When I was a kid in the 60’s we would find large chunks of fool’s gold live in Cornwall Pennsylvania a coal mining town. Love your excitement Blessings from Pennsylvania 🇺🇸🎚🙏🇮🇱
Always love your adventures. Like your silver wrist bands also. I have a friend in OK that i sent some of my gold i found last year and she's making me a gold one. I love blue and gold.
Those holes are a female trap door spiders nest. You just ripped her trap door off the spiders nest! I guarantee You would not be putting your fingers anywhere near that door if you knew what was in there! 🤣
Love this spot I go here all the time! If you get back I recommend walking relatively quickly and scanning for larger nodules, there are areas here where they are regularly golf ball sized up to softball sized. If you get more time to explore check out Soledad canyon road, there's really old anothosite, the Emma mine with copper minerals and some blue agate in certain areas. Great video!
I remember hunting with a rock club back in the 60s at Acton. You're advice is right on which I wouldn't do without a proper hammer/pick. Thanks for including the other sites as I've been in the east for decades and all the members of the rock club would be at least 100 years old if I could even find them.
So your making a movie near there ? Cool.. Can we get a hint at the name ?? lol.. If your ever near Barstow, Coolgardie, Ord Mtn, and the Calico's are all good places for rocks an prospecting..
I was rock hounding yesterday here in Las Cruces, NM, and found a Pleistocene era horse tooth fossil!!!!! SO excited.
Wow I live in Las Cruces! I am always looking for rockhounding buddies but my family really don't care anything about rocks and geology.
I'm from El Paso, how weird, end up at watching the same lil video. Guess we end up liking geodes and rocks when you've lived or live in the desert. 😋
The freaky-thing looks like a puff-ball fungus, mushroom thing ( I believe ). Fun rock-hounding quest, I just discovered your channel.

I was hoping to see all those little agates cut open at the end... even if they weren't good. Cool finds though. Beautiful.
That’s rad!
The big spider in the web is a female Orb Weaver Spider. I walked into one when I was a kid and the spider was on my chest! 🤪
