    Got this for Christmas. Played 2 times and really like it so far. Love the dice, theme and artwork.

    Between this and The Pursuit of Happiness... which do you prefer?
    They seem very similar.

    Cool, a Yahtzee, card collecting version of the Game of Life it seems... I'll have to check this one out!

    Just finished watching Rodney's "Play it" and love the concept of the game. You should play with Zee and Sam live... great family game... thanks

    Hi Tom, Has CV: Gossip come to the US? I only see it available super pricey on Amazon. not CSI, MM, or CH...

    For those wondering it's really "Call to Adventure" in the real world with dice instead of runes, which is infinitely less frustrating.
    If only Call to Adventure used Dice it would be a much better game.

    I have tried it once, in a 4-player game ...
    Well, at the end we all had the impression that we could have played it at different tables without decreasing the interactions without us ...
    Thanks to this game, I now understand the concept of "solitary multiplayer" which i quite odd because for games often described as "solitary multiplayer" I don't lack interactions.

      I have HATED the game so I haven't bought it.
      And there are enough goods games not to waste money to try improve a bad game.

      +Xahendir Stras Why are u so angry? dont you know any board game clubs around your area? you dont have to buy a game to play it. jeez...

      "Hate" was too strong a word.
      But my first play was ininteressant enough for me not to try it again. My friends and I have a lot of good games so I will play them.

      +Xahendir Stras thats okay. its just that i use this game to introduce non gamers to the hobby and it ALWAYS does the trick and makes them want to play more and even sometimes buy the game.

    I like the artwork, looks a bit like funny greeting cards, which works for me. The theme however, doesn't grab me at all. So even though it looks like it has decent game mechanics, I'll be passing on it. I'm more interested in their CVliz@tions game.

    So every time it gets back to first player a card slides off and a new card comes out. Does this mean first player always gets a extra fresh card over the other 3 players??

      It's just a mechanic to move the game along

    My wife and I love this game, it's a perfect game for couples IMO

    the expansion is sooooooo good! you'd give it a seal of excellence, i think.

    • @BlueSapphyre
      @BlueSapphyre 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The expansion is very mean. We didn't enjoy it at all.

    • @StrayFire
      @StrayFire 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jesse Haulk how is it more mean than any other competetive game with take that mechanics?

    • @BlueSapphyre
      @BlueSapphyre 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +StrayFire exactly my point. The take-that mechanism introduced in the expansion makes it a mean game.

    • @StrayFire
      @StrayFire 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jesse Haulk but its not like these are very mean cards. did they really make the game so bad for you? my Group loved the theme behind these cards.

    • @joelbergvonlinde1389
      @joelbergvonlinde1389 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont think it's mean. The points you get from the take that cards mean we sometimes play them on ourselves. Great expansion

    I would call them 'happiness' dice not 'good luck'. Seems more in keeping with the theme.

    • @michald.9573
      @michald.9573 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In Polish "szczęście" means luck as well as happiness. So the translation is a bit unfortunate.

    Looks very similar to Nations: the dice game...

    • @samiamagainagain
      @samiamagainagain 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It didn't feel at all like Nations Dice. That comparison never crossed my mind.

    • @freddieyu

      +stanislav maryenko Reminded me of Nations Dice as well

    • @samiamagainagain
      @samiamagainagain 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are not building up your own pool of dice in CV. It's closer to Seasons or King of New York where you are using card powers, not a dice pool.
