Health lost in druid form is transferred to missing health in new bear form. If the druid shapeshifts at exactly 50% it maths to 75% bear health. But you take a massive hit like in video and you can get no bear form or close to 50% bear health.
I will post word-for-word here the same comment I posted on an Old Guardian video discussing this mini: I had high hopes for the Druid of the Claw, but I've been disappointed so far too. Rather than its current implementation where you have no control over its forms they could have used a modified version of the surge mechanic where you play it for 3 energy and it is played (permanently) in its Night Elf Form or if you click again immediately after playing it it sinks an extra 1, or 2 energy into it and plays it (permanently) in its bear form. Perhaps buff the bear's stats to represent the increased price. This sort of flexibility would make it a much more interesting design for being able to slap down a single target dps healer when necessary or a tank when necessary. If my implementation was implemented the way I suggested then I would completely rework the talents to. I would delete the Rejuvenation talent and instead roll that into the Nigh Elf form's base ability, delete the Damage buff aura and roll that into the Bear form's base ability. Delete the transformation heal ability since it no longer makes any sense. I would then implement entirely new talents. One would be: "If played in Night Elf Form gain resistant, if played in Bear form gain armored" similar to Rend Blackhand's talent. Another could be: "Heals given and received are 20% more effective" This would buff his NE form by making his rejuvenation ability stronger and buff the tank form by making it more survivable when paired with healers. A 3rd could be: "Reduce the cost of this mini by 1" Dropping his base cost to 2 and thus giving him the Cycle trait (which could open up the possibility of putting it in a cycle slot for certain army cops or leader synergies) and the bear's cost to 3 or 4 depending. IDK these talents are just spitballs I came up with off the top of my head, but I think a rework something along the lines of what I just laid out here would make for a far more interesting mini.
I like it. I have some of my ideas as well. I also can't explain why they release these units and then build the tree of rewards the way that we have to buy and upgrade that garbage. If you want money from us you can't give us this poor quality.
@@Bulava-ASH I've personally spent I think around ~$40 on the game, and I'd honestly rather pay for real content rather than just leveling a mini. Like I'd be willing to pay $2- or so for an expansion that was essentially just another full campaign like the base game's. But if they want to convince me that buying something like that is worth while then they need to not be so egregious with the pay-to-win mechanics as they have been with this event.
Honestly I think it's more useful if they just leave it as an immediate heal. Helps prevent those situations he mentioned initially where you turn to bear with very little hp.
The only application I have found for it is unlike harvest golem this mini CAN be pushed forward with huntress or wolf. Regrowth is best imo for consistency. Leader of the pack is win more and doesn’t solve the banshee problem
...his healing works even on Gargoyle statue form........., you can get taunt "wards" healing them... (don't remember any other form of healing working on Garg statue) 🤭
But there are not soo many minis outside of heroes that can heal an deal damage at the same time. Isn‘t there a scenario where you could build a deathball strat deck which usually means having a tank + 2 healers that stabilize the incoming damage that you can add more units. By having one more unit capable of healing outside of hero+shaman could potentially accelerate the deathball generation
talent art is better than the actual mini itself.. Keep that guy & give him more control of mini development... I'm very confused on how they make mini's today. From the mountaineer rework I thought they started to ge it? Taunt became built-in instead of a talent great. So the first talent Regrowth should be a built in-mechanic not a talent (If you ever played Druid in WoW Druids would cast Regrowth & Rejuvenation before going in to bear form to survive better to not get stomped) & A druid that goes into bear form but has no armour or tank trait? what?

Tallents : 1)bear can roar too as elf 2)he could shapeshift back to the elf to use rejuvenation on injured ally then shapeshift back to bear 3)deploys allready in bear form with bloodlust Dunno ,one of the best unit in WC3 is so bad here , I'm sad.
Well yes i Lost lots of motivation with The new content more pay to win and the lv diference fells much more stonger now with malfurion ogrim and anub arak and sylvanass with rework The Game need lots of balance patch combos buff and nerf because is less stategy and more bruteforce and ancient of war don't helps because well tecnically You don't have spells until You kill it. And blizzard actually creates lots of under performance and over performance units more under permanece trends eclipse The headless hourse knight

I think the “20% over 5 sec” is bugged. It seems to heal the entire 20% immediately instead of over 5 sec

When you turn into bear form you should have 5 seconds of 90% damage reduction like the MC boss

Oh, I thought the self heal would be as strong as Malfurions heal, so around 20% every second and it turns out I misunderstood, it's 20% overall lol

5000 for all 3 tiers of "Take Towers with Druid of the Claw's Leader of the Pack"
