Our traditional fabric cotton is suitable for Indian weather!
Nowadays the trend is to buy readymade online.
In earlier times, we used to go to the shop and do clothes selection,Used to touch that cloth, feel it,Seeing the designs were sewn.
Let us buy traditional handloom fabric today.
Shri Pannalal ji from Rajasthan made a small start from cut pieces in 1960 from Sadashiv Peth Pune.
The mission was to give Punekars a quality handloom.
Today, Lunkad fabric is a icon of quality handloom.
Shibori fabric, which is a very interesting handloom fabric.
It is made in hundred percent cotton.
The fabric is tied with a pin and later dyed it to create the design.
Ajrak Print which is a Traditional hand Block Printing Fabric.Aazrakh hand block print is a beautiful art of craftsman where nature plays an important role. These natural prints are made through the sun river mud.There it is a process of vegetable dye.
It is baatiqe fabric and it comes from Katch and its a hand block printing process.
The best fabric for making masks is cotton
It is soft and comfortable.
We met a customer here who makes masks.
And she was buying cotton cloth for the maks here.

Dabo fabric is the side of Jaipur.
Cotton is the best fabric for our Indian skin.
Ekkat fabric is not print.This is a woven fabric.It is first tied and then woven.It is a complete handloom process.
You can make mens kurtas,shirts, trousers,shorts,from it,.All these is are trending now.If you look online or any brand, ikat fabric will be used more in it.
Whenever we see a finished product, we feel that it will be very easy but they have a lot of hard work behind it.
There is a lot of hard work of the weawers behind it, they work all day and night.The whole family stays in the same work.
But right now, the younger generation is hesitating to come in this work.
Because they feel that they do not have much money in this work.They are not getting as much money as their hard work.
My favorite fabric is the most popular cotton.
Which absorbs moisture and keeps the body temperature correct.
Indigo fabricin thisshop is double dyed.
The specialty of an Indigo cloth is that it will leave a color when you add it to the water, it leaves a color.But this Indigo fabric will leave the color but not so much because it is double dyed.
Dabo fabric also available here.This is a block print fabric.The block is printed on cotton.This is very smooth fabric.There is a small village named Bagru in Jaipur.It is made in that village.
People need some new trends and different prints,not as usual like flower,leaves they want something different.
People who run boutiques take fabric from here and their clothes are made and sold.
Kalamkari prints are also made in this.
Silk fabric is made from silkworm.
Brasso fabric is very old fabric.It is used to make sari,lehengaand dresses.

For the last 40 years we have been visiting regularly. Good service, ample choice ,new variety is available only in Lunkad fabric shop.

Visionary leadership of Shri Pannalal lunkadji coupled with right quality at right price and buisness ethics has converted buisness into institution.
