- The Strange Thing About NF - Now, NF might just be the biggest rapper in hip hop most rap fans still don't know about. This strange thing regarding NF is one of the more relevant conversations surrounding him & his music. That's what I talk about.
In this video I talk about the strange thing about NF.

When he releases album 4 this year he will finally blow up.
The sad thing is that he has already blown up with Let You Down peaking at #12. I hope he gets recognized by hip hop fans and artists soon.
@@jeromeb715 It even went no.1 on the pop songs charts
@@jeromeb715 Yes i know he has gained a lot of popularity, but he still isn't recognized by the hip hop community and he has never done a feature with a rapper really... I hope that will change soon.
@@poptartburrito3948 I think i heard in an interview him saying that, but that interview was in 2018.
I swear I replied to this before, but my thoughts exactly. I'm so excited to watch album 4 soar up the charts on release day.
"Fame called me. Im like how you doin? Hung up on 'em I ain't ready for it. I'll get back to them when I make Album 4"

"Got a taste of the fame, had to pump my stomach
Throw it back up like I don't want it
Wipe my face, clean off my vomit"

He didn't even touch on the main point....
NF doesn't curse a single time in his music.
Actually I think he's only said 2 bad word in his songs I one he said the f word in his song called green light and he's said more but you are right he's really good I don't know how he does it
@@lilbob1013 where does he swear in green lights, or any other recent song? He states in his song notepad
"I made a lot of mistakes
You've been there for the whole thing
Help me with the drama
Rapping in the car outside daily
We don't care if it's the winter
We don't care if its the summer
I remember writing raps with the curse words
I just wanna hear it
It seems like everybody does it
Did it for awhile wasn't into all the cussin'

The line "christian is not the definition of perfect means was not a strike at christianity, if you hear the preceding line, he was basically saying he is not perfect even though he is Christian
i'm not christian but as a fellow religious person that kinda speaks the truth

The strange thing about NF is that he is underrated

he’s not really underrated anymore. I mean his album did beat out one of the biggest rappers in the game and hit the no. 1 spot in the country. honestly I think he’s getting as much recognition as he deserves
frank as long as he’s not number one, he’s underrated
Tyson May
lmao okay he’s not underrated but this is an example of how his fanbase constantly overhypes him. NF is not even in top 100 list of the greatest rappers, and he probably never will be. the no. 1 spot in the charts is definitely all the recognition he deserves for now
"We are being debated if we're underrated, we're so overlooked that they're looking over our numbers, Nathan" - NF
JasDavINK because he hasnt sold his soul like every mainstream trash bag has.
He’s clearly an introvert, he likes his privacy, and he doesn’t like fame or attention for himself. I think you called it right when you said he likes to let his music speak for him.
To get to know him a little better I follow him and his wife on Twitter, and Instagram, but they are still pretty private people, which I respect.
Hes from a neighboring town to me. Very much what I'd expect of a genuine small town man..made or not. So glad you found his music!

He doesn't want to blow up. I think he loves were he is. He loves making thousands while not having the big fame. Like you said. "His music speaks for himself"
Cameron Oosthuysen where*
He’s not making thousands. “I just made a couple mil still not impressed.” He is a millionaire now but doesn’t care🤷♂️
You're right about that. Even though he is a Christian, most of his songs are not Christian songs. He did sing some songs with Christian artists like Tobymac (song Til the Day I Die), Britt Nicole and Flame (song Start Over). God's will for NF was to write songs (maybe not all of them) as a form of healing from what happened to him as a child. The Lord blessed him with his music and with success but He doesn't give fame to his children. That's something that I learned from Him not too long ago. God should be the One to be glorified.
Blowing up comes with drama NF doesn't want and this guy thinks it's "Strange".
@@cuties1582 that's exactly my thoughts. He has roots in his heart that keep him humble. NF has made it clear that he's in this for therapy, healing and outlet. He's also reaching others who have fears and struggles. Personally, he's helped me. So I agree. I think God blessed him because he remains humble and true to himself.

