I hope you enjoy the video! As you can tell, the swap is coming along good, and it’s really cool building some custom stuff! Stay tuned for the next video where we finish the front and start working on the rear! I forgot to mention it, but you can use the code JKgear at Barnes4WD and 7Slotcustoms to get a discount! What Jeep projects do you have planned?
Cassie and Ben, you guys make a helluva combination. Ben doesn't take himself too seriously and no fake macho about him, and Cassie is all natural and can wrench as well as wheel. No doubt her channel will grow as she drops more videos.
@@gscrawford74 This is Cassie's channel. Ben's channel is JK Gear & Gadgets. You could check his channel out also. Full of DIY projects, wheeling videos, product reviews, and much more.
Ben has definitely hit the lotto with Cassie. It's hard to find someone that likes your passion for something as it is but to have someone that gets into it just as much is amazing. Keep on jeep'n
I can't sustain litebrite for another 5 seconds, she is not too bad but her husband basically whored her out for clickbaits. They have no mechanic knowledge like Ben, nor will to wrench like Cassie. Their videos are the worst infomercial at best.
You guys are awesome together. Really enjoy both of your energy and love of doing things yourself. I always learn a lot from you both and you're enjoyable to watch. Keep up the great work you two!
Great job, guys. Definitely good to see people working on their own rigs. When you guys were working on the drag link and track bar it would have been an excellent opportunity to discuss the length and angle relationship between the two and why ideally they should be the same to minimize bumpsteer. I've read the angle should take priority over the length. I thought I saw an example worked with math to prove this, but finding it is a different story.
Girl!!!! You are a badass!!! Keep pumping out this great content Cassie, I promise it will pay off. I enjoy seeing you on Ben's channel as well, I think you both bring content worth watching. I love how real your videos are so dont let fame and fortune change that about y'all. Much love from Louisiana
did *anyone* else's heart STOP when cassie reached out and touched the weld 'right' after welding?!? thank GOD for editing... sheesh - i'm still freaking out over that! LMAO! good job doing the work yourself, too! i know you don't know me, but i'm proud of you! (and besides you got ben to help out when/if needed!) keep up the good work!
Very cool build so far and very impressive Cassie! You and Ben are definitely inspiring me to get into my JKU build. Both your channels have a lot of good info and following along with your experiences makes me more confident to make decisions on how I want to make my build! Keep wrenching!
Cassie you've been my favorite down to earth , beautiful, upbeat JEEP Girl from day one and after this nicely detailed video your channel is moving up the list fast ! Great work and nice welding ! Ben does pretty good work too LOL. LOVE YALL !
Fellow texan here. I'm thinking I will just buy a frame and cab of a jeep. These videos show that just about everything can and will be replaced. Great vids.
Strong work! Made some major Mods to my 1st Gen 4rnr. Highly recommend leveling up to a plasma cutter if you all plan to to more major DIY jobs similar to this.
Wow those welds are great cass !!! , not as good as my popcorn I do lol . And usually you slow mo clothes coming off not on Ben !! Lmao. Another awesome video guys !! Pumped for the lj !!!
Man, you hit the mega lotto with that woman bud. Not only is she good with the wrench, hell when I saw her weld and lay down a decent bead I said "BINGO"..…... WOW
I’ve been waiting for this content to start picking up, and it was worth the wait!! Great job so far this is awesome stuff 😃 I’m a newbie welder too but just have a fcaw... and your welds look way better than mine 😅👍
I've not seen a lot of ya'lls videos. Mostly the Gladiator stuff. I thought you were an ordinary Jeep Mom, meant with no disrespect. Jeep mom and Jeep fabricator/builder? Freakin Awesome. Sorry Ben lol. I've been garage welding for a lot of years and I think your welds look fantastic. Nicely done.
Thank you!! Just started learning/practicing in the garage a few months back, wish I had started learning sooner. Such a good skill to have. Also, no offense taken😂 lol
Bought my new gladiator yesterday. ( 9-29-20) I should have it delivered to me by 11-29-20. It will be a 21 model yr. I think it would be so cool if I could get it autographed by both of you.
It's coming along nicely. Hopefully I can get my Jeep trail ready soon enough. Would love to catch you guys on the trails some day! Always look for the Jeep's when I head up to Gloucester lol.
Would love to play with a JL or even a JK, but can't touch them for much less than $20k around here. Even a TJ commands a premium. I still get plenty of fun with my pair of Flatty CJs.
Hey Cassie I was wondering what brand legging you have I love the art and colors on them and I’d like to get some for my fiancé if you don’t mind the help Love the videos can’t wait to see the Lj done I’m so excited
I am excited to see how everything looks and performs at the end of this project as well!! I get most of my leggings from a company called balance athletica. They drop new collections and colors every 2 months or so. Very comfortable!
I am actually redoing the suspension on my TJ right now for better flex. I have the same issue of my track bar hitting the pumpkin if I go any higher. So my question is, how far forward can I move the frame mount. I need about an inch to clear but I wasn’t sure how in line with the axle mount it had to be. I have a rubicon express frame bracket and trackbar. I know I have to make sure I clear the pitman arm.
I hope you enjoy the video! As you can tell, the swap is coming along good, and it’s really cool building some custom stuff!

Jeep Gear & Gadgets what are the wheels on the LJ?
They are Mickey Thompson Classics that I painted grey
y'all know they say "never trust someone that works on jeeps in crocks!!' lol!!
Just messin, appreciate the vids y'all, keep it up.

I don't know why LiteBrite gets all the attention when you guys are getting down right into the nitty gritty. Bravo to you both!
their target demographic is prepubescent teen age boys

Jack Bower - The blonde. Both good looking women, but the blonde is cuter......even if she doesn’t work on the truck

She’s a keeper for sure!
Cassie I didn’t know you could weld like that! Bravo!
Honestly, really looks like the two of you are having a blast doing this. Looks like a great bonding activity.
Nice
Cassie keeping jeeping classy! I love it!
Doing this swap on my ZJ, thanks for posting guys. It really helps to see someone do this first.

Your Jeep is looking awesome. Soon you will be able to show Ben who is the boss out on the trails.

As a welding engineer I can attest to the little known fact that women usually are better welders than men.
Ricky Martin my son’s girlfriend is better than him. So yup 👍
Yep! Women have more patience 🤣. Half of welding is just going slow and being very detail oriented
I see it every day
most of it is likely being willing to listen to instructions XD
@@jamesmarchel8386 They also most of the time, listen while be taught, and dont think they know it all!
You’ll be at 15k subs after this axle swap is done. I know it. Nice to see a jeepher doing work and welding, it’s fun to watch
Love watching the work you guys do. Thanks for all the education and fun.
I need to find a Classy Cassie. That's the best upgrade ever.
Hell yea! Everything is looking really good! I’m loving this so far and can’t wait to keep seeing more!

Well done!
Finally the LJ
Rock crawler used to make custom length control arms I’m not quite sure if they still do but they used to
11:07 hey beautiful !! you do it better than many welders !!!

Nice welds! Giving me motivation to finally learn how to weld. Can’t wait to see it once it’s all finished
Thank you! You should definitely try welding, a lot of fun!
Very cool! Great video. I plan on getting an LJ soon and would like to do an axle swap as well.
Did I miss something? Looks like you can turn left, but not so much right. Are you still going to move the coil mounts at the top out?
Love the channel as always.

Big mistake not covering the shock shafts as the sparks and weld spatter can put or stick to the shafts and wreck the seals.
