This is one of the reasons i stopped playing NLH close to 2 years now. It reminds me of games like call of duty. It's all fun when you're versing other humans but the moment the developers do not do updates, it leads to hacks like aim bots and soon after the game is basically dead since everyone's cheating.
I've listened to Elon Musk talking about his team working on a chip that can be implanted into the brain to access the internet without the use of a computer. How would games like poker survive if and when that happens Ben?
it isn't realistic to think that this technology will be accessible to people who aren't either insanely rich or privately involved with whatever company. Maybe in 10 years it could be a problem in the highest stakes online but I doubt it. Elon Musk has said many things and been wrong the guy isn't Nostradamus
These solvers are changing the game so much, and fast. I haven’t been playing/studiying so much last couple years (focus on other business) but used to play for living, full time grind. If you don’t study somehow these GTO solvers strategys now, you are very much behind. I was lately on couple big FT in some of the big series running online, and it was so obv that most people where using preflop solvers/ICM live charts doing the beginning of the FT - something where I really felt a different from years back. Yes, I know people been studying ICM spots more, but people where so accurate, it was easy to see they used a solver. Ofc very good players/highrollers will know how to exploit that - but just think this is going in the wrong direction, and this is only the beginning. With the fast developement we see with AI/AR/data atm - I think we have some seriously crushing software tools, that works together with these solver datas within years, and I think it’s going to be very difficult to spot for the pokersites, as they probably will be able to be adjusted to human mistakes also. I don’t hope, but difficult to see this not happening? I also could imagine phones being banned from live tours anytime soon, who knows, maybe already doing this year WSOP? Anyways, think you spot on, and thanks for always interesting content! :)
Honestly I've checked many hands after a because I was thinking "I just wanna see if I got the spot right" but I'll not do it anymore after this video.
Seeing you struggling to explain this shows how messed up is people in relation to ethics and integrity. And that includes poker sites, stars doesn't even answer anymore to reporting.
NO! This is absolute bullshit. I am sure that most of the good players are NOT using preflop charts. GG is very relentless and has banned many players for using Preflop Charts.
You really think "all the good players are cheating" or are you just using that as an excuse to cheat yourself? You can listen to the top players talk about hands and you can clearly see why they are top players, and its not because of RTA.
@@RaiseYourEdge IDK, I've heard a lot of stories of pros talking about how they used to play with charts plastered all over their desk and wall. I play 6max cash, and it does seem a little weird to use charts there since those charts are so finite and easy to memorize, but I can imagine for tourney play, especially ICM play, the charts would be a lot more impactful.
15:00 honestly spot on comparison to studying for an exam.
Hi, 36:50, and what if he is crazy and calling more than he has to? We can no longer shove 100%, right? Thank you.
If I shove optimal and get called light in a huge spot get sucked out on what's the gto solution for that

I always remember when Doug Polk won a bracelet, he pulled up a chart and used it for his decisions
What are you talking about for real?
Try winning 1$ mtt using ur fucking charts 😂😂
It‘s possible that he forgot a lot of things over the time.
Congratulations on 100k Ben
I use GTO when I 1st sit down or open a new table, then start slowly shift to exploitive.
Ben its 2023 and if there is a way to win money people will use it.. sad but true.. Pokersites are the ones that need to fix it beacuse we playes cant
But before 2023 cheaters didn't exist?
So inspiring video ! Thx Ben
A goldmine of wisdom, thank you Ben

Benny Savant. Thanks for yet another hella cool informative lesson.
Rta is good. If you are a pilot or a surgeon or something. In a poker table is a reason to get punched in the face and get banned from the game.
If you feel that all the good players are using preflop charts online, does that justify you using them too?
Yes.
