The riddles and clues were a good start for this early take on Riddler, but if he makes a return in future movies, I hope get to see the version of Riddler who sets up elaborate puzzles and death traps that personally challenge Batman's physical and mental strength. It would be awesome to get a Batman/Riddler movie with more of a Saw/Squid Game element to it.
I give this movie an easy 9/10. Nearly a masterpiece, especially considering how much Batman we've been seeing on the big screen in the past few decades, It feels fresh. I would love to see Pattinson return maybe jump another 2 years from here, being brought out to solve a special case of missing test subjects for a certain fear toxin👀. But yeah, I really want to see a Scarecrow in this universe so bad, I think Jimmi Simpson would be a perfect fit for the role of Jonathan Crane. Loved the reaction, good job getting it back up.
Scarecrow would be dope. I like Batman Begins but I don't think they did a great job with that particular character. I also want to see Victor Fries, Hugo Strange, and Waylon Jones. I want to tread some new ground in Batman cinema and even though having a Joker to The Batman is kind of essential, I don't really want him to be the sole focus of anything unless they go far enough in the Battinson world to do the Death in the Family story. But they can't start with Jason, we need Dick Grayson to be the first Robin.

You can't really go wrong with villains in the Batman universe. The Joker, while overused imo, is still THE villain and at some point he should be a part of Matt Reeve's universe. I like Scarecrow a lot but I would love guys like Killer Croc (Arkham Asylum Style), Mad Hatter or Firefly in the mix. Maybe Black Mask as well.

This movie means so much to me cuz I'd been excited for it since Pattinson's screen test was released way back in June of 2019. So much to love in this film; from the car chase, to the fantastic visuals, to actual depth for Catwoman, to Penguin, the movie has it all.
I loved this movie. I still don't know where I would definitively rank it among the other Batman movies; the problem is it is really different from all the other ones. Regardless, this one is still a banger, and I was entertained the entire time.

I feel like the Dark Knight movies were about Bruce Wayne, but The Batman is about Gotham City. It drew a lot of its story from Batman Year 2, and the telltale Batman games which have the same Wayne family origins.
at first i was confused why batman kept standing next to the bomb, but i think he was doing it to show the D.A. guy that batman is now going sacrifice himself, kind of trying anything to get the answer out and to safe him.
awesome...saw it twice in theaters....they nailed the fact that its only his second year with all the details - small mistakes, falling from the glider when trying to land on the bus.... i think RP is the best batman of all time, but Heath is still the best villain. not sure if that will ever change. both movies are outstanding, which speaks to the depth of the character as a whole

I've seen this movie in theaters so many times and what can I say. In my opinion this is the best *Batman* movie. i love The Dark Knight but this movie made me walk out of the theaters feeling like i have never felt in any movie before it speaks to me a lot more than the Dark knight or other Batman films and i just love this Version of batman that he is more younger and this development of Vengeance towards Hope so brilliantly done 10/10 the soundtracks 10/10 the acting just perfect I love The Batman.

You have to watch the north man! I know it's pretty new and still in theaters but it's a great movie, one you should check out in the future. It's not the most complex thing you'll ever see but that's not even a downside. Def should Check out sometime. The movie was great, there were nothing surprising about Pattinson interpretation, of course he would've killed it in Batman, Batman himself reminded me a lot of Bale (with better fighting style and voice). The most interesting to me was the Riddler and he became my new favorite batman villain. Two thing i personally didn't like were the part when they tried to make him intimidating. That didn't work for me, he looked goofy in those scenes, especially with the slow walk and the epic music, And the Joker, f*ck him, we don't need another joker right now, Batman has other villains.
Funny how everyone that talks about the Dark Knight never really talks about Batman. As I've seen someone state before, it may be my favorite Joker movie, but far from my favorite Batman one. Affleck may be my favorite representation of Batman, this is definitely tops for the best Batman movie.
Love love love this movie - so much more layered in story & more stylish than the overrated Nolan movies - was never a massive fan of those, just didn't get carried away with the hype, although Begins is pretty good & Ledger was admittedly awesome.
I can't recommend enough that you watch the Disney movie Dinosaur from the year 2000. It's on Disney+. In my opinion; Dinosaur (2000)'s a criminally underrated masterpiece, and one of the two greatest Disney movies of all time alongside The Lion King (1994). But that's just my opinion. The movie was great, there were nothing surprising about Pattinson interpretation, of course he would've killed it in Batman, Batman himself reminded me a lot of Bale (with better fighting style and voice). The most interesting to me was the Riddler and he became my new favorite batman villain.
Two thing i personally didn't like were the part when they tried to make him intimidating. That didn't work for me, he looked goofy in those scenes, especially with the slow walk and the epic music,
And the Joker, f*ck him, we don't need another joker right now, Batman has other villains.
Funny how everyone that talks about the Dark Knight never really talks about Batman. As I've seen someone state before, it may be my favorite Joker movie, but far from my favorite Batman one. Affleck may be my favorite representation of Batman, this is definitely tops for the best Batman movie.

Love love love this movie - so much more layered in story & more stylish than the overrated Nolan movies - was never a massive fan of those, just didn't get carried away with the hype, although Begins is pretty good & Ledger was admittedly awesome.
I can't recommend enough that you watch the Disney movie Dinosaur from the year 2000. It's on Disney+. In my opinion; Dinosaur (2000)'s a criminally underrated masterpiece, and one of the two greatest Disney movies of all time alongside The Lion King (1994). But that's just my opinion. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and no one has to agree with me at all. Please don't get angry at me and please respect my opinion. Thank you very much. 😊