He is known as the “let you down guy” Logic was known as the “1-800” guy in 2017. NF just needs to break through with his 4th album
His rap music is bland as fuck, he needs to stick to pop
Facts
Blake Anderson pop? Are we listening to the same guy?
Blake Anderson you’re probably listening to the wrong song, have you heard “intro” “know” “one hundred” or “statement” his rap is way better than his pop shit
Bison he’s nothing special his music is just ok. Sorry 😐
The only reason he isn’t popular because people only like rap now a days where they talk about sex drugs killing and girls.
U clearly don't know rap and NF is popular lol
That's what the mainstream industry wants you to believe. If they only sign drugrappers, people will think that is what people like. It's all about money. And pharmaceutical industry makes money on drug type music.
Bruh lil Uzi ain't a super drugged up/sexual rapper and he's the most pop rapper rn.
the reason he isn’t popular is because he goes out of his way to avoid doing interviews, features, or promoting his music. I know you’re just a kid, but you obviously don’t know much about the state of rap today. there are many rappers that don’t talk about those topics often and are still popular. and there are also a lot rappers who constantly talk about those topics and are better in NF in many aspects

@@indigobeatz1526 I know, but I meant like that it's not overused like in many songs these days :)
@@Djuztin exactly, in fact all artists do use some sort of autotune in their music but it's only annoying when it's overused and it's like you might as well just take out the artist and replace him with anyone.
As a student of musical production, there is always pitch correction or some digital correction to audio to make it sound better, which is fine, even some of the best singers have it in case their voice quivers too much or they don't quite hit the right note. They'll even record the song a few times and take the best clips from each recording and splice them together. The auto tune that is usually hated on is super heavily altered audio, when it sounds robotic and unnatural.

@@juanoooh8878 what did that comment even mean ffs
Listen to the lyrics and verses of his songs. He likes being the outcast. That all he’s ever known. His parents weren’t the best people and as his black balloons symbolize he has a lot of burdens. He carries his issues and demons with him and then writes when he is mad or lost. He is a very low key kind of person. He also gets overwhelmed when people start saying he’s the reason they are alive. Like before his shows he’s said multiple times that his anxiety gets high. That’s why he want to be relevant but not if he isn’t supposed to be. He doesn’t expect everyone to respect it, as he’s said in one of his songs.

Also he doesn’t do it for fame either he talks about his own life, difficulties happiness or whatever he is feeling at that moment and rap about it and tries to figure out stuff, If he was then he would pop out albums after albums and talk about whatever he can. That’s why he doesn’t collab as much as other artists cuz other artists can’t write about his life. I do think album 4 will be very important for him and his music as he is slowly getting recognition and a lot of people discovering him and rec4 will expose people of his type of music.
Been a fan since 2013 when my mom and I heard “Start Over” by Flame featuring NF, going to his “The Search” concert this year and I can’t wait!
ItsTrinityyy this comment lowkey makes me emotional and happy, been a fan since 2016 #🗝
Nike F nf real music🖤🙏🏽
I came across NF by accident, kept seeing "Leave Me Alone" on my recommended list, watched, listened and now my NF playlist is 30+ and growing. I can't tolerate rap on any level but Nate does something different for me, I want to learn the lyrics, write "raps". the REAL brand is one I'm proud to wear.
Well, with the last 2 songs: "The search" and "when i grow up" i noti ed a Lot more recognition than his older songs/albums so i Hope that with the next album he Will finally Blow up harder
Value privacy
Nf: I like privacy but lately l feel it’s invaded.
This guy(NF) is the definition of being underrated!!
I'm wearing a NF hoodie
ok jody

Blacky: "Now"
He hasn’t blown because he hasn’t sold his soul simple

Nah it’s just because he’s trash
Kams wut you mean he’s trash ?? You clearly don’t listen to real music 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kams and do you not like him bc he’s a Christian ✝️ rapper ?????

