC but he refused seeing them all as enemies now.
Childhood friend - Basically she + MC both loved each other and at the time she was the only support for the MC but she was very insecure and jealous of how popular the MC was with other girls. She also started to get insecure if the MC even liked her and then a random senpai confessed to her so she decided to accept and be with the senpai to make the MC jealous and care for her. She then started telling the MC about the senpai and the MC then confessed his feelings for her which shocked her and she became a bit angry saying a bunch of hurtful things while also wanting to accept and tell him she loved him too but because she first had to settle her relationship with the senpai she didn't say anything. She then went and broke it off with the senpai who got mad and spread rumours about them sleeping together. Then the two drifted apart and the MC decided to dedicate all his time to basketball.
Manager - She quickly fell in love with the MC because of his dedication to basketball and then decided to confess right before their most important tournament. MC told her he had to think about it and would give her an answer after the tournament. Then she got teased by the other girls about her love for the MC and she got all embarassed and defensive screaming about how she never liked the MC and only cared about him and helped him out because he was so gloomy and a loner so she felt bad for him. Of course the MC was there and heard it all. She then went and confronted him demanding his response to her confession at this point the MC didn't believe it was real and just tried to leave down some stairs. She then got mad and tried to grab him but tripped and was about to fall down the stairs but instead the MC caught her but in turn he broke his right hand and was unable to play in the tournament or any basketball.
So basically Mom was never there and neglected him - Big sis who he loved and adored tried to kill him and said a lot of hurtful things - Neighbour + teacher turned all his classmates + friends against him - Childhood friend who was his only support and love got "stolen" and "never liked him" - Manager made him believe he was given a false confession to make fun of him and then destroyed his dream and love for basketball.
That's basically the major things and the background up to this point. There are some more stuff with others girls and some more stuff that will happen as the story goes on.

You see I remember reading this a long time ago and the story always just irked me. It's like a lot of stories nowadays are trying to say that a guy should just forgive people who screw him over like nothing ever happened. I was like yes I can forgive someone for the things that they have done in the past. However that does not mean I should trust them to the same extent nor does it mean they shouldn't be punished for their deeds toward me.

With the Crush she thought he'd get jealous and confess if she told him she was dating the Senpai he did but he also accepted her decision to date Senpai and left, senpai also tried to force himself on her afterwards since she was telling people they were dating and all. His sister almost killed him and left him for dead when they were kids and while be never told their mother what happened his sister isn't sure how to deal with him so she became overprotective and lashing out at other girls thinking they might try to hurt him like she did

I read a few chapters, it annoyed me, TBH.
MC is pretty wishywashy. He does not want the girls in his life, yet never rejects them fully. Sometimes helping them, other times hurting them by throwing their misdeeds in their face. He keeps them around, but is cold towards them. Is he punishing them? Why does he help them then? Give them false hope or something? I feel like the author doesn't really know which direction to go in.
He also never bothers to make a platonic relationship or a friendship with another male. The author kinda made it seem like he can only see a women as a romantic interest and never just a normal friend. Ffs he even wrote it so his mother and aunt were on his D.
The author was dropped landing head first when he was a baby. 😂
If you read later on, you begin to realize that you can't really blame him (SPOILERS)
He was pretty much taught he had no one to turn to.
- Family? Not his mom who;'s basically neglected him. Not to mention he believes his sister and mom (his only two direct family) actively hate him or think of him as a nuisance.
- Friends? Not from the elementary school bullying incident.
- Teachers or reliable adults? See above.
- His childhood friend who served as the one lifeline out of this madness? Left him.
- A hope for a new start? Such as a hobby that he could put all his effort into or maybe a new girlfriend? Crushed by Kamishiro (the basketball manager)
The whole pull of the novel is SUPPOSED to be:
- He's a ticking timer. If he reaches graduation (by the way, Japanese high school is 3 years, not 4), he'll leave every single one of them and of course they don't want that
- Even though leaving actually IS the best thing for him, he has no resources, no support network, nothing. Leaving would be mentally healthy, but he has a VERY steep hill to climb.
- Closure for all of the girls' story arcs
- Somehow, some way, the MC finds a way out of this whole nightmare
- Biggest problem is that he has seriously terrible luck with meeting new acquaintances because it's like 1 in every 4 or 5 people do NOT end up hurting him or giving him a mess to deal with in some way.
...sadly, there is a lot of harem hijinks (with incest thrown in), distractions, and bullshit thrown his way.

Judging by the thumbnail, guess I'm in for quite a ride
I read the novel and honestly it really hard for me to follow it. The mc like to go into this unrelated monologue about philoasphy in one dialogue and then suddenly other character just jump into dialogue that make me feel like "wait, did i skip a page or chapter?". Reading this novel is like if you tried to follow a tour guide so you don't get lost and the you blink one second and suddenly you in a different place than before (at least for me).

To be fair, the MC in Nyanta and Pomeko was in a position to forgive them (mostly the step mom and sister) eventually.

This is one of the edgiest angstiest manga I have ever seen. MC has the most generic Kirito face protagonist that Japan seems to love so much. He is excessively self-loathing and assumes the worst intentions from other people who actually think normally. I actually cringed at his introduction, yet others around him somewhat praise him.
Based on that last part, it seems like none of the girls that traumatized him genuinely hate him, which adds more to the frustration. I know it's hard but dude just stop angsting and TALK with them. At the very least, make up with your sis.
Yet despite all I said, I kinda wanna see more just to know what happens to this supposed dumpster fire of teen angst.
Edit: From the looks of it, MC kun is Pityfishing with the readers (Thanks Urbandictionary, can't find the right word for what he's doing in my original post). His problems are really not as bad as what others go through, but he treats his "woman problem" like it's the worst thing ever that he can't move on from it.
