I was not for drafting Caleb. I don’t think JF had a good shot at success with a sub par o line, and sub par coaches. Caleb has impressed me though. His arm and release is a little quicker, and I do think he processes better than I expected. However his sheer determination and passion are tops in the league!! I have become a believer in Caleb Williams! Not sure if Poles is the best to decide the next head coach or not. I was extremely disappointed with most everything about Flus from day one…..
Justin Fields was trash. Two wins last year, TWO! Justin Fields career record was 11-29. Mitch Trubisky was 29-22 with the Bears, and Caleb Williams already had 4 wins by the halfway point. Even the Steelers benched Fields. Stop it already.
Keenan is a class act and pro. When Caleb was struggling I saw him on the sideline working with him and encouraging him. When you pout about the production and have bad body language it doesn’t solve anything. Now we see Caleb is ripping that ball to him. Bring Keenan back on a fair deal.
An interesting note on the Peyton comp is he had Faulk and Harrison as a rookie. While Harrison wasn’t quite at his HOF peak with 776yds Faulk had an all time great season with 1300/900 which was overshadowed by Terrell Davis’ rushing for 2000. It makes you wonder how this offense would’ve looked if they would’ve signed Plan A at RB in Saquon…
In my opinion, Jenkins was much better next to Wright. He was so much better last year. He’s getting better on the left but then again he’s also been hurt.