NF is nowhere near as good as Em but alright
How about tell them about both but I like eminem a lot more personally
This generation will tell their kids about NF

10/10
2:25 I jumped out of my seat when I saw that lmao
Im his fan for like 8 years. Huge fan, l just love his lyrics and im excited that he got some recognition.
His lyrical content is opposite and different from mainstream rap.
That’s what separates him most.
honestly that’s totally wrong. you’re literally saying that what separates NF the most from other rappers is that he’s lyrical and mainstream rappers aren’t lyrical. lyricism is the most typical and ordinary thing to see in rap. just because you don’t hear it on the radio or from more popular rappers doesn’t mean that it’s strange or unusual.
frank man what’s your problem? Seen you leave like 10 comments trying to dissagree with people who like him
Frank it the content.
Real issues most of us can relate.
No cussing, sex, or boasting, just real.
Hey you don’t like him, that’s ok, why listen to stuff you don’t like.
Enjoy what you do like 👍🏾
I literally said nothing in my comment about disliking NF 😂
Ok
Have fun 🤟🏽
"I'll get back to that when I make Album 4"...... He'll blow up in this next record.
"I'm sick of people tellin' people I'm here 'cause of marketing dollars, oh
You think that everything is gonna blow just 'cause you market it harder? No"
NF - NO NAME
omg everytime i talk about him literally everyone in my school is like ”who??“ because they literally don’t know who nf is but i never thought about it
Have them listen to one of his songs. What I liked about him when I first heard one of his songs is how real he is, real music.
Yes! That's exactly what I was thinking about for a while now, NF has been super out of the mainstream rap scene for a while. I hope with his 4th album he can get some rap features and continue to boost his popularity. Sick video as always blacky!
You forgot to add in the quote from nf."if I am a Christian and I'm a builder does that mean I only build houses for the people of god?"
His Song "Why Would You Leave Us" is what mainly brought me towards his music when I went thru a hard time with my mom, I related to it so well and all his music is so good it's insane to me

Check the track breathe by evidennt
He did videos on him before
I’ve been listening to NF for 2 years... it’s all the music I need, and I haven’t listened to any other music. I feel like he understands me and I can relate to his music in many ways and I feel like someone is out there that gets me, where no one else will, and he never sticks to one specific thing, I can listen to his songs on repeat and it always feels new
The search is how I found NF, then I fell in love with all of his music 🔥
In my opinion I think he’s one of the best rappers cause he never cussed and it speaks to you!! You can feel and relate with his music he rocks!!!!
There are plenty of dope rappers that never cuss.
Although NF is a different style of rapping and is one of the best rappers right now so
"NF* HAS CREATED HIS OWN LANE OF HIPHOP AND GLOBAL REACH"!!! HE IS TRULT SET APART!!!🙏🏽👑🎙🎤🌎✊🏽💪🏽☝🏽
The Search
When i grow up

No Name
Were lit yet he is still under-rated and he will surpass Billie Eilish in just few moment ( i hope so)..but no matter who he defeats he will be the one and only standing on the peak our legendary " NF"
I never heard of Billy Ellish whats he like? What are your favorite songs you would suggest to check out.
@@danp1471 its a she* and she is a 18 year old singer
Green lights is nasty aswell on of my favs
@Amauria Denmark NF is an artist who sings from the heart. Billie Eilliesh is a attention seeker cuz she didn't had any issues or past traumatic experience. NF suffered a lot, his songs made us feel him. That's the thing WE feel HIM. That's the strength of music and I'm sure NF is gonna surpass if he hits mainstream. He however has a cult-like crowd so.. I guess he gonna just stay in his own lane at his pace.
“I’d rather be the outcast” “I thought you had me in prison this whole time but I’m the one holding the keys” he chooses to distance himself from these new rappers
